Growth is still great, she's really starting to get chunky and frosty. Hopefully she'll be done in another 3 weeks or so as I am absolutely dying to be able to try it! Happy growing

Since adding mycorrhizae to my soil, I've noticed some mushrooms sprouting from my soil. The general consensus online is that this is a sign of a healthy soil system. However there is little information on this for cannabis specifically. Is this okay? Thanks!

totally fine to have mushrooms growing in the soil, most of the time they form a symbiotic relationship with the root system which means the plant can absorb more. Next time try inoculating with magic mushrooms and have even more fun check out @budofpray 's past diaries he accidentally had that happen which was quite funny at the time. same goes for moss by the way : totally fine to see moss or green growth on the top of your soil. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hi @DankOfIreland bro get rid of it, a mushroom is a fungus. Take them with hands and if they persist in being born Fungicides are among the most toxic chemicals. Here are a few alternatives: * Listerine - Mix 1 teaspoon of Listerine into 1 quart of warm water * Hydrogen Peroxide - 1 Tablespoon per gallon of water * 1/2 teaspoon baking Soda, 1/4 teaspoon cooking oil in 1 quart warm water * All of the above recipes should be mixed directly into the sprayer and applied every 10 days or until there is no evidence of fungus. * Cinnamon powder dusted directly onto damaged or cut areas prevent fungus on plants. good luck mate 👍

To me mushrooms and the myco are from the same family so if one have good conditions to grow then the 2nd too. As you already have myco I would recommend to get rid of the mushrooms as they will not work in symbiosis with your plants so they will grow using your nutz

Hey guys, Just wondering if I should defoliate a bit. I've experimented with starting LST early, and I'm doing the spiral method to keep the canopy low and bushy. Should I be defoliating to improve light to covered tops? You can see how dense the plant is.

defoliate only a week or so before you flip , this lady's a bit small plus you're doing rather extreme LST meaning the growth is gonna be that much slower. take your time and let the plant do it's job, that's my best advice. 🚀

hi friend, i am in your same situation. if you want you can check my diary. I think that I will wait for the plant to be stronger before proceeding with the defoliation, the autoflowering plants may have too much stress in my opinion if defoliated during the first days of LST. i am newbie friend, so wait the opinion of other people. :)

@az420, Yeah she's a great performer, I'm so excited to smoke it. Hard not to rush the process during the last few weeks as she matures and looks tastier by the day lol

Good luck with your grow! What kind of light are you using and now many Watts?
DankOfIreland

@NickintheskywithWeed, I'm running the Mars Hydro TS600 Full Spectrum LED grow panel with Epistar LEDS. It's actual power draw is about 100watts. It's an incredibly bright light that puts out 1592PPFD at 6inches. There's no fan so it's completely silent. I'm growing in a 1.5ft x 1.5ft space so this light is absolutely perfect for it an my plants are loving life right now! Would highly recommend it for the money (its cheap) compared to any of the blurple lights out there. My plant exploded when I swapped this in place of my old blurple LED.
