Switched to GH flora 3 part. Playing around with flood times. The are taking up water at an exponential rate. Started with 3, 3 minute floods, up to 6, 4 minute floods and they're still drying up the puddles within an hour. Plant 1 is ahead of plant 2 by a day but it is half the size🤷‍♂️ Topped day 16. Not obvious in the photos as I had hoped but they bounced back within minutes Thank to evryone who gave their input, every little bit helps🙌 After all your suggestions, I've, backed off the light, backed off the flood time and count. We will see if these girls perk up a little more👍 Day 17 I noticed progression of what I believe to be a calcium deficiency? That's on me, forgot the calmag originally🤦‍♂️ another thing I decided to look into was the twisting of the leaves as the plant 1 is also starting to show. Could my ph be alot higher than I think? 4 gal res I added a couple ml of phosphoric acid at the start and about 1ml a day since(I didnt prep my cube as well as I should of) seems like alot to me. The system would rise from 5.3 to 6.3 throughout the day. A flood cycle doesnt seem to affect the ph, more over time. I am constantly stirring the mix and no my meter is not yet calibrated. I have ordered what I need but I'm considering calibrating with the chemicals I have and doing a res change. Good news is, they do seem a little more lifelike after implementing all your suggestions. Okay drained and rinsed my res, ro water into the tank was holding 6.97ph, good enough for the girls I go out with🤷‍♂️ gonna mix up a batch, do a top feed to waste, and see what happens. It has been nearly 24h since my last flood. Also, struggling with lows of 30% humidity sometimes. Dont know if that plays a role here. Okay something was off.. I did a top feed to waste with fresh 5.3 nutes and the runoff came out at 7.5.. so I did it again...and again...maybe a half doesnt times to each block with no change. I started to reuse the runoff as I wrote off the batch at this point. I then switched to a pump and did recirc feed to each block aprox 20 litres at a time, stopping to rebalance. Literally 100s of litres later I am stable at 5.5....going to drain rinse and refill. The interesting part is that what ever was saturated in those blocks is non conductive, the ec didnt change the entire time🤷‍♂️ Spent the next couple days recovering. Looking better now. Sardine catcher installed.

Hi there! One thing I notice is that your light looks very close for such young plants. The manufacturer recommends 24 inches above seedlings, and in my opinion that's still pretty close. I'd try to put it at 30 inches above them to start and I would guess they will perk up. When doing flood and drain with rockwool you either need to flood to the top of the block, or do a manual top feed to waste once a week. This is because salts will build up in the block at the flood line and need to be washed out once a week. Last year I did a flood and drain grow with 6 inch pargro rockwool cubes and even in flower I only flooded once a day. I think you need to let those cubes dry out more so that roots fill the blocks when dryback occurs. After the plants fully root into the cubes it will be harder to overwater them. Good luck!

What should I do about this kink? It appears to be a pinch point. I intend to scrog. Do I right the stem? Or let it grow 10degrees out? I would like it to be vertical for scrogging, however I do not want to retard growth. Plant is small as it is. Beginning to lignify, do I stop?

Let it be. If you try to "rectify" it, you are likely to kill or at least severely harm the plant.

I want to clone the lowest two branches, to have acess to my tray. I plan to scrog with two main branches and use off-branches to fill my triangle. Will the two branches be able to fill how I have planned? Can I clone those branches without stressing the plant too much?

Yes you can do both. It will just take a bit longer for the 2 branches to fill the canopy, but it can be done.

Damnit. Day 29 of flower showing dual sex on one plant. I have read and understand the basics, looking to see what you guys think. I can't feasibly separate the plants and I cant think of any cause. I did give them 34 hours of dark but that was 4 weeks ago. Advice?

Hello.. Hope you are well..thats a real shame.. Ur girls look nice and healthy!.. Ive never heard of giving plants a stretched nite period to force flowers or anything tbh.. Personally i wudnt try this technique again as this may have bin the cause of the stress n why she hermed?? .. Just keep ur eyes on her and try to pick off as many male pods as u can see.. If numbers are low u can get away with low chances of finding seeds in ur grinder.. If she/he starts to produce alot of them then i wud say to cut him out completely and let ur other plant benefit from space n sole use of lite.. U dont want both plants full of seed n no buds of weed.. Check her 2-3times a day if possible.. Stay safe n gud luck with your garden.. 👍🍀

Solid system 👍 Topping up with plain water, letting pH drift and flushing weekly sounds like a recipe for success! Plants looking great 👌

Very good, interesting first grow you have going here. A few things I noticed: -Your humidity is too low, look into how VPD affects plant growth. - I say you need releasable clips to fasten stems to that net; look at Week 5 of my EasyBud diary you'll see small clips I used. -Your net will be a learning exp. You risk having the plant push it up later in flower. If you remove the net later, you lose the spread of colas. -You have to recalibrate meters often and Rockwool makes ph rise quite a bit.

@@@Rheaun, Thanks for your comment Unfortunately my humidity is at the mercy of the elements for now, good news is spring has sprung and it's on the rise. I will be able to hold it at 55 soon. Bag clips huh, what about weaving? Also, if I have to anchor or support from the top later on I will do so. I dont intend on having this net removable. Once the branches are woven, shes in place till harvest. I am following lbh's famous scrog tutorial🙌 cheers

Amazing setup, i love to see growers playing around with ideas and techniques!!! Wish to see a time lapse of flood, if you could, please!! And I do give a suggestion to you, Calcium carbonate, easy to find and pretty useful as Calmag on Hydro! Wish you a great grow!! I'll be following! Have a Shroom!1!!!!!1 🙌
