ACE Seeds Brand new Autoflowering variety Malawi x Northern lights This new strain from ACE Seeds isn't listed on the Growdiaries Breeders currant list of strains available from ACE so I have copied the info straight from the ACE website because I think there would be a few growers on here that would be keen on trying this one. Ive got 2 seeds soaking overnight in tepid water that will (once they've cracked) go into some papertowel and a ziplock bag for aprox another 24hours then into the Grow plug. Update 4th feb They both germinated and are now planted into the grow plugs Update 6th feb They both sprouted but something ate one of them 😡 So now I have one malawi x northern lights Here is the info regarding this strain taken from the ACE seeds website We present ACE Seeds' first 100% autoflowering strain: Auto Malawi x Northern Lights. Sativa/indica/rudelaris hybrid of excellent vigor and structure, producing a huge and heavy main cola and powerful side branches loaded with well resinous buds, its production and quality will surprise even the most experienced autoflowering growers. The current improved F4 version of this hybrid produces 2 main phenotypes. The first phenotype (the most interesting in our opinion) produces potent sativa/indica plants (with a flowering of about 9 weeks and a half), of huge yield, very complex terpene profiles, abundant resin production and excellent flower/leaf ratio. The second phenotype develops in flowering an almost pure sativa expression (so it usually needs about 10 weeks of flowering), reaching big sizes and producing a more open and separate branching from the main trunk, allowing the autoflowering growers to experience with very sativa african phenotypes, quite rare in current autoflowering strains. The terpene profiles are fragrant and complex. The aromas in flowering can vary between Petit Suisse and strawberry yogurt, and fruity juice (pineapple, pear, peach) in the better yielding green sativa/indica phenotypes. The most extreme sativa phenotypes have woodier aromas and a longer flowering time.

Ace Seeds Autoflowering Malawi x Northern lights Diary week two 9th Feb 2020 Well as I updated in last weeks entry , One of my seedlings got eaten by something unknown 💀 The surviving plant however is on her 4th day since sprouting and is looking good. She has those thin sativa like leaves and I can see another set developing plus another tiny set under that one. It currently gets LED light for 2 hours in the morning then natural sunlight for about 10 hours then 6 hours of LED light again followed by 6 hours of Darkness inside a grow tent. I think I will wait until the new sets of leaves that are developing (see above) are complete before moving her into the bigger pot for growout. Cheers for checking out my diary 👍 Grey_Wolf

ACE Seeds Autoflowering Malawi x Northern Lights Diary Update 16th Feb 2020 Well this girl is 11 days old not as tall as I would of hoped but oh well. She's also still in the grow plug as I'm waiting on some of those Airpots to try out. They should be here soon so I'll keep her where she is for now. Gave her a first feeding yesterday of some half strength superthrive and seaweed solution. Other than that she gets natural sunshine and LED light for over 16 hours a day. ACE Seeds Malawi x NL Auto 23rd Feb 2020 This girl is 18 days since germination but still looks bloody small 😐 I topped her at the 4th node but probably should have waited for a bit longer ?? Time will tell. I look at others diaries and their plants at the same age are like a foot high wtf am I doing wrong?? Anyway atleast it's still alive and growing so I won't complain too much. So now its been topped I'll now wait for new growth so I can begin the LST training. Other than that I can't do anything else to make it grow faster than I already am. It gets 18 hours of Light , temps around the 24c humidity 60 odd % not overwatering or over feeding but still not thriving Like I would have liked. Thanks for stopping By 👍

