Holmes grows Auto Zkittlez by Seedsman

The harvest went truly well and as organized as possible, for this grow, I've chosen to do a wet trim and extraction of each branch off the plant since i don't have the shears to cut the main stem. There's no better time to finish a grow than today on this blessed 420, this grow has been keeping me busy in this pandemic and has enabled me to apply all my focus on the grow everyday, twice a day at least. The smell filled the room and later the house when I finished trimming with the sweet and deep scents of grapefruit with a fuel, gassy, pungent smell. This has got to be the most strongest smelling strain I came across. I've decided to hang it on hangers since I couldn't find a way to dry them, I feel like I should have invested in drying nets but hopefully this will suffice. I got almost half a pound with stems and all wet weight so lets see how much I will yield after the drying process and perhaps after the curing phase as well, just to be more thorough in information. What I have learned from this grow were key essentials for what I can do the next time. -Make sure to plant in the same pot you are going to be harvesting from to alleviate the chances of stunting and stress in order to get that week needed for that short veg -As soon as the flowering begins, add 10-20% increment boosts of bloom nutrients each week in your feeding to prepare your plant for that short mid flower to full on flower within the next two weeks or so -If you know your plant will be a short one with large dense buds, it's recommended to use dry nets in order to properly make use of the tents or your drying environments proportions I will be updating the dry weight in a week or so, as well as some photos of the dry and cure result. (EDIT @ April 29th 2020: I just sampled it after about a little over a week of curing in jars and the flavor profile is somewhat there but the smell was not so present, will be curing it further and updating this log in specific) (EDIT @ May 6th 2020: I've been curing for almost a month now and i've sampled it again this morning in order to experience and construct an opinion with more clarity. The smoke was more thicker than usual an had burned more faster which was odd considering the humidity has only been decreasing by 2% I will be placing one boveda pack in each jars and will continue to cure. The flavor is much more mellow but not so apparent but breaking down the buds filled the room with a sour diesely sharp fuel and dark citrus fruit flavor, not so much candy or skunky, but more pungent. The stems had broken much more easier but clearly from the bigger ones being more bendable there is much more to be done, I will be updating in two weeks to a month, see you then if you're still lookin!) (EDIT May 14th 2020: I've been popping the lids off these jars less and less frequently now that it's been about almost a months worth of drying and curing, tonight i've sampled some of the smaller buds and now see a way bigger difference with smell and taste from these buds, and just a nice aroma when sparked in a large rolled joint of king size, it really comes out full force and gives a heady, face high that is not too intense but really chill and mellow, it's a perfect high to be doing something productive or relaxing on the couch or bed. The flavor when smoked is a crisp but kushy diesel taste with lavender and purple berry undertones, will try to update next sampling in a month but will be smoking casually perhaps once a week since there is a lot heh) (EDIT May 21st 2020: It's been a month after curing and i've been picking at each jars and experiencing the aging process in each stage. I can say by the end of the first month of curing, the bud really matures into a great tasting bud. The flavor profile changed again into a lovely sweet and fruit candy smoke in a joint and blunt. I might have to see how it really tastes after a couple weeks or so in a vaporizer, but we'll see. Each jar is around halfway lol but there's still enough to last until the beginning of winter or end of fall at most and it'll keep getting better for sure. I'm also consuming more of other strains and just local brands just to ease off the jars but if I want a mellow high and tasty smoke, they are my go to!)
