Quarantine madness! Because I'm living in quarantine since 3 weeks now (thank you gov) I lost the control of my small box and fullfilled him with EVERYTHING I could grow! This will sustain me for a while, since I got 12 plants inside (+2 seeds which are germinating). I started on february with the ICE, slow veg due to frozen temperature, I topped her and cleaned the back part so I can run her on the wall with some reinforcement like a steel net or sort of. She will be feeded with organic RQS nutrition. Then I added in march 2 uknown bagseeds (Berry "something") to confront different techniques of growing: one started in a tiny pot and was slowly transplanted TWO times, while the other will grow in a Kratky pot (passive system). Both are feeded with Biobizz. Now I'm preparing for the outdoor season, 4xSapphire Scout and 5xBagseeds from a nice strain I got during new year's holiday. Hope to find some girls, I put 10 seeds to germinate but one died :( Then I forgot I couldn't smoke for a while so I put 2x Auto Jamaican Blue Mountain -old seeds that I got during the 2016 Rototom Festival. Oh yes, half of the box was full of tomatoes, but they will be put outdoor soon.. Let's see what I can do during this quarantine!!!

So the two autos blue jamaican were TOO old and didn’t germinate at all. The ICE is growing slow, very good because next week I’m gonna add some reinforcement to her. The Sapphire seems cool, I left them too much in the rockwool and now they’re almost 10cm tall. The misterious strain is strange. Some of them collapsed on the side and now I’m gonna add a stick or something for reinforcement.

Any ideas why the new one (Sapphire Scout and Mysterious Strain) are so tall and thin? What should I do to prevent them collapsing again?

Hi @AlpineGoat the light must be very high and it stretches too fast in proportion as the stalk gains strength. lower your light further, make a small pile with substrate around the stalk until the plant can stand upright, point a fan at them to blow the wind gently so as not to damage them but so that they shake, the more the stalk shakes the more it gains volume and strength. good luck mate🍀🙏👍

Kratky system isn’t working well for my girl. She keeps growing slowly thanks to some hydratation with the spray but the roots never reached the water. I never used rockwool for her, only perlite. What can I do? It’s almost 1 month old!

@Silky_smooth, have the same kind of setup on one of her diary or too so I recommending you to take a look and well copy what she's doing has she's doing it well. That said if the roots doesn't touch the water you can bring more water or put a cotton mesh , like that the water will travel trought the mesh and will reach the roots , google it , if I remember well they are doing it with dutch pots or NFT system ( I'm not sure )

This week was very busy! Thanks to your help I kept straight the thin stems of the out babies. I’m wondering what’s best to do to keep a lower profile in the future: topping or fimming? - The kratky girl seems to reach the water but her roots are rottening out (greenish and smelling like rotten eggs). Maybe a change of water can help her? - Her sis, the Queen, is going nicely and I’m very proud. I still dunno if it’s a she or a he, but I will left it untouched (no topping or fimming is need) since it’s growing in a very beautiful and natural form! - The ICE plant is a monster now: after 10 weeks of vegetative she will keep growing slowly and steady: very good! I’m gonna make her flowering late, maybe I will use some cuts to grow some clone, I dunno.. but surely she will be flowering with the Queen and the other girls which will arrive this week, since I’ve been selected for both Zamnesia and GreenHouse contest! - This sunday I cleaned the vent and while doing it I discovered that the pot I used for transplating my tomatoes had a lil secret inside: the Auto Jamaican Blue Mountain! What a beaytiful surprise! I will let her grow for two weeks before bending at 90º for achieve better results at harvest time.

This week was insane! I received two packages from Zamnesia and GHSC, both contain seeds nutrient and even a pot to use! Thank you 🙏 Hope to find some space for them for the end of the month, since I’m planning to moving outdoor the Sapphire Scout and the NYEve. All of them will be cut in a way or another 😈 ✂️ 😇 Now that I rescued the Jamaican Blue Mountain AUTO I found that the Berry Surprise is showing pistills.. does it mean it’s a female and going AUTOMATICALLY in flowering mode? WoW! I’m hoping so much!!! The ICE is surprising big, I can’t wait to turn her to flowering to show what she can give in the end! Now I’m celebrating the week, in the evening I’m going to cutting away some stuff or two...

Short story lot of question: I grew this bagseed for a month an 2 weeks now, and this beauty start showing some pistils on the internode under the top. I kept her under 18hrs light.. Is it a female? Is it an auto? If yes to both question: how should it need before blooming?

When a plant is pushing pistils before the 12/12 switch it does not mean that she is an auto , it’s mean that she is showing sex and that she can be either a female or an hermie ( yes it is a bagseed so it could be an hermaphrodite ). After 2 month and a half you can fairly say that it is not an auto as an auto can be harvest from seeds in 3 month.

I’m waiting a bit to put the girls outdoor since it’s a lil cold in those morning I don’t wanna shock them. The indoor girls are growing good, especially the auto! I moved the pots a bit and added two small fans which will help me keep controlled the humidity. The newborns are ready to be put in the pots, for them only 4-5 weeks of veg before switching to full bloom phase!

