Put her in a 5gal on day 48. She already stinks compared to Wendy (my purple kush that just finished a few months ago). This girl is gonna be FRAGRANT in flower since she is smelly in veg. I broke another stem while doing my training. She will be okay though.
Heavy defoliation and mainline. Broke another stem. Oh well doing my best here.
Put in the net on day 52 and tied her down a bit more. This gelatOG is resilient and recovers from work quickly. She has lost a lot of limbs and she keeps going on. The shape is obviously off but I suspect some of the lower shoots are going to come up soon to fill in the bald spot.
She got her first ever nutes on day 52 as well. 1.5tsp grow big, 1tsp each big bloom, tiger bloom and CalMag.
Day 57: 1.5 tsp big bloom, and 1 tsp grow big and tiger bloom and 1 tsp CalMag every other watering. Water is every 2-3 days. She’s a thirsty one. Very receptive to training too.
Day60 she got a new humidifier. I haven’t been using it since my other one stopped working towards the end of my last grow. I closed my tent about 10 mins ago and it’s up to 53% now.
The humidity hasn’t been AS bad as when it was younger now that she’s in a bigger pot, but I’m hoping this helps boost it up a little more. I want ideal conditions
61: the humidity was 73% and it was 73 degree Fahrenheit when I checked her today. So I turned the light up from ~60% power to ~80%. I also dropped it from 22” to about 16” light to plant. It seems to be maintaining around 60% and 81 degrees so we shall see.
Heavy and regular defoliation continues. Keep feeding her nutes every other feeding and watering every other day. The humidifier goes 24 hours a day and keeps the humidit a bit in the high side but it hasn’t been a problem. Maybe I’ll kick in my intake fan and see what happens. I removed the net and repositioned the plant with a twist so it can start to fill in the bald spots from broken branches early on.
Used a digital thermometer and was able to confirm that the canopy temperature varies quite significantly from that of the thermometer on the wall inside the tent. The canopy is 71-74 whereas the temperature reader on the wall displayed 81. This made me feel comfortable dropping the light a couple inches.
Finally saw some movement today with her flowing. It is almost week 3 and there are just barely signs of flowering. Probably the heavy defoliation combined with borderline too-hot doses of nutes stressed her out a bit but she has no signs of deficiencies or burns. I covered the tent with a blanket because I also suspect that the tent is not as lightproof as it could be. Overall she seems really happy. I tucked some leaves on day 14.
Keeping her low and wide. She is doing well. Working in the tent is a joy because she is already so sticky and getting a little smelly
She doubled in dankness overnight around f21-22
She loves nutes and training. I’ve been adjusting the light to try to fix the heat issue I have been experimenting. I don’t have a whole lot of time to figure it out before it has a long term negative impact on the terpene content. I’m gonna to keep adjusting it down til I get it to 79
I don’t know if I’m getting anxious or if I stunted her and the colas are not very long but look developed. Hopefully she stretches a bit more
42: I think I was worried for nothing. It seems like it has begun to stretch a bit more.
I don’t know if she is just super frosty in some places (mostly directly under the light) or it is a symptom of PM. Please look at the 2nd to last picture on week 17 (Day 50). This is a sugar leaf but it’s the best example. It looks like snow more than trichomes. Am I trippin?
She looks about ready for chop to me. I’m thinking I’m going to disconnect her light tomorrow morning so it’s dark when I harvest. What does everyone think?
Hey buddy,It’s good for plant putting into dark before harvest. It’s like let them know, it’s their last time.So they will use all the energy they have and blooming max.Happy growing...
Came out great and the smoke test was fantastic. The bud is so sticky that it’s almost inconvenient. I rolled a blunt and had enough resin on my fingers to roll a super tiny ball of finger hash at the end. The smoke is smooth but a hair harsh. I sleep so well after smoking this.
@@ShotGunBob, I use this site on mobile and liking takes a while. Do you know of a faster way? I want to show some love back but It would need to wait til I can get on a desktop if not
Beautiful plant!! Do you believe that it would be better if the net was something harder? Something that don't move at all, like an fence or something.
@Psilocubensis, Thank you very much!
I am not really sure. Even though a more rigid net might hold it more securely, I think it might do damage to the stems or buds if they run into it or get pushed against it.
You can use zip ties to tighten the net too if it’s too loose, or use plant ties to tie the stem to a part of the net that you want it towards and modify the tension of the tie by bending the tie in the center. There are a couple stems in there secured to the net right now
Love your name by the way!

@@SNoWfLaKe420, I swear by it. It’s actually a really simple method. Basically just keeping the plant low and wide. Check out the guide on GrowWeedEasy. They give some really good pointers. Also I’m more than willing to offer advice or help if I can.
