Dropped the seed today Dec. 11, 2016. She was placed into a ziplock bag on the 12th of December, waiting to break the surface...
Also dropped a Grape Stomper on Dec. 12.
Both on day 1 on Dec. 16!! We are off!!
Hey guys, not much progress as of yet...I always seem to have a slow start till around day 15 then things take off. Must be the hempy method? All my plants are like that...any, this one is like all the ones before so, won't complain I guess.

I'm going to group these two plants in the same week this time. Not much for explosive growth yet, they seem pretty slow this time around. Oh well..time will tell. 🙏😂😉
Now they are coming along...finally!! Haha but they are looking good now and growth has picked up pretty quickly also. Looking forward to the show that lies ahead!! 😎
So, Grape Stomper is flying solo now as the first chemdogging was a hermi. I pulled "it" and started another chemdogging. I'll start a new journal for that one...
I hit this girl with some House and Garden Magic Green but was testing a higher ratio then what I usually use. She didn't like it...yellowed a bit, but bouncing back nicely now. Some defoliation was done yesterday to open up the plant and I will continue lst till stretching stops. Cheers everyone!! ❤️👊
Day 41 and she's coming along now!! She was fed her last vegitation feed and will be switched over to flowering nutrients next feed. She's showing some promise!!
Well, she's taking off now and the buds are stacking nicely!! The trichomes are also starting to come on now also...might be another mephisto frost queen!!
She's on cruise control now!! Lots of bud growth being seen daily and she is getting her frost on as well. She is looking quite promising and probably looking at the 75-80 day window at this point.
Day 61 - This girl has set herself on cruise co tell for the last two weeks or so. Sucking back 2-3 liters every other day and she's literally bone dry. Her smells are starting to come in now also and the mrs. said it's like wild grapes/blueberries!! Sounds good to me!! ;)
Day 67 - she's still swelling and putting on the weight daily. Most buds are getting to their peak size, she will get one last feed then flush!! Almost there ladies and gents!!! 🙏🙏🙏
She grew perfectly on her own and with some training, she opened up and frosted out!! I could have let her go maybe another week but the other 3 plants are needing the space.
@EveryGrow, no, I haven't had a seed not germinate using this method. Not that I'm popping thousands of seeds or anything but 20+ times I've had no problems. Overall, the less you handle the seeds (and their delicate root tips and hairs) the less chances you have of something going wrong. By that, I've heard of ppl breaking the tap root by accident when transferring to medium. The soak allowed the seed to absorb the water it needs to split the outer shell, and the rockwool holds enough water to get the young seedling upnand going but also enough air is held in the roots to get fast development. To each their own method tho...
I've noticed lines in your pictures from a HPS System. Care to let us all know what lighting systems you are using because 88 watts seems a bit wrong seeing as they do not make HPS systems lower that 150 watts. (unless you dismantled a flood light or something. I'm at a loss for what uses a magnetic ballast at that low of wattage)
@DabCrab, yeah, pretty close to the first crew of not the first one. I'm sure it's the first white light so I'm assume first cree. Lol, shows what I know for panels 😂😂😂
@Tenacious_Trichomes, Thats the one that has all the smaller diodes in the shape of a circle correct? Thats like the first cree cob fixture made on the market isn't it?
@Tenacious_Trichomes, i cant wait. ive done lots of research and the guys at mephistos seem to be the absolute best. plus their customer service is already on point. i messaged them a question on their site and got an answer within minutes. usually places take days/weeks to respond. i'm also going to be getting an LED to use with them. It'll be my first LED grow as well.
@BigDaddyK, it smells of grape candy, very sweet and some sourness to it as well. Haven't tasted it yet but I will add all the details as soon as I get numbers and such.
@bigbubsofcheese, I don't ph the seed water, just the rockwool cube while the seed soaks. I wish I could run clones, no space for a mom, so perpetual autos is gonna be my forte...
Inspirational TT! Waiting on my order of Double Grape from MG. Will be my first grow in 18 years (a LOT has changed!) and getting stoked. Hope I can do half as well as you. Impressive grow!
