I'm very happy to be starting this one! I will update more over the next few days as she germinates and I get it potted. Will be using a 5 gallon air pot this time around.
Starting to see some nice daily growth on this girl, she seems to be adjusting just fine to the gradual increase in nutrients. One more feeding at this concentration and I will ramp it up to full strength veg nutes for a couple feedings until I see some calyx/pistil development.
My Alien vs Triangle is looking nice and healthy, I can see new growth every day now. Up to full strength nutes on this last feeding and seems to be responding nicely.
I was poking around Mephisto's website and came across their grow guide. I am going to get a few things, make a few adjustments and try it out. Seems to work good for them, at the very least I'll take what works and apply it my own process.
Seeing nice progress with the Alien vs Triangle this week, about 7" overall growth over the past seven days. Everything is looking lush and healthy. I did a pre-flower flush the other day and switched over to bloom nutes and she has been blowing up since.
Another 9" of growth this week... every time I look at her she's bigger lol. I haven't really done anything to this one, a little defoliating down under.. otherwise I'm gonna let her go wild and see what happens. I recently added a Co2 bag to the tent, so I'm hoping this girl gets some benefit from it.
Rapidly running out of room in the tent again, My Blue Cheese is a couple days from the chop and my AvT and Gorilla Glue are starting to consume more and more space every day.
Seems as though the stretch is slowing down a bit now. 7" this past week, but I don't think we'll see much more. Bud formation is well underway. I love how even the canopy is for never having any training. All the top colas are within three or four inches in height compared to the main cola, I hope it stays this way and just keeps filling in.
Looks like I've had my lights too close to this one as well, I frickin burnt the whole upper canopy, not too bad but I'm still pissed with myself. It's grown another 5" this week and I just left the lights at the same height all week. Bud production seems slow too, not sure if that's a result of the lights being too close or something else.... could also be right on track, I'm not sure what to say. My Gorilla Glue that is six days younger than this girl has much larger buds already.
I'm sure there's no major damage done. I have to water her tomorrow so I'll check the EC/pH and make sure the coco's in good shape... I've neglected to do this the last few feedings.
Day 51 Update...
The EC reading in my coco was pretty high... around 5.7EC and the pH was really low @ 4.6. I'm not sure why my pH would be so low? Anyway, gave her a bit of a flush and have everything back to normal now. Hopefully she has a quick recovery and starts packing on the bud meat!
I've been seeing some nice progress over the last week. The buds are starting to fatten up, still not as fast or much as I'd like but there's a lot going on there for being less than 60 days old. I love the structure of this plant. Every branch from the lowest on up sits very evenly on the canopy with only the main cola sitting a couple inches higher. The plant has definitely filled it's grow space as you can see with how square it is. I have a 4x2 tent with four plants in it and this beast is easily taking half the tent.
Looking forward to the next couple weeks, I'm thinking this one could pay off pretty decently.
Can't say enough good things about Mephisto, top quality genetics! Just received my Mephisto shipment with Cosmic Queen, Creme de la Chem and Sour Livers so keep an eye out for those diaries real soon.

I stripped the underside pretty good a few days back, kinda late in the game for me to be defoliating to this degree, but I don't think it shocked her much if at all. I should have done it earlier and my buds would probably be bigger than they are today, but it's all good. I'm actually getting excited for the potential harvest size, there are a lot of fat nugs on this girl! Looks like she is gonna up my overall harvest average.
Hammering her pretty good with the Terpinator and PK booster still. She is starting to develop a nice scent, I wanna say there is some pine smell but also smells sort of like green peppers, definitely a change from the last few plants I've grown.
This girl just gets more amazing by the day! She is still barely showing any brown pistils and her trichomes are still a good mix of clear and milky. I'll let her go as long as she needs, but it's looking like at least another week or ten days for sure. The buds are still swelling and have developed a nice smell of pepper and pine, it has a subtle, but very unique scent to it. Can't wait to sample a bit of this bud. I am very impressed with her so far and can't wait to see her all ripe and mature.
Started the flush a few days ago, Probably going to let her go a few more days and take her down this weekend. There has been quite a bit of swelling in the colas the last two days, if that continues I'll wait a bit longer before chopping her. I counted around 18 colas in her upper canopy. I was a bit worried at first as they were all pretty airy and not very dense at all, but they are all filling in now and getting nice and firm.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with the way this one has turned out. It's been a pretty care free grow and she is producing nicely. I have one more of these beans in my bag of tricks and I'll be starting it next week with a couple other Mephisto goodies.
The Alien has landed!! I can't express how happy I am with the outcome of this grow, These are hands down the best free beans I have ever had the pleasure of growing! Top quality genetics and a little TLC produced this big, beautiful lady. It was an easy grow from start to finish, never really had any issues with this one that I can think of, maybe a little light bleaching at one point, but it never really slowed her down.
There were 19 colas total, most of them large and solid... a couple that were smaller and lighter, but I'm not complaining. I ended up with a trimmed bud wet weight of 434.56g and another 93.21g of trim and popcorn for cooking with. She came down on Day 83 from germination. 👽
I think I won this round of Squirrel vs Alien vs Triangle, stay tuned for Round 2 coming soon! Can't say enough good about my first Mephisto experience. Very easy plant to grow. I basically let her go wild, only a bit of defoliating down under and she turned into a beast.
She has a very unique smell of green peppers and spice or something. I can't nail it... hoping the terpines shine through in the finished product and I can nail the profile in my smoke report. Really looking forward to sampling a little bit and seeing what the final outcome is.

Update: Ended up with a respectable 101g dried bud and just shy of an ounce of trim... Enough for a pound of budder. The buds need to cure for a bit, I used my drying rack this time and they dried out pretty quickly... still has kind of a chlorophyll taste. There are definitely hints of spice and pine but it just needs a bit of time to develop. It's quite potent and gives a nice uplifted, spacey high. Very happy overall!

I love all the Mephisto you have going on, That's what my profile is about to look like soon, lots of Mephisto and FastBuds gear on hand! Those guys are gonna keep me busy for a long time. These are about to EXPLODE in the next couple of weeks. You have great structure on them already. The stretch at the beginning of flower is going to make you so happy haha
Thanks @Jaindoh, Really hey? I've not heard of doing that at flip. I ended up leaving it in the dark for 48 hours, but can't really tell if it had any benefit.
@CAMOGROWN, I decided to give the 48 hours of darkness before harvesting a try with my Blue Cheese, I hear a lot of opinions as to whether this has any benefit at all... Sometimes ya just gotta figure this stuff out for yourself. By doing so, I've freed up some space in the tent for the little ladies. Can't wait til the new tent arrives so I can avoid this in the future.

@Jaindoh, I actually just switched over to 3 gallon pots for all my new projects. I've read that 5g is probably overkill for a plant that lives less than three months... wanted to give it a try and see what my results are like in smaller pots. Helps utilise floor space in the tent too... which is quite valuable these days.
@TheOutlawBubbaKush, yep, so close I can almost taste it lol. and yes, it's a bit high. They recommend 10-30ml/g for late phase. I start with the Terpinator early on in flowering at about 6-8ml/g and ramp it up from there. I've been told you can use way more than I'm using with no adverse effects... I've personally never had an issue.
@DougFresh, Yep, sometimes they take a bit longer. Starting to see more brown pistils every day so we're getting there. I fed her today, that'll probably be the last time... I'll wait a few days now and give her a good flush. We'll see how it goes from there. I am in no rush with this one.
@DougFresh, I don't do much to my autos with the exception of some defoliating on the small stuff down under. I do see people LST with their autos but I like to let mine go as natural as possible.
