These are soaking in paper towel on a germ mat currently.
Growing 2 of these along side some chemD and Blackberry. Using FF coco loco soil in a 3 gal fabric pot.
Update 4/1:
After soaking in RO water for 12 hours and in a damp paper towel on a germ mat for 24 hours. One has a tail poking out. One is cracking open.
Update 4/3:
The tails havent come out any further, and a chemD seed rotted out due to lack of hydrogen peroxide because of this damn pandemic. I put these seeds in soil today to avoid any more BS.
Update 4/7:
I made a noob mistake and lost all 6 of my beans. Since then, i popped the last smoothie bean i had and it showed a tail quickly. She is now poking up from soil. I am now germing differently with styrofoam and plastic wrap to keep the RH high. So far, it is working very well.
Update 4/8:
She is still doing very well. I would estimate that she will she showing her first leaves in the next few days.
today marks day 9. Since the seedlings arent as delicate as they were, ive put on cruise control for the past few days. They are getting watered daily, with a mixture of spraying the water and using a small watering can to drench the pots. All is going well.
---------------------------------
Update 4/19
This girl was also slightly affected by the PH poisoning because of the junk meter i had. She is already recovering and the PH is back in check. Today is day 11
-----------------------------
Update 420
Today marks day 12. She will be getting tucked very soon. She is doing great. Happy growing everyone!

4/24
Today i gave her a heavier feeding and she is doing great!! Today marks day 16. I cannot wait to watch this little lady get big!
4/28
She is starting to explode!!!! She is 5 inches tall today
5/1
Today marks Day22. She is doing pretty well and handling the training well. We will see how she handles the defoliation from today. I figured since she was old enough, she could handle it. She smells pretty nice already.
5/3
Today is day 24. She reacted nicely to the topping and defoliation and hasnt skipped a beat. She immediately put all of her energy towards her undergrowth. Plants are so cool lol. I have also been training her more aggressively. She is getting big big big!
5/9
She is fully recovered from the topping and is starting to preflower. Id say she is poised to be a beauty if i dont stress her out.
5/10
Ironic that i say "if I dont stress her out". I lollipopped her today. She is growing very well otherwise and is getting some purpling on her stems. I plan on flushing her tomorrow.
5/19
Shes doing very well. I defoliated her a few days ago and she is recovering nicely. She is getting a nice squatty bush shape to her.
Her side branches are very interesting to me. They are physically twisting and getting purple stripes all over. She isnt the only one though. The Chemdawg also has some purp.
5/20
She is realllllly starting to smell now. My carbon filter is doing double duty. I still get a faint fuel smell WITH a carbon filter. Yikes. She stanky.
5/21
Did a check-up and light adjustment today. She smells very tropical right now. Her somango genes are really shining through righg now. Somango with a hint of berries.
5/24
Today is D45 for this beautiful girl. Shes getting heavy and building up root mass. Shes loving the Kangaroots. She still stinks like tropical mango with blueberries on top. Yummy yum.
Shes going to be a colorful girl. And a terp monster. Super excited.
Happy growing!!
6/1
Today is Day 53 for this stinky girl. She hasnt really gotten a whole lot larger, but her bud size has slightly increased. Her stem is mad purple. So far, her buds arent purple. The tips of the top buds are maybeeee starting to change.
She is sensitive to both air movement and also got some slight light burn. This isnt unusual for some strains once they hit a certain point in flower. The WCOG from fastbuds did the same thing around this time of flower.
She has a nice bush-like structure and has taken on more of a blueberry terpene profile. Blueberry mixed with tropical mango/pineapple.
At this point, i realize these genes would be great in a SOG. I believe id be able to fit 3x3 in the 3 gal pots in the 4x4ft tent if i were running ONLY smoothie and/or ChemDawg. Shes got about a month left Id say. Completely sprayed in trichomes right now
6/8
Today is day 60 for this squat little girl. I believe the higher temps this past week have slowed her growth. I believe today will be the last day i feed her above 300 PPM, since most of her trichomes look milky.
