Week 1 Veg Next grow for RQS is their Bubble Kush Fem. This one isn't the auto as I only grow photo's at this moment. She sprouted a nice long, thick hairy root after being germinated in a wet paper towel which I put in an open plastic bag. She soon broke the coco and made her appearance. She was given her first nutrient feed (listed above) on Day 7 and the cup was back-filled. Thanks for following! 🐺

Week 2 Veg Still a healthy seedling. Cal-Mag was increased slightly. The base nutrients were also increased a bit, the ratio is gradually being changed to 3-2-1 (G-M-B). Her next feeding will be a full strength feed with a few other things added to the mix. Thanks for following! 🐺

Week 3 Veg Still a happy, healthy girl. Base nutrients were increased and changed to 3-2-1 (G-M-B). Cal-Mag was also increased slightly. Silicon has been added to the mix, along with a drop of Honey, little bit of molasses and some Epsom Salts. For those new to mixing synthetic nutes; It's important to add all of these in the correct order to ensure they all mix together and dilute properly without binding with each other, causing them to be locked out and instantly turn to salt. I always start with silicon as it's the most difficult to mix. Next is Cal-Mag as this is also hard to mix in well. Then the base nutrients, starting with Micro, then Grow, then Bloom. Afterwards, I add in the sugars. And lastly the Epsom Salts. The next step for this girl is to be transplanted and topped, which you'll see in the next update ✂️ Thanks for following! 🐺

Week 5 Veg Her two main tops were topped on Day 32. Her lower branches have now reached the top of the canopy and she's looking perfectly happy and healthy 👌 nice thick stems on this girl too 💪 Everything's ticking along nicely so not much to update. I'll probably be topping her 6 tops in next weeks update, for the last time. Depending on how well she bushes out I might start bending her down too, but we'll see how she goes. Thanks for following! 🐺

