Well right after last week my grow kinda came to an end, the 2 tallest colas on the least mature, but biggest plant had developed small patches of mold which had rotted small portions of the bud. Humidity finally caught up to me in a deadly way, but I can't control our crazy 2020 July floods! The 2 that I had already started flushing I decided to harvest immediately!
I feel over all I could have gotten more mature and bigger buds had I had a chance to let them keep going but I'm not disappointed with the smoke. After drying I smoked some test buds and I'm quite enjoying it.
I cut the buds down on the one with mold and let it grow about 6 more days. After the initial rot I didn't find anymore. I did cut one more bud off the day b4 I harvested it as a precaution but shes been drying almost 2 days now and everything's looking good. She's definitely the biggest, I hope she drys without any problems and I can update the harvest weights. I wet trimmed them in 2 different ways so I'm just gonna include the dried and trimmed weight as I put them into jars with humidity packs.
The 2 in jars as you can see dried down quite a bit from the picture weight. Before putting into jars they weighed 141gs all trimmed up, hoping to get another 100 or so off the last one, bar rotting issues. Can't wait for next week's final update!
Hello I'm new, currently having humidity problems in flower. 2 of my plants have a small amount of white fuzz mold on top of the soil. I read i can try to remove it and sprinkle ground cinnamon on top and let them dry out, any suggestions on ammount of cinnamon or what I can do?
What a Great Start, you sure are off to the races now !

Looks like everything is growing well so far! You're doing great. You're right that 60rh is a little low, but it's not too far from ideal and the leaves are nice and healthy. Happy growing! ๐๐ฑ
@Cheeba_Inu, thank you! The tips of my leaves have a little curl at the moment hope I caught it early, I think I over watered just a tad or my heat was a little too high, I'll let you see how it's going on Friday for week 3 :)
Hey, cheers to your first grow. Your setup/humidity situation is similar to what I just did in my first grow that is in flushing weeks now and at first I was lucky to hit 10% in my apt.
Lower humidity means your soil is humidifying the air...plants will grow alright when humidity is hovering 50-60%.
Environment stability is important and 26 celsius should be max so use airflow to cool the plants. Your exhaust you'll notice is good to get the smell out later in flower but should get heat out too.
I made boxes using dollarstore foam boards to direct air into my vents along with fans fitted in each box to be sure of airflow but my tent is a fishing hut, check out my vent pics in week 1.
