'Tis The Season! The kind guys over at Royal Queen Seeds liked my first diary that I made last year and asked if I would like some more seeds. Well duh! They sent me quite the care package with some dry nutes in them as well. So I thought the first 2 grows this season I will try a little RQS experiment. I have 2 diaries involving this strain running at the moment. One is using the dry nutes that RQS gave me which will be about 40-45g of their Easy Boost which is mixed in the substrate and should last around 11-12 weeks. I also received some tabs to dissolve in water which I will probably use to add some extra during blooming The other is going to be running liquid nutes. Both started off in the same 11L cloth pot (again thx RQS) with plagron lightmix and a plagron seedmix in the middle so I don't have to transplant this time. They both have received root boost. They are currently sitting under 2x36watt tube CFL and window solar power until the outdoor temps are ok for them to survive. Dry germed first but Liquid gained up on him. Second set of leaves are showing and both seem happy as they are 'praying to the sun' I won't name the pics by days this time. CBA. they are in chronological order

My cat didn't like that the liquid feed was gaining grounds on the dry feed so he decided to eat half the plant leveling things out. The plant was a bit stressed by this mauling but is recovering nicely although at a lower rate. Probably because there is less there to photosynthesize with. I also noticed the shade of green was lighter than the dry feed one so I am guessing it was hungry. I probably overestimated the amount of nutes in lightmix from plagron. It said 1-2 weeks but seeing as i thoroughly watered before planting I might have washed some nutes out. Started feeding some things. Just noticed I gave too much silic boost by a tenfold so I might skip that one next feed. Sunlight is starting to be abundant. I run the lights in the morning and evening to get the 18 hours but during the day they are off since the sun is finally there. Bit worried about the soil temp because of the sun and it being behind glass. I started doing some arts and crafts with tin foil and this already dropped temps. Might start up LST next week, we will see how the patient is feeling next week.

Still lagging behind but no chomps on this one this time. Gave a heavy feed somewhere this week. no problems in sight. Started LST as well but not as heavy yet as the other. Hope she picks up some more in the next couple of days. Otherwise nothing really to add except almost 10cm gain. No hairs in sight yet but I expect them in the next few days.

Plant seems to have slowed down tremendously since the last feed. (details in the 3rd week). The plant looks normal and healthy, there are no difficiency indicators whatsoever. It just seems to have started slowing down to a crawl. Any ideas?

Sorry I see no slow Growth. She Looks like she should look.The only Thing that concerns me is the high feeding with Canna terra vega and Calmag… those products got together 5 Percent Nitogen. Thats way to much for such a Young Plant. Your Soil should be rich enough to feed her for 2 Weeks longer . And if you feed take 1ml..... thats enough

So, I think I nuked her with nutes 8 days ago, or I missed with the ph. Something slowed her down but now that she has had almost no nutes last watering she seems to have started up again. She runs about a week behind the dry fed one but has bigger leaves (I bet the other one would have big leaves as well if the tenacious little bitch of a cat didn't always munch on them). If I look up the symptoms on growweedeasy it is most likely nitrogen toxicity. Also thx for the community in helping out. Continued with the LST but I am going to look into a scrog next time. just seems easier to manage. Also wonder if planting the seed on the side of the pot is more easy to manage the verticality of it all.

She keeps getting bushier and bushier. She def is slower, probably still recovering from my fuck up a while ago. Eased up on the nutes for a while but started a low dose again. I think preflower stretch is kicking in or has been kicking in. I saw some pistils and saw some accelerated growth. Hoping to be in flower next week. Moving her outside <> inside during day <> night. Nothing a strong blast of sunlight, although I can't say that for sure because I never owned a pro grow light. First time using any lighting and its something homemade. But it defo did/does the trick if we compare to the run last year. Saw a possible calcium deficiency? I am not sure since I give her calmag and the PH is correct as well. It could be some splash from poolwater because I slapped a bug out of it straight over the plants (ggwp). Hasn't really spread since yesterday so let's hope... Ph runoff on the high side @7.11 though. Might be because of the rhizo that is still in there? Will check next watering.

Last week of veg, switching to flower nutes next week. Lots of pistils showing and she got a nice stretch. Lots of LST again. Keeping her low and wide so all bud sites get adequate sunshine. So she looks a bit like a low bush with branches sticking out in a circle. Leaf tucking all day everyday. Might defoliate the leaves that are causing issues but as long as I can leaf tuck I won't do it. Regarding sunshine: had to keep her inside 2 days because of shitty weather but nothing the windows sill + CFL can't solve. normally don't really check EC this grow but I have te meter so I checked and the runoff is a little on the high side so I will be throwing away the runoff next couple of waterings. ps. if you read this Mrs_Larimar, didn't find a cloth/breathable material and can't get one atm because of the rona, but keeping it in mind for next grow ;)

