Switched the lights to 12/12. I was running out of advanced nutrients 3 part base nutrients so I ended up switching to Remos micro/bloom base. Just due to the cost difference. Most of my other nutrients are from the advanced lineup. But as I use them up, I will be switching to Remo nutes.
Day 6: I defoliated a bunch of large fan leafs and moved some plants around the scrog to spread them out.
This is also my first time with hydroponics and my second time growing. My setup is a RDWC system that I built myself. I am very happy with the growth rate so far.
BC Big Bud:
Added advanced nutrients big bud to the nutrients. Plants have been stretching for almost 2 weeks but I think they are finally starting to move into bud production.
I have defoliated quite a bit of fan leafs and everything under the scrog. Still defoliating a bit here and there. Mostly for the air flow.
I noticed some leaf ends are pointing down like a nutrient lock. I'm thinking its because mt PH was raised a bit high. Hopefully they are going to be okay.
The plants finally stopped stretching. They definitely doubled in size since the flip. Buds are now in production and some of the fan leafs are getting a little frosty.
Hoping they dont stretch any higher, cause thats as high up as the light is gonna get.
I'm still defoliating every other day, removing most of the large fan leafs and whatever seems over crowded.
Buds are forming coming in. Looking promising! 5 weeks to go i'm guessing.
Nutrients are the same pretty much this week, topping up with fresh PH water with some hygrozyme whenever the water looks low in my rez.
Still defoliating. I added a small fan for a bit extra air movement.
Just doing there thing. I have not given them too much attention this week. Just refilling the res with ph fresh water. Next week will another nute change
Buds are developing. Had to raise the light again, the taller shoots were showing signs of light stress
Have not really touched the plants much, still just topping off the reservoir. Getting some burnt tips, but i'm not exactly sure why. I'm thinking it might be PH imbalance. ppms are sitting around 1000, not super high. Also I believe these plants would have benefited a bit more with a larger light, and I should have defoliated a bit more.
But other than that, I feel harvest is only a month away
Week 7 over already, buds getting a bit larger. One plant seems to be having some troubles developing any larger sized colas. Probably just gonna be a hash plant.
Entering week 8, only 1 or 2 left before harvest!
End of week 8 and I think harvest is coming soon. Will be flushing with just water. Trichromes looking mostly cloudy, not to many amber ones yet. But this will probably be my last submission before harvest
