So I germinated these fellas in a glass of water for 1 day and then in a wet tissue for another day and I put them into soil mixed with a bit of perlite and a decomposable cup. I let the water stand for a day before using it, I watered the plant using a spray bottle, I didn't add any nutrients yet. I would like to point out that this is my first grow.
In third week I started watering using a cup because the plant was repotted and was able to hold more water, there are new leaves and I started feeding it, I added seabird manure to the soil, which I won't be adding anymore and proper nutrients and pH measuring stuff is on the way.
I started training them using a string for now but I will replace it with a wire later, they grew new leaves but not much has changed.
I think I overfed them so I'm giving them a little break for a few days, just watering them, and then I'll cut the dose to half.
I exchanged strings for wires (lst), I noticed pre-flowers
I didn't change feeding schedule (1ml alga bloom, 1ml alga grow), every other day
I'm thinking of trying a few drops of raw milk for micronutrients, if anyone here ever tried it let me know how it went.
One of the plant is a bit smaller but small flowers are already appearing and I'm going to change nutrients soon
As they started to flower I noticed one nasty thing, fungus gnats, so I put a bunch of sticky traps and a bit of cinnamon on top of the soil to help it dry out, this was also a wake up call for my overwatering, which might be the cause for a slight stunt.
Yeah, these photos is just me playing with my camera. They are getting nice and dark and I added a 3w bulb from aliexpress just as an experiment to see of it does anything. I water them barely once a week because the soil is having a trouble drying. Note to self: grow in coco, use more perlite...
I decided to water less each watering because the soil takes too long to dry out, so I don't have any runoff. I watered once this week with 2l for each plant.
Some of the hairs are turning orange, I'm giving this plant two weeks tops.
So I started the final flush but the plant seems to be just about done so I might not let it completely take up the leaf nutrients and cut it down. I didn't get the best look at the trichomes, today I'm gonna put them in darkness and start drying in a day.
the yield was pretty low on these plants, but I'm pretty sure it was the weak lights (tight budget). this was my very first grow and i wanted to do this in like forever! I cant say I'm dissapointed, mainly because this is for personal use so it's more than enough for now!
I'ts been drying for 7 days and now it's getting nice and cured in a jar. Of course we couldnt wait and tried smoking it right away (and I mean before it dried for 7 days) and it was pretty nice! doesnt scratch throat or anything, made me question why do we even bother drying it lol.
