LED Light Intensities
Recommended LED PPF/PAR Values / DLI Based on 20 hrs of light.
Seedlings 150 - 200 umoles / DLI 10.80 - 14.4 moles per day
Veg up to 9" 450 umoles / DLI 32.40 moles per day
Early bloom 500 umoles / DLI 36.00 moles per day
Mid bloom 650 umoles / DLI 46.80 moles per day
Late bloom 750 umoles / DLI 54.00 moles per day
Ripen 400 umoles / DLI 28.80 moles per day
*** Use extreme caution going 700 umoles or higher @ 20 hrs/day this could cause leaf burn***
PPF measures the total amount of PAR emitted from the lighting system per second.
PAR is the amount of light in the 400 - 700 nm color spectrum that can actually be used by the plant.
PAR does not measure the amount of UV and Infrared that plays a part in trichome formation and cell quality.
DLI is the total amount of PAR the plant has received per day
Our goal is to have a minimum DLI in the 38-40 mole range when it bloom.

Having your plants in the optimum LVPD(Leaf Vapor Pressure Deficit) ranges helps them absorb Co2 to properly conduct photosynthesis and allows the root system to adequately utilize water and nutrients. Using average leaf temperature is the best way to calculate LVPD. Measure this temperature using an infrared thermometer.
LED lights tend to have leaf temperatures lower than atmospheric temperatures in the grow room. Growers using HID, Fluorescent bulbs typically will have temperatures higher than room temperature. With HPS leaf temperature can be 8 - 10 F higher than room temperatures due to the amount of infrared emitted by the bulb.
Recommended LVPD
Seedlings/Early Veg 0.4 - 0.8 kPa
Late Veg/Early Bloom 0.8 - 1.2 kPa
Mid/Late Bloom 1.2 - 1.6 kPa
*** Danger Zone*** Below 0.4 kPa / Over 1.6 kPa

WEEK 1 UPDATE
Trying out Rocbud for the first time very impressed with the ease and speed of receiving my order very professional. Received some nice samples of Si 28 and P 31 Microbes along with a few extra seeds with the order 👍👍 for Rocbud.
Picture perfect start all seeds popped and sprouted quickly. All four are showing nice fast even signs of strong growth. Dropped my light down to 24 inches on day 6. Expect to see some nice growth for week 2. My daytime temps are running about 80 F with 73 F nighttime temps. The temps listed above are not correct even after changing it and saving it keeps going back to 50 F. GD fix this issue please.
WEEK 2 UPDATE
Another amazing week of nice even growth. All plants are growing very uniformly with nice short inter-node growth showing some nice wide Indica looking leaves at this point. Started a light feeding on day 10 and another on day 14 using about a pint or 1/2 liter of solution over the top layer of soil.
Checked moisture levels deeper in the pot using digital moisture meter showing the soil is retaining optimal moisture for root growth.
Dropped my lights down to 20 inches on day 14. Humidity running 65%.
WEEK 3 UPDATE
Another outstanding week of growth.
Started LST near the end of the week. She was pretty stiff so I slightly bent the tip over and will repeat in a few days. Seems better to do it in stages rather than risk snapping her. She was starting to recover literally in only a matter of hours turning her fan big leaves back toward the light full recovery over night. Had to tuck a few fan leaves in the morning to get those growth tips as much light as possible. The lower fan leaves are already the size of my hand. Looks like she wants to start her stretch soon. Contemplating running my lights 24/7 during stretch to lower the day/night temperature difference to hopefully keep her from stretching too much. Put my G8 light to about 18 inches above tops.
Showed her first pistils on day 17 which was impressive. See some roots starting to poke out the bottom of the pots right on schedule.👍
One plant had a slight hooking starting on the very tips of the leaf blades so they received R.O. water with cal/mag day 17, then a light feeding day 21. I still have not watered to the point of run off. If I see no signs of tip clawing or other issues I will stick to an alternating water then feed type schedule. Looking forward to week 4 I will give her the first watering to the point of slight run off just to get a ph and ppm reading to see where I stand.
WEEK 4 UPDATE
Starting to stretch showing more complex pre-flowers so I'm calling this week as veg. Interestingly the leaves are now looking more like a Sativa compared to week 3. I'm running my veg lights 24/7 hoping to prevent day/night temperature swings to help manage my stretch a bit more. LST work continued to move branches to optimal positions tucking and pulling larger fan leaves to the rear.
They all got R.O. water with Rhizotonic and Cal/Mag then ended the week with a nice flush since I've seen some yellow tips on a few leaves. Run off was over 1850 ppm took them down to well under 1000 ppm. Looks like my soil mix is too hot for these girls will have to increase my coco coir percentage next grow and hold off on any nutrients until they are truly needed. Hopefully I got it in time to prevent any real damage to the root system.
WEEK 5 UPDATE
Wow, what a stretch looks like she's almost done pushing my set up to the limits.
More than ample inter-node distance should let plenty of light to the buds sites. Absolutely stunning form on this girl. I continued to pull the largest fan leaves to the rear and sides of the main cola and tuck a few here and there.
End of the week started removing the lowest older fan leaves and micro bud sites. Started implementing slight stress by giving the stems a slight bend (30-40 degrees) using my half-cropping technique.
Fired up the bloom lights end of the week and cut back to 20/7.
A few of the lower/middle fan leaves are showing a magnesium deficiency the leaf stems are reddish while the leaves not showing the deficiency have green stems. I've come to the conclusion the magnesium deficiency is being caused by an excess of calcium. I will lower my cal/mag dose next week, supplement with Epsom salt (Magnesium sulfate) and try raising my ph closer to 6.5
Gave them a nice nutrient feeding then alternating with applications of P31 microbes, LABS (Lactic Acid Bacteria Serum) and Organic Blackstrap Molasses. I've also started using a wet then dry type watering cycle to induce additional slight stresses during bloom.
She's already starting to give off a nice diesel smell announcing herself to me as soon as I walk in the house.
Looking forward to week 6, I'll be introducing higher light/PAR values which will force the plant to protect itself by producing more trichomes over the next few weeks up to harvest.

