WILLIAMSII_Fr_Farm I started germinating the Durban Poison yesterday at 10 AM in water and acti-vera. I took them out 24 hours later to put them in cotton, and they broke through the shell a few hours later.
Day 1, here we go, it's on for the Durban Poison, I'll keep only the prettiest of the two. 👌
Day 2, light watering with clear water this morning.
Day 6, everything is going well, the Durban are developing normally.

WILLIAMSII_Fr_Farm Day 8, the young ones are entering their 2nd week. The Durban Poison are doing well and are hitting their 3rd node. 👍
Day 11, the choice is going to be tough, both are beautiful with the first one being more advanced but with less stable characteristics (the first nodes are very deformed), and for the second, having 1 day less, it’s a bit less advanced but with genes that seem more stable. Primary branches are appearing on both plants.
I think I’ll go for the second one which should give me a more robust plant. (the plant at the top of the photo)
Day 13, separating the plants to keep only the biggest one, as I realize while growing that the second has the same characteristics but is 1 day behind, with the same split leaf and also the same folds at the leaf tips. The selection was very simple, I kept the one that is 1 day older and a bit taller, I put it in the tent on 12/12 under the COB LEDs. The second will stay outside and do what it does by the end of summer.

WILLIAMSII_Fr_Farm Day 53, first watering with "PK 13/14" that I don't have. And to remedy that, I'm doubling my bio bloom to 8ml/L. I'm also reducing my nitrogen inputs and cutting the bio grow down to 2ml/L.
Day 54, the Durban Poison is doing very well and is preparing some nice flowers that have started to gain volume. 🤘😜

Day 64, nothing changes, except the size of the buds which keeps increasing, increasing, and increasing again! 👍😎
Otherwise, still the same dosage of nutrients, I kept it at 1ml of bio grow because it still has a long way to go to reach the end of its flowering.
Day 68, 👌😜

Day 82, the buds are reaching their final size, the calyxes on top are swelling nicely. The cola is the width of a 1L biobizz bottle. I’ll take a photo for the next update. 💪👊😜

WILLIAMSII_Fr_Farm Day 86, the Durban Poison is maturing slowly, I need to check but it’s not yet at 10% (or around there) so I still have time before the harvest. But I will still examine it regularly, just in case the maturation speeds up.
Day 88, the flowers of the main bud have swollen nicely as you can see, and I just need to keep an eye on the trichomes. I think it will be ready in about a week.
Day 89, you can see in some photos that some leaves around the cola are yellowing and wilting, so that means it’s starting to draw on its reserves.
Day 91, I planned to cut the cola today, but I had to do it 2 days earlier due to a dehumidifier issue. In fact, the cola was starting to soak up water and was on the verge of mold. So I opened the Bud to see the damage, which wasn’t that bad. I still removed the heart to avoid damaging the rest. In the end, I think I lost about 4/5g, but I could have lost the rest if I hadn’t noticed. I also checked the other flowers, they are nice and firm and haven’t been affected.
I did this in a hurry and I don’t have any photos of the cola to show you. Sorry.
So I was saying:
Day 91, the issue is now resolved and the rest of the Durban is finishing maturing since this incident.
I think I’ll take it down tomorrow or the day after.

WILLIAMSII_Fr_Farm Not many issues while growing the Durban. I had to top it due to the risk of mold because it's very humid where I live, and my electric dehumidifier malfunctioned. I lost a big part of the cola that was waterlogged at the core and on the verge of molding. So for safety, I removed all the core of the cola and dried what wasn't at risk of spoiling.
In the end, I was able to keep 25g of Durban; it was big and bulky, but it lost a lot during drying. Without this humidity issue, it would have been a plant with around thirty grams.
@Weedseedsexpress, yes, it's done! They started off really well in 24 hours in water with added acti-vera biobizz, I put them in a cotton ball soaked with the water they were in. They were cracking their shells a few hours later, and I immediately put them in their cups. 👌
