She grew perfectly on her own and with some training, she opened up and frosted out!! I could have let her go maybe another week but the other 3 plants are needing the space.

@EveryGrow, no, I haven't had a seed not germinate using this method. Not that I'm popping thousands of seeds or anything but 20+ times I've had no problems. Overall, the less you handle the seeds (and their delicate root tips and hairs) the less chances you have of something going wrong. By that, I've heard of ppl breaking the tap root by accident when transferring to medium. The soak allowed the seed to absorb the water it needs to split the outer shell, and the rockwool holds enough water to get the young seedling upnand going but also enough air is held in the roots to get fast development. To each their own method tho...
I've noticed lines in your pictures from a HPS System. Care to let us all know what lighting systems you are using because 88 watts seems a bit wrong seeing as they do not make HPS systems lower that 150 watts. (unless you dismantled a flood light or something. I'm at a loss for what uses a magnetic ballast at that low of wattage)
@DabCrab, yeah, pretty close to the first crew of not the first one. I'm sure it's the first white light so I'm assume first cree. Lol, shows what I know for panels 😂😂😂
@Tenacious_Trichomes, Thats the one that has all the smaller diodes in the shape of a circle correct? Thats like the first cree cob fixture made on the market isn't it?
@Tenacious_Trichomes, i cant wait. ive done lots of research and the guys at mephistos seem to be the absolute best. plus their customer service is already on point. i messaged them a question on their site and got an answer within minutes. usually places take days/weeks to respond. i'm also going to be getting an LED to use with them. It'll be my first LED grow as well.
@BigDaddyK, it smells of grape candy, very sweet and some sourness to it as well. Haven't tasted it yet but I will add all the details as soon as I get numbers and such.
@bigbubsofcheese, I don't ph the seed water, just the rockwool cube while the seed soaks. I wish I could run clones, no space for a mom, so perpetual autos is gonna be my forte...
Inspirational TT! Waiting on my order of Double Grape from MG. Will be my first grow in 18 years (a LOT has changed!) and getting stoked. Hope I can do half as well as you. Impressive grow!
