These girls received their last feeding and I will be beginning the flush. I will harvest them in two weeks or less. The shorter two girls have some very nice buds and have stacked beautifully. The tall girl has nice buds but are noticibly smaller. I'm thinking of feeding her once more and growing her a little longer in hopes of more growth and putting on some weight. This strain is a 9-11 week strain and the buds are quite frosty so I'll keep monitoring the trichomes til I see some amber. At this point there's a fair amount of cloudy. Thanks for the views peeps and if you like what you see, feel free to drop a like. Love, peace, and Ooligan grease. ❤️✌️🐟

Just wondering if and when to defoliate or just let the girls take their course and continue to bend the fan leaves down unda. I know I want minimize stress and I've put a little bit on them from training but they look good to this point. Thanks

If you need more light on the lower bud sites then use defo , a defo doesn't necessarily means to strip down the plant but to remove strategically your leaves. As you are using a scrog net generally you try to build an even cannopy so you can either defoliate to bring light on the lowest buds sites OR you cut everything under the net when the stretch is over

Hey man, contrary to what a lot of people say on here, here is a interesting article on why defoliating is not beneficial to the plant: https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/community/photons_corner/to-defoliate-or-not-to-defoliate/ On my current grow, I have barely cut any leaves at all. I stumbled on upon this website a couple months ago, its legit!

Much will boil down to your style of growing and how you want to grow. Ultimately, you can only do one thing wrong with these plants and that is to kill them. Everything else is just varying degrees of success. So I am sure you can follow sensible advice both for and against defoliation with good outcomes. My own view follows current scientific thinking which is that it is a bad idea to defoliate, other than to fix humidity issues. The leaves essentially run the whole show and it really does not matter if your buds get any direct light as they develop and grow from the energy developed by the leaves and the nutrients taken from the soil/medium by the plant. It makes perfect sense although it does seem counter intuitive for a simple grower like me. This counter intuitive apporach works for me but there are a lot of variables and much will depend on your style of growing; the equipment you have; the climate you live in; the amount of time/money you can invest; etc. For your autos, the less stress the better, but they are not made of glass and they should be more than capable of dealing with a gentle defoliation if they are currently vigorous and healthy. To learn, we first have to fail.

What a marvelous grow you have here! A mighty yield for sure. I hope she tastes as good as she looks!

@Dr_Carl_Linnaeus, Thanks, I'm definitely pleased to this point. I've grown a gorilla glue photoperiod before and the smell I'm getting is quite the same. Sweet and pungent and very sticky to handle.

Plants are looking great, Do you find the Fast buds responds well too Lst and Scrog? I super cropped mine this time or others call it mainlining, Zkittlez from fastbuds has exploded in growth since I did this. Check my diaries out if you get a chance. Happy growing

@Bashgrowsitall1989, Yes, my research showed me they can handle the LST and I'm using the scrog net in an attempt to keep the canopy as even as possible. They've responded well to the training and overall growth is been steady. The canopy is fairly wide and there are a lot of main bud sites. I'm growing in a 4x4 tent and the 3 girls are taking up a lot of the space. Thanks for viewing & I'll be happy to check yours out! )

to increase growth rate you need to increase humidity to 70%+ (and temperature to 25/26°C) by putting a glass dome on top of the seedling... it will create it's own atmosphere and increase growth rate. Good luck with the grow, growmie ! 🚀

After doing some digging I've come to find that the discoloration on my leaves was due to a nutrient lock caused by salt build up in my medium. I've remedied this by performing a flush putting 2-3 gallons through each plant letting it runoff. I will continue with my normal feeding (every 3rd watering) in a couple days when the soil needs to be watered. It's probably a good idea to do a flush at least once a month.
