It looks like she's going to be a she! I don't know why I didn't take more pictures, but I will post some more tomorrow. Had to get a dehumidifier as summer is coming around and it will be getting more humid in the garage and I don't need bud rot. Did some trimming of the less-healthy looking and shorter/slow growing veg and nodes, especially the ones already growing into the other nodes. She's very bushy so I want to make sure there's plenty of room for air to flow through the inside of the plant.

Grow Questions

Something is snacking on my plant! Snail/slug, inchworm/caterpillar seem the likeliest culprits - cricket or grasshopper have similar bites but are a little large to get in the buckets and disappear, as I am home to check her. Any help is appreciated!

I had the same kind of nibbles on my first grow. Turned out it was a cricket in my grow closet. One good reason for keeping a clean grow area. Crickets will eat dead and new tender leaves. They also eat small insects, so they are not all bad. Good luck finding the culprits.🌱🤞👌🏻

After my low humidity problem two days ago, she seems unhappy and the growth has basically stopped. I realize it should be slowing down at this third week but these brown, dry-looking areas are showing up between some of the leaves, the ones in the center being the worst. Thanks!

I would say its a nutrition burn. Maybe you are feeding them to much, or mixing all the products in the same watering so the EC is too high.

My runoff PH has been hitting mid-5s, even after flushing (w/ & w/o additive). Been trying to raise with higher PH water, used 7.25PH water today and the runoff was still 5.56. She looks healthy other than some discoloration in some leaves, so it isn't killing her but.....????

Iv never really understood these space bucket things coz its not very small, you could easily fit a small grow tent in the same space, and it isn't like they are even stealthy or subtle. Is it an extra grow just to play around with or something? good luck though, Im not poo poo-ing It at all, i just enjoy maximising use of space lol

@JKwonTheChef, when I first saw this I was like WTF. I’ve never seen anything like it. I know someone who made something similar with an old chest freezer. Good luck

@Rabidreject, hahaha no offense taken! The area and environment I'm working with just don't work for a tent - it's a garage and woodshop which I share. More often than not people are using small 5 gallon buckets for stealth but I live in a legal state so I don't care too much, though the Brutes look a bit better than a tent with the garage open. I've gone way overboard with mine - and I wasn't about to skimp on lights - but the base cost is much lower than the price of a tent alone. They've got some great examples at spacebuckets.com or r/spacebuckets on reddit.

I was separating my three different sets of seeds - 2 Blueberry Cough, 1 Blue Widow - and like an idiot mixed up one of the Blueberry Coughs and the Blue Widow. I'll be happy with either for a first (solo) grow.

I had the same bites. Turned out to be cricket. Didn’t mind cause saw lots of dead nasty’s the cricket killed. For me happens breeding season males travel for mate. Then they seem to disappear. Sry got on a rambling tangent. Plant looks good
