Hi folks. So this is my first time on Growdiaries and i am still figuring out how to use.
Growing together with a SweedtSeeds Jack 47 fast version with 3 weeks apart from each other.
Several improvements on this new project:
-Humidifier
-Main-lining technique
-Cloning
-Include boosters on flowering stage.

Royal Gorilla from Royal Queen Seeds is a popular and powerful strain known for the enormous amount of resin it produces, high in terpenes and cannabinoids, with some specimens exceeding 25% THC.
The result of an accidental cross between Sour Dubb and Chem Sister, this clone-only cultivar quickly conquered growers with the abnormally high quality of it’s flowers, with only average yield but one of unbelievably resin-heavy buds that release a mouthwatering floral aroma.
It’s a fast flowering variety, when grown indoors Royal Gorilla can be harvested after 8-9 weeks of bloom, and in outdoor cultivation it’s ready to collect in mid October, delivering a maximum production of 500-550g per m2.
The effect is very relaxing physically, euphoric and elevating, the Royal Gorilla can be very effective at combating stress, and its 24-26% THC make it a good option for medicinal users looking to harvest cannabinoid-rich plants.
Its sweet, earthy aroma, enriched with pine and lemon notes, along with the high production of trichomes, make Royal Gorilla the perfect candidate for making all types of cannabis concentrates and hash.

The buckets i made by myself including the topfeeding mechanism.
Comments and tips will be appreciated. Hope you guys like it. 😎
Day #25
-topping 1/3
I will start to update the roots development as well after this week.
Humidifier seems to make a good difference. raising up to 20%. only problem it drinks lots of water. Even i got one with considerable reservoir size (2.3L) i need to refill it everyday. Worth tho.
Did the 1st topping for Main-Lining. Never did this before, hope will get good results. 😎
The plant is growing strong. I have to change the wires in order to follow the plant growing. Seems quite hard because there is no soil to attach hooks. So i am thinking to build something that might work better for main lining on hydroponics.
Added CalMag.
Day #35
- topping 2/3
Da5 #38
-decided to stop using top feeding. roots are strong enough to continue growth itself.
Clones have recovered making roots and now standing by itself.
Plant responded very well to adding of CalMag, decide to proccede with topping (2/3).
Algae start to form on the top feed tube. removed for cleaning and decided to stop.
top feed get good results for the first weeks for root development but later is not so relevant, so decided to stop to see the results.
You can see the result of stop the top-feed: some roots got dry but the plant is responding well.
Made a lid for the plant's bucket to reduce the light leaking in the solution bucket.
also, going to cover the bottom with tape for the same reason. need to fight against algae and bacteria, seems quite a challenge.
Finally did the last topping and achieved the shape i wanted so much! Can see the "H" on top, this gonna serve as base for the next following branches. quite symmetrical.
Day #72 - Decided to release the beast! made the hooks loose in order to prevent any stunt. plant has already acquired the desired shape.
Day #75 - Did some LsT
@Sunlike2020, they are quite different methods with pros and cons. Hydro usually gives a higher yield less and problems with plagues and less watering but also is more costly, demands an extra care with cleanness and buddies are less tasty and aromatic. So its more about what you define as priority. Used soil before and now i kinda enjoy hydro. 😎
