Welcome to my 3rd Grow adventure 👋😊
This will be again a 100% organic grow. No synthetic fertilizers or other chemicals !!!
It directly started in a good way because there was an extra seed in one of the packs and all seeds germinated after 2,5 days.
For germinating i use a heated mini greenhouse, "Eazy Plugs" and mixture of water and "BioHealth TH BS WSG"
"BioHealth TH BS WSG" is a blend of selected Trichoderma harzianum strains, Bacillus subtilis, humic acids and seaweed extract. When I potted the Eazy Plugs into the Airpots, i put some Biotabs Mycotrex into the planting hole. The Soil is the new "Guanokalong Complete Mix" that contains more Guano than the old one. Hope it will be fine for the small plants.
8 days since i planted the Eazy Plugs into the Airpods and everything looks fine so far. 👍😊
Its nice that all seeds popped out at the same day. Only one plant is a little bit smaller than the others and the tallest measures around 10cm now.
I guess next week the plants will have a decent size and the roots will be established enough, that i will put them into bigger pots.
Day 16
I just bought a AutoPot system for my girls and they moved to the new home today. 😍
The Substrate is a mix of Coco, Soil, FLO fertilizer and 50% Perlite. I added some mycorrhiza into the plantinghole and watered the plants with some additives. I will wait now for 1-2 week, to allow the roots to establish before i turn on the AutoPot system.
Day 20
Today i topped the Girls over the 5th node. Next week i will do another topping and defoliation session.
FLO Superfood 5L is a BIO fertilizer for growth and flowering. Rich in macro and micro nutrients, enzymes, humic and fulvic acids, amino acids, silicates, calcium, magnesium, fungus and beneficial bacteria.

One tip: To improve the fertilizer effect, mix Flo with the substrate for 7 days before use.
This week i will use some techniques to get the plants to a nice shape. 😊
Day 24
Everything looks fine so far and today i trained the girls a little bit.
Day 25
I topped the plants again and will defoliate tomorrow.
It was time to get rid of some leaves. After i shaved the girls, i used some LST to get a nice shape. Now i am going to a Business Trip for 12 days and i am very excited how the plant will look like after i return.
Day 37
It was the first time since i start growing, that i traveled for 9 days and the AutoPot system did a great job. The Plants looking good so far and i switched to 12/12 now.
Day 40
The girls are stretching already a lot, so I installed the ScrOG net today.

The girls drinking like crazy (around 60 L this week) 🍻 🍺 😝 I think its time to give them some more food. This week i will start to use the Bio Tabs Bio PK 5-8 and Biohum Aminobest and next week i will start to brew the Bio Tabs Compost Tea.
The girls still stretching a lot but i think i got them under control and it will be a nice bud carpet in a few days. End of the week it will be time for a heavy defoliating session 😎
It was about time for some heavy Defoliation. Looks a bit empty now but i am sure in 7 days it will be full house again. 😎
The girls will get now every week "Bio Tabs PK Booster Compost Tea" and some "Bio Tabs - Bio PK 5-8" as well.
The girls flowering full power now and drinking like crazy. The Water usage with the Autopots is way higher than before but the humidity is lower. Very Impressive ! 🙌😊
I cut down the amount of fertilizers a bit because the girls showing small signs of overfeeding. 👻
Today i changed the position of the Flex 20 lights because the lower buds wasn't getting enough light. Generally the amount of buds is already quite nice and they look still like in a very early state of the development. Now the interesting time is going to beginn and i am looking forward to the next weeks...

The Bud development is still very nice but 2 plants have some little problems. First i thought it was overfeeding but now i think its maybe overwatering. I stoped watering with the AutoPot System for 3 days and the problem was not getting worse. Then i started watering with the AutoPots for 3 days again and the problem started to getting worse. What do you guys think ?
This girls definitely need more time than 60-70 days of flowering. I think after the regular flowering time, i will give them an extra 2 weeks with the UV-B light. 😎
During the last week i defoliated the plants again and the lower buds getting better light now. We also wanne harvest down there only rockhard nuggets and no popcorn buds. 😜
The Mainbuds still growing strong and also the small nuggets are developing nicely. The defoliation last week really helped a lot to get better light to the small nuggets and they response with increasing the trichomes a lot. 😍 After 70 days i will start with the UV-B lights for the final 2 weeks of flowering. 😎
It looks like the girls slowly coming to an end of their lifespan. 👻
I have spotted the first amber trichomes here and there and i think its the right time to start with the uv-b penetration. I will start tomorrow with 1 hour of uv-b light and raise it up to 4 hours per day. 😎
The colors starting to fade now and i think i will cut them down end of next week. The UV-B Light is running for 4 hours per day now and it is pushing the trichomes nicely into overdrive. I experience again, that the plants reacting very quickly to the ub-b light. Also the Buds starting to get a bit of purple colors here and there.
Last photos before i switched the lights off. The girl looking really ready now and i will cut them down after 24 hours of darkness. The small sample Buds from last week are dried now and have an amazing fruity haze smell. l will smoke some of them during the harvest. 😜
This strain is absolutely easy to grow and have a huge yield potential. I got 2 phenotypes with very different smell. The first Phenotype have a very hazy smell and the second one have a very sweet fruity berry smell with hints of OG.
The effect is defenitly sativa dominant and i would discribe it as uplifting and energetic.