Week 6 Veg Beautiful strong structure and growth on this girl. She was topped for the final time, LST'd and then transplanted at the end of the week; into a 4gal smart pot. She's going to be vegged for about 2 more weeks before going into the flower tent. She wasn't very root bound when transplanted, but this girl has some nice thick white roots. Her leaves smell nice and strong and are looking great. She won't be tied again, but I'll be bending her down and giving her a bit of a beating until she's ready to go into flower. This should give me a nice perfect bush and an even canopy. Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Week 7 Veg Since her transplant last week I've let her recover and have been bending her main stems down. She's not been tied, but a great advantage with feeding silicon is it makes her very flexible, even with thick stems. I find it a lot easier after a feed too, once she's taken a fresh drink. Cal-Mag has been decreased slightly, along with her base nutrinets as she seems very slightly toxic in N. Since lowering she's been growing quicker and looking happier. I've also started adding activated/stretched EM1 into each feed in all of my garden to boost the microbial life. These guys help provide more accessible nutrients for the roots to uptake. She's looking extremely healthy and a beautiful smelling plant in veg which is always a good sign 🔥 She'll more than likely be thrown into flower before the full 8 weeks but I'll post another weeks update before then. Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Week 8 Veg A 6 day week; This girl was given a good leaf strip at the beginning of the week to help with light penetration when going into flower. But a few days later you would never have known she was stripped! She was then given another good defoliation and minor lollipop on Day 55, this was the morning she was thrown into flower (Day 0). I'll be taking a couple of clones from her and giving her a higher lollipop within a few days time. I start feeding Mammoth P the week before flower as they're more of a phosphorus specific microbe. From then, it is added to their feed once a week at 0.6ml/4ltr (0.15ml/ltr). Extremely healthy growth and a thick, strong structure on this girl. Her leaves smell very pungent so hopefully her flowers are strong in smell/flavour too. She was given the above veg nutrients throughout the week apart from on Day 55 (Day 0 Flower), when she was given her first "transition" feeding. This will be explained in next week's update; the first week of Flower. Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Week 1 Flower It's finally flower time for this Bubble Kush girl! Flowering under a 315w CMH, she's been left to stretch for the week before being lollipopped and defoliated next week. For her first week I've left her lower than the rest of the tents canopy to let her get used to the new higher wattage light. She'll be propped up and kept level with the rest of the canopy after this week. Liquid Silicon has been increased slightly, along with Cal-Mag and Epsom salts. Her base nutrients have been levelled to a 1:1:1 ratio for the transitioning period. Once she starts to slow down her stretch and focus on her flowers, I'll gradually adjust the ratio for full flower mode. On Day 0 She was given a good defoliation, for better light penetration and tighter node stacking during her stretch. She was then given her first lollipop on Day 3. This girl is in perfect health and praying towards the light at all times. She has a thick, strong structure so I'm looking forward to seeing flowers on this girl. Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Week 2 Flower Continuing her perfect health, this Bubble Kush girl is stretching well and looking great. She was lollipopped again once she'd stretched a bit more, and also given a good leaf strip. She was raised a bit to get her level with the rest of the canopy. This will tighten her stretching, now she's of good size. If she stretches much higher than the average canopy height of the tent then she'll be lowered to compensate. I tied half a net in her quarter of the tent. I say half because it's not a net, and not used as a scrog. I simply opened her up for better light penetration and also for support in the later stages of flower. You can also just about see her starting to produce some calyx's now too. I'm loving everything about this girl so far; her perfect health, structure and how little she cares about being butchered and stripped. She bounces back instantly. Looking forward to seeing her flowers grow! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Week 3 Flower After 21 days she's no longer stretching, but now concentrating on her flowers. She's already starting to show trichomes later on in the week too. Her base nutrients were gradually changed to the above, at a 1:2:3 G:M:B ratio. Now she's finished her stretch, silicon was decreased slightly and will be stopped by day 28. A few leaves were plucked here and there, to stop a few tops from being shaded. I'm happy with her health and growth in this early stage of flower. Now I'm looking forward to seeing her bulk up and also what smells she gives off. I added a little slo mo video on the end too 😉 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Week 4 Flower She's building well and getting frosty. She's not the strongest smelling of plants at the moment but her scent is gradually getting stronger and more unique. A few leaves that were covering bud sites/tops have been plucked. I try not to take too many at a time to avoid as much stress as possible. Liquid Silicon was stopped by day 28 as it takes the longest to flush from the plant. The coco should still hold some for a little while, but will be gone before flush is reached. I also increased her base nutrients just a little bit to see how she copes. Since doing so she's continued to build well and stay happy and healthy. Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Week 5 Flower This girl's frosting up nicely and smelling super sweet. I can't quite put my finger on what it is exactly, but it's a smell I keep having to come back for! Silicon was stopped by day 28. After day 35, Cal-Mag and Epsom Salts will no longer be fed. She won't be given any floragro or micro after day 35 either. This should ensure she's flushed properly after 2-3 weeks flushing. Next week she'll be given a nice PK boost. Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Week 6 Flower This Bubble Kush girl is smelling beaut 👌 Very sweet 🍬 she's also looking nice and frosty, and taking on a purple colour under the full spectrum CMH. This week her feed has been changed; floragro and micro are no longer being fed, she's only getting PK for the last week before a 2 week flush. Can't wait to see her fading. Week 7 Flower The Bubble Kush has finally entered flush 💦 from here on out she'll be given only water and EM1. Once it's been stretched, EM1 can go a very long way so I include it at 1ml/ltr throughout flush too. This keeps the beneficial microbes in the coco so they don't just get flushed away. With each watering she is given at least twice her pot size in water. She's taking on beautiful purple and yellow winter colours under the full spectrum CMH. She's caked in trichomes and smelling stronger each week. I can't wait to take this girl down and finally taste her smoke 💨 she has such a unique, sweet smell that's hard to stop going back to! Sorry for the late updates guys, life and work can get busy for a little while sometimes, but I'm trying my best to keep up 👍 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Week 8 Flower This was the last week for this Bubble Kush girl. She faded into some beautiful winter colours. During this week, as each fan leaf completely died I was plucking them off to keep her clean and prevent any mold occurring. She was taken down on Day 56 after a 2 week flush. I'm really looking forward to seeing what flavours she holds in her smoke 💨 because she smells amazing. Her aroma changed throughout flush, but still kept the nice sweetness and smells dank 🔥 Harvest update soon to follow once she's dried and been jarred for a little bit 🍬👌 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Thank you to everyone who has been following, commenting and liking each week, it keeps the motivation to create the best diaries I can for everyone to enjoy or learn anything they can from. This was another fun run, with stunning colours to finish. She was dried for 7 days before being dry trimmed and jarred for curing. Because I have 4 seperate plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 plants in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out properly. Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺
