TB303 The Cristal Candy and Gelato strains grew more than 10 cm compared to the Northern Light and Mango Cream under the same conditions. I rotated the plants this week to see if there's any improvement in the last two. Both groups are maintaining similar growth. I performed fim pruning.

I have 2 strains that grow at one pace and another 2 at a different pace. Both pairs grow similarly. How can I make one match up more with the other? Any techniques?

You can use training method , they are all differents strains so they will all grow differently in terms of height , speed so you'll have differences , if you want to have the same kind of shape or if you wanna managa a taller plant then the best ways is trainning like LST + topping or just LST

TB303 New leaves have appeared on all the plants, good response to the fim pruning. The Gelato and Crystal Candy are still growing faster in height, so I started practicing LST on them. This week, they will undergo a substrate leaching with a weak solution because they are 30 days old. Given how the grow is going, I plan to leave them in vegetation for 7 weeks. The Northern Lights and Mango Cream have less height but better foliar development. The height is an average between the two: 30 cm for the tallest, 16 cm for the other two shorter ones.

I would like to know what you all think of my grow, it's been 32 days. For me, it's going very slow. It's my first time in inert substrate. I plan to keep it in vegetation for 8 weeks, no more than that. Any comments or recommendations would be welcome. Thank you!

It does seem kind of under developed for a 5 week plant. A couple of tips: (i) when the temperature is below 23°C (73°F) the growth is very slow, so try to raise the temperature; (ii) If you are going to grow in coco, then you need an EC / PPM meter, you could be under feeding a bit; (iii) See how big the space between nodes are? That's because the light is too far

TB303 They started to grow quite well, they reactivated. While doing LST, I broke the main branch of one plant. Rookie mistake. There are a lot of lateral branches coming out on all the plants. This is my first grow with LST and SCROG. So I'm learning a lot, so I don't make the same mistakes in the future.

TB303 There was foliar growth, and signs of pre-flowering are starting to show. I think they've improved a lot in the last few weeks by increasing the EC of the nutrient solution. They look healthy to me, with no deficiencies as far as I can tell. Any opinion is always helpful. It's my first time using SCROG, and I feel super comfortable with it. Very useful. I did a little trimming of the larger leaves.

If you want to take a picture, turn off lights and bring in a normal CFL or incandescent etc. A black background behind the focus of picture can help too. i may be misunderstanding what you ask... If i am misunderstanding: They look great, while not seeing color correctly, so a bit limited. LEaves are nice and healthy, broad, large etc... New growth fills in color quickly etc... As long as you don't see any darkness creeping up on the plant, it looks perfectly healthy from pictures. You could try removing some of the largest leaves at top of canopy -- if less than 21 days into bloom, many will grow back, if 7-10 days left before that point. Don't over do it. Only cut something off if it drastically improves light penetration to auxiliary growth that can be meaningful to harvest. I take a lot of the top-most leaves off after about 7-10 days into bloom - more so if overcrowded. I remove a lot of the lower limbs that are 90% shaded at this point, too. The mid-level stuff i leave, even if likely fluffy. This is what i use for making bubble hash instead of trim - good trim i still include if frosty. All of that is based upon observances of non-defoliated harvests. Especially with larger, unruly plants, it helps focus resources. A well-maintained / scrogged plant may not need such techniques of all stalks are gorwing well and evenly spaced. A completely covered canopy that doesn't allow any light below isn't optimal for harvest. Only the top 6-10" might develop thick buds. You can get this to 12-24" of thick buds on top colas with a bit more light penetration. it's not about light on buds, but it is about light on the plant, in general. Exposed to light will cause leaf growth below and that will help power bud development below too. (just as you can cover up a node above ground with something moist that blocks off light, and it will start to grow roots) it merely reacts to the environement in a compartmentalized way. Observe cause and effect and manipulate it to you rneeds.

TB303 Everything is going well, the plants look healthy with leaves free of deficiencies and over-fertilization. The stems have grown to a good size. Tomorrow I'm going to do the monster cropping. I'll take 2 cuttings from each plant. This will leave more space for light to penetrate. The SCROG is at 90%. I think a lot has progressed in the last 4 weeks, and a big part of it is thanks to the recommendations from the people in this group. Cheers!

TB303 You can already see signs of flowering in progress. I think it got a bit delayed. But there's good growth. The SCROG is complete and new branches are popping up. This week, 5 cuttings were taken from 3 plants. They are surviving. Any recommendations?

TB303 In the last few days, I heated up the room and it started to speed up the flowering. The low winter temperatures halted growth for at least a week. Everything is getting better and I'm learning as I go. They are still healthy.

TB303 I'm trying to improve the flowering time, so the whole process has been reactivated again. It's going to mean a few more weeks, but the plants are healthy. There are no deficiencies or over-fertilization visible. If anyone has an excellent recommendation. The temperature now varies from 24 to 18, thanks!

TB303 New week, the northern light is in better flowering condition than the others, I'm trying to control the temperature since it keeps going up and down constantly. I did a little defoliation to allow the light to penetrate better. Any recommendations for the last 3 weeks of flowering? What can be given to the plants to develop better flowers, they haven't shown any deficiency or over-fertilization at any point.