ACE Seeds Malawi x Northern Lights Auto Day 25 from germination 1st March 2020 Finally she is growing 😊 and ready to begin some LST training. The topping I performed last week went well and I should be able to get all 4 branches tied down within the next 7 days. Ive been feeding light mixes of Professors nutes , seaweed solution and Fulvic acid and will introduce her to some compost/worm casting teas this week . This plant sits directly under a Viparspectra LED set on veg mode (channel 1 ) for 20 hours on and 4 off. Can't think of anything else to add so I will leave it at that. ACE Seeds Malawi x Northern Lights Auto 8th March 2020 Welcome Back it's now Day 32 since Germination and she is Moving into Full stretch and early flowering . Hopefully I got enough LST training done so that I can maximise my harvest potential. Ive got her back out in the sun today because the weather is ideal. I reckon a bit of natural sunlight and UV couldn't hurt her and could even be a very good thing actually. Whilst she's outdoors I'll feed her with some Fulvic , Humic and amino acids plus Mycorrhizae and one last mix of Grow Nutes. This should be enough to see her thru the stretch phase hopefully and then she'll start getting more Potassium and Phosphorus for Bud production. ACE Seeds Malawi x Northern Lights Auto 15th March 2020 Day 39 from germination 3/15/20 The stretch on this plant is full on thanks to the Malawi genetics. It's growing just like a typical sativa does with long branches and internodal length. It smells good and will no doubt get better as time goes on . Ive started to add Monsta bud to the feed schedule and will now stop any further grow mix as the Monsta bud does have a little Nitrogen in it which should be enough for her. The Bloody shit weather has returned here so no more sunshine for this girl for now as she will remain in the Tent under the LEDs atleast for the time being. Ace Seeds Malawi x Northern Lights Auto 22nd March 2020 Day 46 From germination What a Stretchy Bitch 😆 You can see which genetics are at play here 😉 Just after I took the first pics I decided to use HST to bend the two tallest colas only as a last resort because they were touching the lights and physically pushing against them . ******Note To potential growers of this strain Consider Height ******* Ive given two light feeds as she doesn't seem to be wanting anything too much. ACE Seeds Malawi x Northern Lights Auto 4 weeks of flowering completed 29th March 2020 Welcome back to my first ACE seeds grow. She is growing as well as can be expected for a sativa dominant variety. The buds are covered in nice healthy white pistils but no real noticeable smell yet. Ive been feeding aprox 5 Litres every two days with either Monsta bud or liquid potassium and mollasses. No more sunny days here for the time being so she stays inside the grow tent all day. Ph is stable @ 6.5 and other than that nothing else to report so i'll see you all next week. Thanks for Reading 👍

ACE Seeds Malawi x Northern Lights Auto Day 59 From germination 5 weeks of Flowering Completed 5th april 2020 Welcome Back Everyone 😀 Hope you are all keeping safe and well 👍 My ace Seeds malawi x Nl auto is doing well the buds are filling in now and the smell is very sativa like with it's piney smell. They had a day out in the sun yesterday but today is cold so in the tent she will stay. Been giving feeds every two days as she is seeming to need it . ACE Seeds Malawi x Northern Lights Auto Day 66 from Germination 12th April 2020 Happy easter Everybody 😀🙏 Well this little lady has had 6 weeks of flowering now and is looking like she is hitting her peak right about now . I have no idea how long this strain takes to finish so i'll just let her keep doing it's thing. The one change that was made this week was that both her and the other auto plant I'm growing got the boot from my growtent to make room for the little seedlings I have growing. So that means that they are only both getting around 11-12 hours of daylight each day now instaed of the 20 they were getting. I'm not fussed at all as I have already harvested over 2 pound this year and I have lots more drying so yield isn't a major factor for me at this time . ACE Seeds Malawi x Northern Lights Autoflowering Day 72 from germination 19th April 2020 So here we are just over 10 weeks since I popped this seed 😃 It's been such an easy plant to grow I pretty much just let her do her own thing. I think I will leave her go for 1 more week then harvest. I still have another seed left so if the end result is as good as it looks I will probably start another one 😁 I am only feeding her molasses and water now ph 6.4 soil temps dropped to 17 celcius although I did measure in the morning not afternoon . ACE Seeds Malawi x Northern Lights Autoflowering Harvest 29th April 2020 Well thats it folks the Malawi x Northern lights Auto from ACE Seeds is all trimmed and in the jars. I'm extremely happy with the quality of this stuff , it's real killer smoke 👌 The Plant was a piece of piss to grow (which means very easy 😉) No dramas at all. It responded well to the LST and Topping I used and grew quite vigorously thruout it's 12 week life cycle. Ive given this one a 10/10 because it kicks my ass 😁 and was such a pleasure to grow. I still have another seed from ACE seeds so I will definately pop it soon . Maybe next grow I'll get the more Northern lights pheno expression with the big swollen calyxes 😛 I'd like to thank all of you for following and liking my updates each week , Take care Grey_Wolf 👍
