Day 3 above ground (day 1 was 12.18.17) started in 2 gal bags and depending on the flow of things I'll either transplant them right before flower to 3 or 5 gal bags or just let them go in the 2s and see how big they can get.
I was surprised at the size of the six shooters and Cali snow in the 3 gal pots especially hand watering if I can put together a solid drip system I bet the 2 gals could make some monsters too
Day 21 roots are goin nuts still getting the blumat dialed in up til now they haven't been getting as much feed as they could be cuz I'm nervous they'll flood my tent which has happened in the past
Transplanted 1 into 3 gal one. Into 5 gal
One is topped one is not
Still trying to adjust the blumat to get dialed in but these are growing most rapidly
Second one is on flush first one is still goin strong, they are completely covered in thick frost. Smells lemony and skunky. Had a salt buildup last week from the drip system which set them back a little but they are good now.
First one was chopped 3 days ago second one was chopped today, 3.10.18
Both smell strong like lemons and are unbelievable sticky
The first one never really developed a strong root system and stalk but the second one established early and packed on some good size buds. They will dry at 58-60 % in a cold dark tent for about a week and a half and I'll be sure to update with smoke report and weigh in
The two plants were pretty different, one was big and covered in this oily sticky resin the other one small, was topped and not as much resin but still decent amount. Both smelled similar but the bigger one distictly smelled like lemon pinesol and skunk. The smaller one smelled like musty mangos. They both had similar bud structure to the green crack, a little Foxtail but not as dramatic on the big one which is rock solid, smaller one is a little more airy. Very smooth to smoke mellows you out a bit and just has a calming effect without any significant head change really no high involved just subtle calming relaxing effect. Going to experiment with it and try to make some dog treats, lotion and edibles. I'm more of a get stupid high kinda guy so it's tough for me to get overly excited about especially without having the ability to test cbd and thc content myself. The main thing is that the people grew it for really enjoy being able to smoke a joint, get some subtle beneficial physical, mental and medical effects that they can function normally on. I will update if the dog treats and shit work out.
Looking good love how the first one is all nice and even second ones taking her time usually a good thing with autos they usually end up huge when they take a bit longer
Looking awesome seems like the roots are gonna be massive. Would transplant now if your planning to to avoid shocking them to much...
Are you planning to use canna boost or pk13/14?.... Also cannazym is awesome for controlling root problems when in small pots if you dont want re pot them. Growing quick. Good Growing :)
Really looking forward to see next update. I check my notifications many times every day to see if you’ve updated this diary. The fact that I’m growing the same strain makes me very interested in this one. Good job, really, with this plant. Can’t wait to see your harvest, and maybe a good smoke report. Cheers!
@TOTEM, thanks chief I appreciate that I'll be updating it tmm or the next day they are getting chopped in the next day or 2 I try to do an update every 7 days
Love little skunk melons! Never thought skunk would smell good to me but it sure does! Excellent work as per usual big dawg! Lookin forward to the harvest!