This week I managed to take care of 2 adults, 9 baby outdoors, 1 auto and 2 germination.. am I a good green-parent or not? 😬😇 During this week I add two small fans to the box bevause the temperature are rising this period and I’m wanna be sure to increase air flow. Unfortunately this means check the water of the humidifier every 10 seconds but it’s okay.. During the weekend I managed to sneak out the covid-law to put 4-of-8 outdoor babys (one will be gifted to a friend) and I almost got caught by a security officer on the road 👮‍♂️🏻😭🙀 The other 4 will be put out soon as I got some spare time (hopefully next weekend MAXIMUM since I’m already late). Every outdoor plant is equipped with 3 biotabs (2 guerrigliatabs and 1 biotabs but they look same stuff to me). I even added one tab to the Summer Berry - Queen of the Box Oh also I transplanted the two seeds running for the contest into their final pot, one looks quite rotten to me I’m popping another seed just in case 😬

Bio Tab time! Since I put some girls outdoor and popped new seeds it’s time for a group fertilization! I used the BioTabs Guerrillia Tab - 2 for each pot (for the outdoors) - 1 for the Summer Surprise - 1/2 for the JBM Auto - 1 and 1/2 for the ICE. The babies running for the contest have already everything they need with their nutrient line. Only one died for over-fertilization and another one didn’t seems to feel fine (maybe I damaged some roots while slipping the tab inside the soil). At the moment I’m growing 7 different strain in a 80x80 box 💪😇👍

This sunday I managed to tie down the ICE plant :) it needs a defoliation next week or at the end of the month at least! The Summer Berry got a nice defoliation since the leaf were occupying too much space into the box. After a good check I discovered that my JBM Auto got three main branches instead of the normal two! I consider myself lucky since I can’t top or fim an auto to obtain more yield... The others are fine, I’m gonna update some pic when they will show some good sign of grow!

Sad week this week. I forgot to fill the humidificator tank and after a hot day I found two dead girls.. too young to survive :( Also some soul-less had stole one of my outdoor plant! The other three weren’t spotted and are growing well - some nutrient deficient due to the BioTabs.. But in the end the other big sis - ICE and SummerBerry - reacted good to the defoliation! Now I’ve got only 4 plants indoor and 3 outdoor - the other outgirls has been given away as gift! Hope to smoke some good stuff at the end of the summer!

Some yellow spot appeared on the ICE, maybe it’s the humidity.. Summer Berry is too high now I’m wondering how much can it grow during the flower phase! Bubba Slush is doing great! Runtz is slow but already reached the third node and is developing it 4th. Now i switched 12/12 so they can develope some beautiful flowers! Now its time for some more experiment! Light is now VERTICAL! This CFL is splitted in half, one side is better for vegetative stage, the other for blooming. For the first 2 weeks I’m gonna push the bloom side to the Summer Berry, then the ICE for the rest of the time! From the outside I still can’t find time to go and check, maybe tomorrow after the big rain of today..

During this week I just observed and moved around some branches and leafs.. nothing much to do, it’s rainy those days and humidity is very high (60º), I just water the plants only 1 time during the week and the soil seems so moisty. I start with the nutrients cycle: - 10gs monster bud mix (zamnesia/bionova) for Runtz - 2ml/L biobloom and biogrow and 1ml/L top max (bio bizz) for the ICE and the Summer Surprise - 30gs of biogrow and 1g of enchancer (greenhouse) for the Bubba Slush

BAD NEWS FROM THE GUERRILLA FRONT! Some really not-so-nice person found my outdoor guerrilla family.. two of them were transplanted away from their spot (I found some holes digged into the ground) and other two were bafly damaged - they snapped away the upper part! Maybe they showed some male part and somebody removed them and stole the girlz, maybe is just an asshole, but now I remain with two badly damaged plants outdoor and three in another field I have to check soon or later... MEANWHILE, in the grow box.. Things are going good. I performed an extreme defoliation at the ICE since it was full of leaf I didn’t wanted, I cleaned it half way, hope I did everything right. I just removed some leafs from the SBS and moved around the branches so every flower can get the light. Runtz finally start blooming, I think it will need a bit more time to achieve best maturation time. Bubba slush is amazing, smell a bit more than the others, it’s a beauty! Just water them 2 times all with the BioBizz and it helped the Runtz start blooming!

I stop feeding the girls with nutrients saturday (except the ICE) and start using only tap water (0.75L). This week I'm gonna harvest a bit and hopefully everything will be chopped down in two weeks and a half. The day before the harvest I'm gonna put some ice for a cold shock!

It started like a long cycle for testing some lst and due to the lockdown I start loose my control and I destroyed the whole plant. Very resilient and adaptive, small flowers, can be squeezed on a wall like I did. I really missed a good chance to get a good overcome but in the end I did some cute flowers and some fat cannabutter.