Good week. Stretch is over and pistils are coming up everywhere. Some are already getting brown but bud formation isn't there yet. I am expecting this to happen in the next week. Still some issues with PH, PPM. Saw some things that pointed towars iron/sulfur def wich would be explained by shitty ph runoff. Also thought substrate was looking a bit unfresh so I gave her a nice clean phd watering of 4l. Might give her another when she is dry again. Runoff was @ 6.3 and ppm 1800. threw it all out. Think this will be much better now. ps. aw man no .gif support ;_;

She is not the fastest, but she is the biggest. Trichs started showing up and buds are forming. I thought stretch was finished but nope she got another 2cm extra. pulled it down however. shitty weather so inside she sits. near the window with CFL support. Ain't ideal but it is what it is. next week probably permanently outside. Been building a rain shelter and still have a heat mat for the roots if necessary. But I don't think it will be needed. might need to defoliate a bit around the top because the nodes are really bushing things up with the circle LST

weather please, what are you doing. Cold and overcast so no outside no sunshine nothing. its turning again so she is outside now First time using plagron green sensation: It turns the water fluorescent yellow/green. WTF. Anyway It seems to work quite well but is also pretty potent. First time I had some very minor browning of the tips of the plant but nothing to be alarmed about. The buds are thickening up nicely. I will be sure to give some more next week. I'm altering feed/no feed with god results. Also, aphids! fuck them. I have pretty extensive garden and although I was aware of a tiny infestation on the roses a week ago I was like 'I'll spray next weekend' Boy oh boy did they multiply alright. The fight against the aphids on the roses was won but not before the airborn aphid troops infiltrated the the growing area. Luckily I nipped it in the bud (hehehehehe) and didn't have to resort to any pesticides or whatever. I am monitoring her closely. Mostly removing leaves and shock treatment with garlic concentrate. I hope the grow keeps going this well because she sure looks nice. very big and dense but sites. next week: microshots. more green sensation (probably last one), and cleaning her up a bit by removing the most hurt leaves. ps. I had some white spots which at first I thought was powdery mildew but it was very sporadic and now I am thinking this was build up from spraying an organic protection agent against bugs which I do once every 2 weeks. Just to be sure I removed everything that had a spot on it

Bad: Still battling aphids minor nute burn (brown tips) probably because of the plagron green sensastion Good: Aphids still losing. Its become a daily ritual to check her leaves to keep it under control. As long as they don't go near the buds and I can remove them all manually I don't really care that much. Also ordered ladybugs to let loose on the garden. Buds are fattening up bigly! I think its because of the green sensation which is a very potent product. trichs look amber and cloudy. some clears still as well. Next: next watering is nuteless and will be probably done today or tomorrow. I will monitor the progress of the bud if I can still see fattening I might feed once more if I see stagnation I might start the flush. Problem is I still have some lower weak branches that are still in white pistil mode and starting to form their buds. But I don't want the big sites to get fucked because I am waiting too long. So some decision making to do...

buds are still getting fatter it seemed so i extended a week of feed. weather has been very good as well. still battling aphids but this is under control with daily checks. They also seems to keep to the fan leaves Less good news, thought I saw traces of spidermite while doing a daily check. And fuck those guys. No chances, dosed them with spinosad (dont worry I took bee precautions). Haven't seen traces since. Probably gonna wash the bud if the spinosad smell remains. lets hope its gone in 2 weeks. flush starts now because trichs are ready to me. lower levels still have some clears but dont want all amber buds. also have some of the lowest branches that are just not ready but fuck it, ill throw it in the butter mix ;)

Finally an update. I couldn't be arsed because I was enjoying the other plants finished product a little bit too much. Goddamn BOYE! 😬 So technically this is week 13 and week14/harvest. Ill make a final harvest update when I've had a go at it. Started flushing hard through the week and don't really have pictures during this period. Was planning initially on flushing for 2 weeks but she looked a bit shitty by the end of last week and was rapidly losing leaves telling me it is at the end of its life cycle. I was still battling aphids although with a lesser eye for detail ifyouknowhatimean hehhe.😏 7 friggin hours of trimming later I was glad I chopped it down. I was missing some aphid concentrations here and there. Luckily only 1 minor bud site had a bit of an infestation but nothing I couldn't get rid of with some TLC. Pretty glad with the wet yield and first time i have some real firm bigger nugs. Buds are currently drying in a 20C 50%h dark environment for the last 3 days but i think these will need quite some time to get where they need to be. Good things are worth waiting for I guess.

So this one is done. Best harvest since I started. Pretty impressed with how big she got and the circle LST really paid off in the end. Some things I did different this time: - altering feeds with no feed - circle LST - different soil - plagron green sensation - hybrid grow. partly outside partly inside. plants were never left outside at night.
