No photos at this point, no tracking. Germinated per breeders instructions and put them in the pots afterwards, they came all sprouted 24-48 hours later.
Planted them in 3 gallon plastic pots using Fox Farms 50% ocean forest and 50% happy frog. The guy at the grow shop cautioned that just ocean forest would be to 'hot' for the seedlings but that doesn't make much sense to me since it's all organic.
**Note: This isn't my first grow of sour diesel auto, this is my first grow ever.
started seeing signs of calcium deficiency this week, added a dehumidifier to the room to try and get that under control, wanted to avoid venting outside if possible
Finally got a pH testing kit, pH UP and pH DOWN, and a TDS meter. Plants had been showing signs of calcium deficiency. Initially the person at the local hydro store told me that the water was hard enough where I am that I probably wouldn't need to supplement calcium so I didn't worry about it.
Bowed to the reality that I could not control the humidity in the environment letting the tent exhaust back into the room, added a window vent.
I am going to start flushing the stunted middle plant in prep to early harvest.
5/8 - last day of the 6th week, start of the 7th.
Just water today, no calimagic no nutes, pH'd down the water to 6.2-6.5
the buds are thickening up quite a bit from last week
the middle plant is probably going to be ready to harvest soon, will start to flush it with water
I didn't weigh them wet since I knew they'd lose most of that weight and I didn't wanna get all excited over the wet weight. They have a few more days to dry and I'll do a final trim and weigh them while setting them up to cure.
@Growingkitten, Yeah I like the light a lot. BUT, take that with a grain of salt, this is my first grow and I don't really have any experience with different types or sizes of lights. I'm going to get a spider farmer 4000 for my next grow (going to upsize) and see how that does.
