Week 7 Veg
Since her transplant last week I've let her recover and have been bending her main stems down. She's not been tied, but a great advantage with feeding silicon is it makes her very flexible, even with thick stems. I find it a lot easier after a feed too, once she's taken a fresh drink.
Cal-Mag has been decreased slightly, along with her base nutrinets as she seems very slightly toxic in N. Since lowering she's been growing quicker and looking happier. I've also started adding activated/stretched EM1 into each feed in all of my garden to boost the microbial life. These guys help provide more accessible nutrients for the roots to uptake.
She's looking extremely healthy and a beautiful smelling plant in veg which is always a good sign π₯
She'll more than likely be thrown into flower before the full 8 weeks but I'll post another weeks update before then.
Thanks for following and happy growing! πΊ
@LordPekers, do you mean my nutrients? All nutes get mixed into one and then feed to the girls. All measurements are listed above for you too mate βοΈπΊ
@Teamdirtbag2, yes I think if I was to get another ceramic it would have to be the DE 630w. But for now I'm going to upgrade to a standard 600w HPS as there's still a lot going on, with the new 600w Ceramic HPS etc. I'll wait until they're cheaper are more readily available haha πΊ
@TheFoxFarmer, that's kind of what I thought. The double is supposed to be equivalent to a 600 hps. I think it's the 615 or something like that. But seems expensive. I haven't found anyone using it.
@Teamdirtbag2, I understand what you mean and in all honesty I don't believe either way is wrong (as long as explained). I wouldn't run only one plant under the one light, otherwise she'd be 4x the size she is/was. This is why i think this is the best way for me to work out the average for the full enviroment. My Apologies, I have no problem being asked anything, I just can't stand sarcastic questions.
In regards to the 315w CMH vs 250w HPS I still haven't came to a conclusion in all honesty. The CMH is slightly cooler than the HPS but it's harder work to get the same weight. There's a lot more defoliation involved to get it to penetrate enough. The full spectrum of the CMH gives the girls more stunning winter colours too throughout flush, but that's about it. I expected more from the 315 but I'm keeping it in until I get a 600w HPS πΊ
@biggreens420, cookies isn't the best yeilder but when given a proper run this girl scout crack can definitely produce some πͺπ my first run with her wasn't at her full potential but my second girl which is in flower atm has been topped a lot more than any other plant I've grown in there! π we'll see! Lol πΊ
Awesome harvest as usual and I really need to get one of them bins or make one like you did the frost on them buds is wicked gonna have to give it a try wicked job that's how I calculate my grows also lol
@biggreens420, cheers Big G βοΈ check out Skunk Sifters on IG mate, I think I'll just start trimming directly ontop of those as soon as they're available π I like to stand up so a big screen will make it a lot easier. Nice one, it's the only way to get proper figures if running other plants lol πβοΈπΊ
