Welcome to week 3. Had some issues arise with light stress (serrations curling up slight twisting on a few new leaves) so I move the light up 8 inches and she seems to be doing better. Also had some brown spots on the very first set of true leaves, which may have been light stress also. I did add some calmag to the last watering as I am using RO water. The water gets remineralized after its filtered but I'm not sure to what extent. It didn't seem to be an issue last grow, but I figure I'll monitor the plant for any changes since I added the calmag and go from there. Aside from that, growth is progressing nicely, she has developed just a hint of smelly goodness, node spacing is pretty tight, good side shoot development, which is good because I plan to start low stress training probably at the end of next week so long as growth keeps on at its current rate. So awesome possum, oh and I'll say so far i'm impressed with my new spider farmer light (1000) other than if you go but what they say for hanging height, it is too much for my plant, it is adjustable but you have to remove the driver as the dial is underneath. Not sure why you design something that way but whatever. I'm going to attempt to leave it on full power and just adjust height as needed. Well that's it for this week folks, remember, stay high, happy, and healthy. See you next week.
She's looking great. I really appreciate your light burn tip(s) for my own grow. I've since raised my LED on your advice. I look forward to seeing further weekly updates, Bless up!
@smoke24, two of the plants do, the other two just keep growing faster than i seem to raise the light. It's just the tips on the new growth though. The light is almost always at or above 60cm now from the canopy and i'm thinking I should raise that even higher. I'll try 70cm and see how they respond to that.
@Bluntblazer66, They feel pretty dense. I know my last grow which was northern lights ended up on the airy side. The only big difference with this grow aside from being a different strain was the fact that Im using the spider farmer sf1000 light.
damn bro i just pulled some beautiful flowers off the same plants. my pictures dont do justice but theyre all typed of lime green and bluish. Good job growmie
Hi, thanks for your comments
I am interested in which type of grow method you have in mind.
If you are interested in DWC with bubbleponics, drop me a line and I can do a video of my res set up. Its DYI and cheap as I could make it. Learned a lot about hydroponics in my first grow and I would not go back to dirt unless it's outdoor.
Good luck with your choice😎👍
Looking good friend. Beautiful setup. Plants seem to like it very much 👍 It's outdoor again for me but I read as many LEDjournals as I can cause it will be the lamp of my choice one day. Good luck and Happy growing.