It was totally 656g of dry buds and 15g iceolator hash. I definitely have enough weed until the next harvest. I'm very happy with the outcome, especially because it's the first time i was using the Autopot System. I made some small mistakes and see already some things i can improve at the next run. 😋
The root development was much stronger than with the fabric pots and as we all know: More roots = more fruits. 😜
The combination of the FLOrganics fertilizer with the Biotabs products worked very well and i will use it this way again. 👌
The Sanlight Q4W proved one more time to be an outstanding grow light and the Flex20s did a great job on the lower area. There are absolutely no Popcorn Buds. 👏
Last but not least the California Lightworks UV-B lights smashed it again. It's insane to see how the trichomes went into overdrive already after the first days of use. The UV-B lights have together just 50W and running for maximum 4 hours per day, but the impact is realy strong. Highly recomended if you can get your hands on it ! 👊

yeah unfortunately we can´t change the whole lamp and it was never meant like this.
Thing is that when we started the Q-Series and implemented the upgrade service, we haven´t thought that we´ll be introducing new features like the dimmer and different drivers (to be able to dimm the light). As our philosophy was to keep the product simple and avoid sources for errors (to have a good lifetime), but the pressure became big and more and more people were asking for dimmers (also in bigger applications). So we implemented it and had to go for different drivers.
There will be more generations coming and we will try our absolut best, to make it interchangeable with the older versions. But again, only the modules.
So what yet makes no sense, maybe becomes more interesting in the future.
It´s only very hard to estimate, where the technologie will go. And different technologies have different problems for example some led technologies need more cooling (bigger aluparts) than others.
Write me a mail on support@sanlight.com and I´ll send you simulations for 1m². Most homogeneous setup for sure will be 2 lamps (not 3). If money doesn´t matter (and energy consumption neither). I´d go for 2 x Q5W and 2 dimmers.
But as mentioned, drop me a mail, if you´re interested in specific informations and simulations.

My crop took over 10 weeks from pistils showing before maturing and had to do it in two harvest as the bottom wasn't ready for a further 2 weeks after the initial canopy harvest.

Totally makes sense ! 👌 Unfortunately i can dry only in the grow tent right now. In the future i will change my set up to two smaller growspaces, one mother space, one vegitation space and a drying space. 😜
@Trichome_threshold, either way - you'll always have the option to harvest in stages if need be. I found harvesting in stages really made the whole harvesting experience much better personally for me - the handling, drying, trimming, manicuring and curing were all so much more enjoyable :) it will be a big harvest for you!! Regarding your water problem i can definitely recommend the airdomes, these are awesome and pump air right into the root zone. They make a big difference.
In absence of them, I regularly shut off the res. This allows the medium to dry enough which invites air into the medium, and allows for more vigorous growth.
Alternatively I find in veg, I can turn off the Res for a good few days, again this encourages air in the rootzone and a more noticeable growth rate.
Just keep an eye and keep test the dryness of the soil. And the weight of the pots. You don't want it to dry out completely as the organic nutrients need some moisture.
When I top feed, I turn off the Res for 24 / 48 give the feed then I leave the Res off for a other 24/ 48 hours.

I only have the 8.5 liter pots and that's why I was a little stingy with the drainage layer. 😑
Good idea to replace the bubble pipes with some air stones. 👍 Those pipes don't look very trustful to use them very often.
Do you use the airdomes only when the light is on or also at night?

I completely covered the airdomes with clay pebbles, 6 or 7 cm with 15 liter pots. I also made extra holes in each of the 4 blue bubble pipes, just for that extra airflow. Maybe next grow i wil use airstones to replace the bubble pipes.

Thanks a lot for your input ! Actually i am using the Airdomes already. I think the Problem was, that my drainage layer was not big enough and i didnt turned off the Res. long enough before/after top feeding. Now i switch off the Res. from time to time, and the problem didnt get worse.
How much drainage layer you use ? I used arround 1" (2.5cm) and will go for 2" (5cm) next time.

Lucky you. FYI you'll get a lot of stretch therefore account for your plants to double in size and you'll be searching for space lol. You won't be disappointed with this strain 👍

@Trichome_threshold, it was Barney's. I looked at a number of online diaries and there were lots of different pheno types around. Either way - should be a great smell for you!

Looking very very nice.. and I can tell you - the harvest is should to be incredibly wonderful to smell - I had the strawberry smell come on real strong after harvest! and the smoke just blows me away still! Enjoy this beautiful strain 👌

@Trichome_threshold, yes it was very much like a sativa - only one was the strawberry whilst the other was the CBD Critical Cure. The strawberry didn't really have a scent until it was drying and to this day opening the jars is just bliss :) smokes harsher than most but it's real knockout gear ... you can collect resin whenever handled - just everywhere :) I have two more seeds and I do hope they are of similar pheno types 😁
