Plant is now 3 days old from breaking the surface, and 5 days old since germination. Had a little difficulty getting her set up - the seed shell was stuck on the seedling and had separated from the internal membrane lining of the seed. To fix this, I gently dropped some water droplets on the seed shell to moisten it. I let the plant continue to push it off for one more day, before using a tweezers to remove the seed shell from the plant. I then had to use the tweezers to very delicately peel back the inner membrane, allowing the seedling to open its leaves. One cotyledon was yellow, however the other is of perfect health. The seedling is now happily growing with a good shade of green and new size every day. Hopefully this germination ordeal won't stunt growth down the line.