Believe it or not, shes been getting scorched by the COB above her. I switched it out for a less harsh LED. Again, this could be because of the higher temps.
The temps will be lower the next two weeks, so lets hope she puts on weight. She smells amazing.
6/9
My new lens and light setup came in, so i snapped some pics with the lights off. Enjoy;)
6/21
Shes still rolling steady, covering herself in terps. The tops of her are turning purple, so i pulled the light down a little to see how she reacts. Shes still a squat little lady. But boy oh boy, does she smell delicious. Exactly like her genes!
Id say she has a few weeks left yet. Shes been hungry, but not as hungry as her sister.
6/26
Pics from yesterday. Spent some time defoliating her. Shes not too far off from harvest, but she still doesnt have much amber.
The terps on this girl are insane. Crazy crazy crazy. Smells like a fruit smoothie on steroids
Pics are from 6/27 aka day 79. She is still chugging along. I am most likely giving her straight water with a little calmag to let her finish out.
Shes been very hungry. Specifically calmag hungry. This is the first time running these genes, so i will note it for the next time. The brown leaves look terrible, but i will pull these leaves before i take the final pics of her.
Ive neglected to take photos of her since her sisters were just harvested. Priorities lol
Lets just say i got carried away with harvesting two other girls this week. More to follow in the next week.
Smooth sailing. She wants more Potassium!!!!! SHE NEVER GETS ENOUGH K. FEED HER K.
harvest week. Chopped on Day 92
Came back from vacation to find her fried up cuz of the K-deficiencies. She was very dry, but still healthy. Just had crispy brown leaves as a result. Covered in frosted purple tips.
Very very dense nugs on this lady. Very large. She will be drying out for at least 4 days now.
I promise i will get a stem pic and many, many bud pics once shes done curing.
Just finished manicuring this girl. She will be curing for a hot minute now. She still has a super loud, dank blueberry and mango skittle nose. right now, the blueberry skittle nose overpowers the mango, but you still get the tropical sweetness, again, even without a cure.
I smoked a couple lil baby nugs without a cure. It still tasted amazing, although i KNOW this one needs a week+ cure or so. We shall see how she smells as time goes on. No complaints so far. I will update it once she finishes up.
Indica/hybrid feeling. Sedating. Puts a smile on my face. Sinks me into the couch. Feels very potent. So terpy and delicious.
This girl actually grew smaller and more squat than my chemdawg girl. She would be an amazing indica hybrid to grow in SOG. She stays super short and doesnt get that wide. However, she still yielded 70 grams dry.
I figured i could have fit 9 of these ladies in a 4x4 with room to spare. Im not sure if i would top her again, seeing with how small she stayed. I definitely recommend LST and Defoliation, however.
She was super hungry during flower and i struggled to give her what she was hungry for, resulting in crispy brown leaves on the oldest growth. I am going to tweak the feeding line on the next grow of these smoothie genes to increase PPMs.
I will post more pics once she is cured. She honestly looks damn close to FastBuds pic on their site. Overall, super happy with her turnout. I definitely plan to grow her in the future.
@FXRocket,
@FXRocket,
I would say it depends on your medium and how heavy you feed them.
I dont think ive ever gone above 1000 PPM on this lady, mainly since I am using Reverse-Osmosis water that starts out at 1 PPM. I am also using coco as the medium. So realistically, i dont have a need to flush, since she is absorbing everything i give her and her runoff is close to 0 PPM.
I will most likely not flush her and just give her very low PPMs on her final week of life.
That being said, I have always flushed in the past. Id say i give them a flush once the trichomes are above 25% milky. It does depend on the size of your plant as well, since some plants store more nutrients than others. You can always see how they react to the flush and go from there.
Always feel free to hmu on here if you need any advice. Im on here like a dozen times a day lol
