This week I topped the purple punch several times and removed some useless small branches. Now she’s ready to grow straight up and I’m just waiting for her to catch up the upper branches!
Dr. Grinspoon doesn’t show any signs of flowering yet, need to wait a few days more.... when she’s in flowering I’ll start a separate diary for her!
Tangerine dream recovered the main lining and will be topped in the next 2 weeks or so
Laughing Buddha got topped on every branch and I did some LST to her and will let her live in peace for now!
Hi there! I found some strange brown spots on my tangerine dream, which are spreading. It looked like a burn, but the ,,burnt“ patches are not crunchy! Do you guys know what it could be?
Hey there, that looks like a "random" pH fluctuation , as i can see from the splotchiness of the spots and the burnt tips which is a sign of some kind of metal absorption problem probably due to a watering raising the pH temporarily . But if the leafs arent really drying out like if it was affected by nutrients maybe they're "variegated" leafs , but i've never seen it go like that . Hope this helps ! 🚀
@FR_PhenoFinder,
Yes, sadly my one doesn’t build up any branches, so I’m not photographing her every week, but tangerine dream is a must-have in my opinion!
@TheDoctor, ph being high or low can never be told through leaf conditions mate. But when you have such deficiencies in a perfectly green plant ; it means ph is out of range. Set it in range of 6.2 to 6.5 and you should see the difference in coming days. The only way to determine your soil ph ;is by making a soil slurry of 50/50 soil and pure ro 0 tds water and filtering(removing soil) this water and testing its ph. Better to just adjust the next nutrient feeding to 6.3. Also there are this soil ph and humidity testers ;though have never used it ; so have no idea. Hope that adjusting ph and providing those 3 micronutrients shall help you plant.
