The end of the tester run here. As far as I can tell, this is the orange sherbet auto. However, like with the others, it’s FB33 until I’m told different.
This will be the last one, it’s in
This little one is trying to stretch out already. The sativa in it is sure gonna shine I imagine. I think we will do some off the wall training with this one. I’m not quite sure what yet, but keeping this sativa low, is going to be the goal. Let’s see what I can do. Either way, it looks like a grower and looking healthy.
Not much going on this week. Just slowly coming into her own. I’ll probably transplant this week into the final pot. I was going to do that last week, but time got away. No worries of problems this early though , so that’s good.
Well, I really meant to have these transplanted already. However, I’m waiting for the others to finish up for the room. So, by next week they will be in their forever pots. This week really brought some good veg growth. Once they’re transplanted, I’ll decide on the topping or training.
Same as with tester 33 this one started flowering before ever being fed. So, that’s what it is at this point. Hopefully nutrients come in soon, or I’m going to feed her a different line up.
As for training, this is a sativa so given success growing flat like this before, we’re going to do that. I have a tall tent, but I prefer short plants when possible. All in all, everything seems to be lining up pretty well though.
Training is going as hoped so far. Growth is coming on fast. She’s bushing you, and since flowering has come on, keeping her stretch down is fun. I’m sure this isn’t the highest yielding method, but it’s just cool looking, so we like it. Bout all the excuse I got for you. Lol.
Maxibloom to the rescue on this one too. We was waiting for our greenbuzz liquids to come in, however with all this rona’ going on in the world, shipping out of country is taking forever. So, time for feeding.
We’ve done well keeping this sativa strain low so far. It’s about time to clean up some of the veg and let her start doing the vertical boogie upwards to completion.
This week I’ve seen a lot of the vegetation start filling the canopy more and more. Looking like it’s getting pretty good side branching and fattening up. Should start looking like a real plant here in the next week or two. This method of grow definitely slows down growth, but it’s sure pretty. This one was supposed to be sativa favoring, but we’ve kept her tied down pretty good thus far. We will see what next week brings.
This one is starting to look pretty now. Cut a bunch of leaves off to open it up. I really love the look of growing like this. She looks happy and healthy and starting to take shape. She’s gonna start growing up and filling out now.
More of the same this week. Did some defoliation. It really piled on the leaves this week. Got it thinned down some, exposed the stalk once again. Everyone seems to really enjoy the pictures when we grow like this. So we tried to get a little more in depth with it. I think the training is done now and it’s time to let her start going upwards and building some real buds. Thanks for looking!
Lots of little bud sites popping up and filling out. It’s been a real effort to keep this one down low, but it’s working. Training has definitely slowed down the overall process, but worth it to me. The wedding cheesecake harvest went well enough, growing this way will be something we randomly do time to time. Best I can tell we gain nothing from yield, adds on growth time, but dang it sure looks cool along the way. Lol. Thanks for looking !
Starting to come to life now. Building the buds up nice. We introduced some beastie bloomz into feeding this week. 1/8th tsp to start. That stuff scares me. You can really screw things up in a hurry if your not careful. That’s about all there is to say this week. See what’s happens next week. Thanks for looking.
Another week down in the books. The buds have started to build, getting fatter day to day. It’s starting to produce a citrus like smell. Not really strong, but subtle. Some light defoliation and we’re good to go. Not much else to say. See ya next week.
Let me start by saying wow. I’ve kinda been sleeping on this strain since day one. She just keeps on looking better and better. Trichomes are piling on like I didn’t think they would. The smell is becoming real strong. Almost a citrus if you will. She really seems to be loving the addition of the HPS to the grow. All around pretty happy with this one.
Cut down on the feeding some this past week. Straight water from here on out. It’s just about time for her to be no more. It’s been a slow grow from all the training, but I couldn’t be happier. She’s grown a nice even canopy, hasn’t given any problems through out the grow. Smells are STRONG. If you brush against her at all, your gonna smell it for awhile. Thanks for stopping by, we will see ya next week!
Flush time is upon us. She got nothing but water this week and will got a healthy flush out through her also. She will get only water until done now. Getting close. We will get some trichome shots next week for all you. That’s about that for now though. Thanks for looking.
**update** i should have originally entered here the apology for not having the wet trim photos. We love doing that. Even good ol SBG has commented on enjoying that. This one however, is not the plant to accept that. This was the wrong style training for this girl. I should have forced ALL her attention into one main cola. These buds are FAR TOO STICKY to deal with wet trimming the way the buds are all low and together. We tried, but dirt was getting on the plant, and well, that’s not okay. So, sorry folks, no wet trim pics on this one. We will try to make up for it next time.
This was the last of the testers that we received. It’s been fun running all of these and really getting to try out the flavors. They call this one terp monster for a reason. Your eyes will burn standing over this thing. They need not said it was orange sherbet. The orange is SUPER STRONG in her. The buds are looser than I would like, but that’s to be expected when training one like this. Trade off of showing off vs growing quality. Regardless if this one doesn’t smoke well( see no reason it shouldn’t just worry about the citrus being strong) I’ll simply turn this into concentrates and enjoy every second of it. Other than that ladies and gents, that’s a wrap on the orange sherbet. We will get some numbers up before too long for yields and such. Thanks for watching along.
Stunning pics! I wish I could take some pics like this, but stuck with the camera on my potato phone.
Seriously though, it looks amazing what you've done with the plant, training it like that :)
Hey there,
Thanks so much for running a diary of our genetics 🙌
Let us know if you need any assistance, we’re more than happy to help.
Happy Growing !!! 🌱☘️🌴🍀🌿🌳
@WildeWeed, Visually she will bring harvest, just curios how you counted flowering on this one. From showing sex, preflowers or your own cut off zone ?
I love lst and defoliation, its obvious that they steal a bit of grow and growers time, but result always rewards, at least with esthetics or taste if quantity is the issue ...
One day, ill give a try for Autos again, FastBuds are first to try out 4sure.
Beautiful grow my friend. That plant has some wonderful color on it. I have one on order and this grow is putting it at the front of the line. Looking forward to the smoke report. Congratulations. 👍
@Treighfunky, I would suggest growing differently than we did. I updated the diary reading to reflect that. She needs ONE main cola in my opinion. Some good side branching buds perhaps.
