1st grow - RQS White widow Auto - Coco

Sleeping_farmer Very fun to grow for 1st time. I never even think of growing cannabis or anything to be honest. Speciallly because im not a smoker. At least for the past 5 years..but now with new buiseness stress i found myself with a lot of stress and anxiety so i wanted to medicate myself and see if it helps me. As cannabis isnt legal in my country, and i dont know anyone that uses it or sell it, why not growing it myself?! Let the adventure begin..

Sleeping_farmer 20 days . Lots of errors on my 1st grow, saw a cal-mag def so i add 2mg of cal-mag insteed of 1mg. Then u got a N toxicity due overdose of it. Figure it out that the problem wasnt the nutrients but the salts built in the root zone, i flushed with plenty of PHed water and didnt give her any nutes for 24h , after i water her with 0.5mg/1L of grow/bloom/cal-mag 2x only next day. Coco is tricky, we cannot let coco dry, but watering too much with nutes is very easy to stunt her if not water just pH water once in a while , sadly autos dont allow much try and error. Next time will try a NL auto with soil+smart pot.

Sleeping_farmer Did some defoliation, did some LST, broke a branch, did some more defoliation. Was a stressful week for this auto girl. Got the distance of lamp from 80cm to 45cm and she loved. Also stop watering 3 to 4 times a day. I found out that watering less but well is much better. Also do it in specific hours seems to help her "digesting" the nutes better. I start watering at 9am and at 9pm , 0.5L at a time . Also this week she is starting to smell so much ,even outside the tent and over the entire room. I can even smell it with the door closed outside the room sooo, i already bought a carbon filter, just waiting it to arrive. Thats all for now, waiting for those pistils to show up, and maybe will try some kind of scrog 🙃

Sleeping_farmer Ei ei, 40 days old , 2 weeks on flower it grew about 15cm high , also got 2 clones from her and will probably get 2 more if the strain proofs to root well . Shes now drinking so much water that im watering 2L a day . Roots are coming out of the top , crazy plant! Pistils are small and some are growing brown , but still no bud formed as expected. Sadly summer is here and temperatures are rising like crazy. HPS is heating the room so much, i had to keep the tent open all the time. I decide to order a viperspectra 450w leds, will arrive this week, that way i think i can control the heat much more easier. Thats all for this week 😉

Sleeping_farmer A normal week ,no issues.. shes starts to drink 2x more since 2nd week of flower , im giving now 1L at a time and getting about 10% runoff. Done 3 defoliations , just uncovering all bud sites in shadow by upper leaves , and also that lower bud sites that will never grow due lack of light. Also getting so much stretching , omg about 3 cm a day , no joke! Main cola is now at 60cm high from the coco amd i bet tomorrow it will be 63cm! Its my 1st grow but i think this plant will be a late blossom but huge. Cant wait for final lap! See you next weeks peeps

Sleeping_farmer Hello again, soo its beggining of week 8 and damm things are getting frosty and excited! Its been a while so this week i take same time and take a lot of pics with super zoom to watch those sweet thricomes evolve. Applied neem oil for 1st time to insure no bugs or pests or mold attack my hard work of months. Its a natural pesticide with a horrible smell but amazing proprietes for cannabis. Leaves stay fresh and hard , and get a super armor against all type of bugs. I noticed amazing healthy look 12h after apply and will for sure use it on all my grows . Vegetation is surely over, got 6 dominant colas and around 15 semi-dominant ones aside, smell is starting to get more sweet and citrus and less " green-leaf" . I decided o buy 4 small full spectrum leds 200 led with 166 red and 34 blue to insure light all over the plant and not just the canopy , not looking to get small buds and will do a little expreriment with ebay cheap lights + viperspectra 450w, Will also try viper+ HPS 250w for last week to see light penetration on the plant. Got 3 more weeks until ripen and florakleen amd finally taste my first grow weed ! Its been super fun and cant wait to get a bigger tent and start another grow asap with multiple strains! Looking for CBD red from sweetseeds for daily use and a NL for night bed time use 😋 . See you next week and thank you for reading 😉

Sleeping_farmer Another week starts, and my "noobish"keeps getting my girl hurt. Leds are tricky..they sure dont output the heat of the HPS 250w i used for 1 month and half , but they sure give damm lightburns if not kept at right distance. At the end of week 8 i experiment to drop the lights from 45cm to 30cm. All looked ok, temps were good, no burns, leaves were standing up as praying to the light. After 1 week i woke up to bleaching,tips yellowing ,brown spots..everything you dont wanna see at this stage. Leds was silent but deadly. I now have them at 40cm and leaves dont pray anymore and no more burns appeared. Still damaged lower and top leaves around 10% of their mass and remove a lot of them also. That had stunt my grow for about 3 days , 3 days they didnt grow or fatten the buds(so sad..). Other than that im still loving to learn the basic skills to grow good weed and im pretty confident that the next grow will be so much better. Cant wait to bring some news with a bigger tent and different strains. Did a clean up with florakleen and started usual feeding at lower dose in next morning . For this strain, i really dont have any cannabis like smell , insteed i got this sweet ,kinda caramel cake smell all around the leaves and buds. I even question myself if this is actually a white widow, but since i have no other reference..who knows?! Its so,so,so sweet . I think 3 more weeks until harvest so..see you next week!

Sleeping_farmer Day 70 ! Beggining of week 10 , nothing much to report, shes gaining weight and size , getting very sticky . Smell is still the same , not very strong but its getting more sweet .. in 2 days will start the ripen process. Will start with 1 day florakleen and then 10 days of ripen followed from 2 days florakleen again and then...SWEET HARVEST TIME! Sleeping_farmer FloraKleen 2x at day 75 Ripen from 76 onwards..will feed Ripen only for 10/15 days until its ready for harvest, then 2 more days FloraKleen to clean those nutes and 1 day no water before harvest. Its day 77 , things are looking good, no humidity problems or mold or pests. Buds are getting bigger as supposed , smell is still the same sweet caramel cake like. Tips are starting to yellow as also the border sides of leaves. Pistols are about 40% brown and thricomes are about 30% amber Im not looking for a high THC but more a CBD increase so will let them get at least 80% amber. See you next week Happy growing

Sleeping_farmer WOOOT WOOT!! DAY 89 !! The time has come, my girl is finished , shes ready for a week now but i want high cbd and lower THC . Im getting around 40% to 50% Amber colour and im looking for 80%. Its been years since i dont smoke so im looking for something relaxed and not very potent. Been watering 1L less, from 2L to 1 liter a day only by mornings. Smell getting more sour and less sweet , more cannabis like i would say. Ripen actually did a good job, as thricomes numbers doubled if not tripled over the last week . Summer is here and we are getting Temps of 35C/37C , its being hard to keep temps under 30c so last week i kept the tent semi- open to help decrease the temps. But now i have CAT FUR all over my plant ! I wonder if that is smokable?! Lol will need to take them out when trimming. I was going to cut at the end of this week but i think i will keep her 1 extra week for CBD increase :)