WEEK 6 UPDATE
My tallest girl topped out at 36". Buds are slowly developing a more complex shape.
After dealing with a magnesium deficiency showing up which I believe is being caused by an excess of calcium I've cut back on my cal/mag and slipped in some Epsom salt. I'm adding in some Armor Si to naturally raise the ph of my feeding solution up to 6.5. From the looks of my run off ph from the pots I'm dealing with a low ph situation considering it's going in at 6.5 then coming out at 5.9 which could also be contributing to nutrient absorption issues.
They received 2 feedings and one application of LABS at the end of the week. Run off after feeding is running slightly over 1000 ppm with a ph of 5.9
Hitting them with 240 watts with my G8 bloom light about 650-750 umole according to my PAR meter. Giving me 60 watts per square foot.
Trying to keep temperatures under 80 F has been challenging so I'm using my summer time light schedule of lights off at 11:00 am through 3:00 pm during the hottest times of day.
WEEK 7 UPDATE
Pretty basic week with a feed then LABS application then another feeding ending the week. Cranking out some light on these girls they seem to be soaking it up well showing only some slight light burn starting on the fan leaves in the upper cola.
WEEK 9 UPDATE
Steady as she goes!
They are very thirsty and feeding nicely. Fit in 2 feedings with one watering at the end of the week to check my run off ppm which is running around 1100 ppm.
Starting to see some calyx starting to plump up nicely on one plant. She will be getting a flush at some point in week 9. Frost factor is OMFG on this girl.
Trying to squeeze in one or two more feedings on the rest of the girls. Looks like it will be a slightly staggered harvest. Slightly sweet yet heavy fuel odor permeating my house.
I will try to spend more time on taking photos for week 9.
WEEK 10 UPDATE
These girls are getting plain R.O. water. Looking to harvest around day 75 would like to see a few more ambers show up. The buds are getting very heavy causing the skinniest branches to bend over on a couple of plants. The calyx are huge they are all plumped up like a bunch of grapes. Should be a easy harvest. Smell is serenading my whole house.
