so growth has been better this week, few days to dry out and both are looking great. One on the right has a double stem on one branch jointed together then splits off half way. The other has 2 random leaves poking out the middle. EC and feeding still the same as last week. Can be a little fiddley to dial in the blumats at first but seems to be good now. Turned up the light to 250w and lowered it a little. Will turn up to 300-350 next week depending how they look. Did some research on these 2 and wonโ€™t get too much stretch on them so will aim at 6-8 weeks veg then turn them depending on growth Hope things turn out like last run

Hello My friend. It depends what kind of Defoliation you are doing really. If you are just tidying the plant up. Ie removing fan leaves freeing up light spread. That can be done at any time with minimal stress to the plant. She will shed the smaller leaves herself she knows what she needs and what she doesnt. Though if you want to trim up lower branches I would not suggest doing this past 2-3 weeks of flower as then you are running a risk of stressing the girls to much when in peak hermie time. Personally I wait untill week 7 to do any defoliation which is rare for me as I grow clones at the moment which means not alot of bushy growth anyway :) You can defoliate in any week just keep in mind the amount of stress your causing them. If you have an ec meter and you can tune the nutes more specifically then maybe you could do it around the 4-5 weeks but as i say all the time on this site there is no "correct" way to do any of this and it comes down to your own preference and experience. What will work for one person might not for the other you know we all do it differently and we all respect each others opinions and styles of growing. End of the day your plants are looking great alot of growers tend to be bored at home especially at the moment try to fight the temptation of going in there just to waste time. We have all done it. Bottom line is your set up is looking great your plants are looking very healthy why stress them for no reason ? I mean if you have a level canopy and light is not getting to some bud sites then yes move the buds if you can but personally i would only cut anything of my plant if it was blocking light and even then I use it as a last resort if you use mutiple nets you can move the plants around alot more rather than having to cut them :) Hope it helps don't forget to choose one of as an answer if yourr waiting for more opinions fair play stay safe and keep on growing :)

Lower that netting pal if you have not already. My plants are literally snapping branches because the buds are to heavy for the stalk so with no support they droop down out of light and can force you to do partial harvests which is never good. I have 2 nets in mine and im kicking myself for not lowering them enough earlier on in the cycle it may have hurt my yield but 1 or 2 ounces :( More support the better. Looking great though my friend keep up the great work and keep growing :) Stay safe.

@MrJones, itโ€™s taken 5-6 grows to set it up so it works. Only last 2 grows have been worth the time out in. Had a rough first 12 month, nearly gave it away but finally got it dialed

hello friend ! how tall and wide are your girls now ?
Dynab000
Dynab000commented4 years ago
@portcityplug, they are about 30-40cm, trainer that way.. they would be 60cm wide. They are in 4x4 foot tent. They should start to stretch a little now Iโ€™ve flipped to flower My last run they got a little out of control so cut veg a little shorter and trained abit more so they stay abit more manageable

Great harvest, yielding 70% from wet to dry is just crazy, I can barely push the 20% mark - whats your dring regiment?
Dynab000
Dynab000commented4 years ago
@MrJones, I mostly wet trim. Reduce as much as possible and hang in drying rack, the cure in tubs with humidity pack. I missed the weight immediately after cut down as I had to go away for work. Weighted when I got home so wet weight would have been a little higher definitely
