Not much to report this week. She's off to a good start in a solo cup full of FFOF mixed with Happy Frog and pure water to drink. She's already nearly caught up to the Cali Connection Sour d that will be her tentmate for the next several months. So far, I'm impressed with these freebies from Seedsman.

She's going along nicely. A lighter shade of green than her Sour D tentmate but growth is steady and vigorous. Watering every other day or so with plain water.

Steady growth. Not much to report. She made transition from solo cup to her permanent home on the last day of week 4. She was definitely ready for a new home. Probably should have done it at the beginning of the week.

This week saw excellent growth after moving to her finishing pot. Early in the week she was topped and recovered by the next day like nothing had happened. I am really impressed with these Seedsman genetics. I'll be making purchases of other choice cultivars in their line very soon.

Not much to report this week. Just leaf tucking to keep light penetration at optimal levels and training the canopy flat. Have begun light BioBizz feeding as the built up nutrients in the soil are starting to taper off.

Made the flip to 12/12 this week; growth is really taking off now. Continuing to leaf tuck as needed and feed BioBizz. She is definitely the best performer between her and Sour D.

Growth continues to impress. Vigorous and healthy from top to bottom. I can't say enough good things about this strain so far. I supercropped a few of the longer growth shoots and they bounced back within hours. Go to next week to see how she looked 24 hours later! I love these genetics!

She is still impressing as she goes into week 9. Her canopy is absolutely perfect after recovering from HST. I've upped the BioBizz to the amount recommended on the label and will continue to HST/LST where needed. More updates to come later this week!
Finally caught up with several different diaries that I've been lagging on updating here so I'll try to keep things current going forward. COVID-19 has kept me busy elsewhere but this hobby has been a lifesaveer. Glad I can share it here with you folks.

Everything is proceeding well. I couldn't be happier with this strain. I added the Canna Boost now that she's starting to stack on the buds. She really hasn't exhibited much of a stretch and what little she did has been managed by the HST.

She continues to do well and exhibits no issues. She seems to have really started to turn up the bud production. This cultivar drinks water like no other. She sucks water down at a pace that puts the much larger Sour D next to her to shame. Light defoliation and leaf tucking to encourage light penetration.

She continues to do well and exhibits no issues. This strain is truly a dream to grow, especially with my environment dialed in and organic nutrients. This would be a strain I would recommend for beginners for sure. The smell is fantastic and she is really putting on visible weight and density.
Week 13 wrapped up nicely with the buds putting on a good amount of weight. I'm starting to see a handful of pistils go amber so I'm not sure exactly where she falls in the timeline with regard to how long I have left until the chop. I expected to take her to at least 18-20 weeks total but it may be that she'll be ready within the next 3-ish weeks or so. I have no frame of reference for the cultivar so not sure what to expect. I hope she has a bit longer than that as I think she'll really stack on a lot of weight if allowed a longer flower. I have been so impressed with Seedsman genetics that I've gone ahead an purchased an additional 5 photoperiod cultivars to line up for my next few runs!
She is filling space between internodes with what look to be very dense knots of calyxes (I dare not squeeze test 😉) which makes me very happy to see if not a little more mindful of RH as I could see her having mold issues later in flower. I'll probably need to bust out the dehumidifier for lights out at the very least.

Week 14 in the books and all is going well. She continues to put on weight and density and smells absolutely amazing. A kind of earthy fruity aroma that I know will press into the excellent tasting rosin dabs.
I've given what may be her last feeding and will start checking trichs to gauge how much longer she has left. I've done some light defoliation this week to promote light penetration and am very surprised how even the lower nugs seems to be fattening up into something impressive. A good thing since I didnt really lollipop her. Seedsman genetics really are nothing to turn your nose up at. I'm thoroughly impressed and have no complaints with this how this run has gone. I also have to acknowledge the switch to organic as a huge step forward in dialing in my grow. I just couldnt seem to get nutrients right with mineral based but have had no issues with any of my girls since switching ti BioBizz. Top notch stuff, I must say.
I'm hoping we are nearing the end of this run as I cant wait to get her curing and pressed into something I can dab on as we roll into summer still in lock-down mode. That said, I definitely don't intend to rush her. :)

Week 15 progressed nicely with a fair amount of pistils turning orange signaling a shift toward the end of the cycle. Of course, ultimately, I will be going by the condition of the trichs which are still predominately clear on calyxes. This is exciting as I estimate at least another 2-3 weeks before the chop; so she hopefully has some weight to add to her branches before it's all said and done. Not that she doesn't already look to have a promising harvest. 😜
Not much intervention from me these days, just letting her coast and dialing back nutes as we get to the end of things. I need to do some defoliation once more but am still trying to figure out timing on that. Suggestions are always appreciated.

Week 16 and these ladies continue to impress. My only complaints so far are related to my own mistakes while caring for her. That said, she always takes them in stride and seems to bounce back readily in spite of errors.
She seems to be slowing now as I'm not seeing a lot of size change in her inflorescence. Perhaps at this point she is just working on frosting up and packing on density. I had to correct some humidity issues during dark cycle as I saw very light and limited evidence of WPM on two lower fan leaves. Leaves we quickly removed and daily inspections have shown no more issues with WPM anywhere on the plant. Adding the dehumidifier to the tent seems to have corrected. During lights-on I keep the tent opened up and RH stays in the mid to upper 30s so that should keep the mold at bay. This would be the only "weakness" in the genetics I've seen so far. That said, I don't fault heavy indica genetics for being susceptible to mold. That's pretty much par for the course.
I have a pocket scope on the way to help give me a better idea of how close she is. She has over 50% pistils at orange at this point but the loupe just doesn't get close enough for me to get a good measurement on where she's at in the cycle. The pocket scope plugs into a PC or phone and should help me narrow down her harvest window.
She's coasting now with plain water irrigation to clear up some light burn I was seeing on the leaf tips. I always make the mistake of following nutrient vendor recommendations and overdosing my plants with N during flower. I really need to stop doing that. 😒

All I can say at this point is these genetics are stellar. She is still putting on bulk and has formed some truly beautiful colas. She's showing mostly cloudy trichs at this point so I believe I may chop her next week. I am not wanting to go too far past peak THC production as I am not looking for sleep medicine with high CBN.
The smell is floral and quite pleasant to behold. She's frosty and looks like she will press into decent rosin when all is said and done. She's just coasting now, drinking plain pHd water and enjoying the last of her time in the tent. Really looking forward to the cut on this one.

She was an absolute breeze to grow. She handles all manner of growing techniques; topping, LST, defoliation. In every case she bounced back without much fuss within 24 hours. She is a great strain for a beginner though she seemed to be slightly susceptible to powdery mildew during late stages of growth. Just keep her below 50% RH during flower and you should be fine. She grows thick so you'll want to trim fan leaves as you go. I took her about 5 days earlier than I would have liked because she started to throw nanners. That said, I believe I had an unchecked LED light in some of my equipment that may have contributed to the stress that resulted in nanners. Just be aware that she has the propensity for it. I didn't lollipop her but to my surprise she didnt produce any airy larf; even the lower popcorn buds were dense and lovely in their own right.
All in all, great offering by Seedsman. If it's any indicator, during this grow, I purchased 5 more strains of Seedsman genetics based on how much I enjoyed growing their White Widow. Not bad at all for a freebie seed!
