The Force is strong with my first One

First attempt ever. Focusing journal on one specific plant - Skywalker Kush. Decided to go with pure coco coir - canna coco professional plus. My mistake on the very start was not buffering the medium as a sin number one and letting coco dry as a number two. You can already see deficiencies however I was blind at that stage.😉 You will see the progress and how I was fixing the problems in next updates.

As per title- the Force is strong with this one - he is fighting all the time being burned by what was happening in the coco ——-> let me explain as it’s always about the details: - I’ve started checking everything very carefully and couldn’t understand how the plant is getting so bad while getting all she needs in a watering solution - it was all about the water! - my tap water comes out with crazy 400-450 PPM so whatever I was mixing it was way too strong due to water quality. Second thing I had no idea what exactly is in this water. - switched to de-ionised water and everything changed! - noticed quite fast growth and now deficiencies started to be really visible Recovery process in next entry 🤘

After getting to the core of my problems switched to high frequency watering 2x24h using only 0PPM water - explosion of new growth - mixing solution comes out always perfect @ pH 5.8 - busted A/B so my E.C went from 1.1 on start of the week to 1.5 at the end You can see that recovery is working very well Every watering finishing with around 30% of runoff to be sure what I’m feeding on top is going through runoff. With this I’m always sure that plant is getting all the time fresh portion of needed “food” and coco is not taking any Cal and Mag 🤘

So we are in day one of week 4. Massive amount of new growth on every level. It’s now 7 nodes tall so it looks like she will be topped this weekend. Temp on quite constant level : 26C Humidity: around 60% Next update shortly 🤘 Added few new photos after 6h sleep - start of day 2 Day 3 Update with photos: - Skywalker got his topping treatment today Let’s see what it will bring 🤞 Day 4 Update with photos: - Looks like topping didn’t affect Skywalker in any negative way. It’s now 24h after and instead of any shock we can clearly see that it’s getting more and more bushy 😍 Day 5 update with photos - Skywalker transplanted to 12l pots - Changed Pure Coco for Gold Label Hydrococo 60/40 mix

Week 5 Day 1 No issues after topping and transplant. Looks happy and growing. Need to start dehumidifier as temperatures start to creep up In here and humidity hitting higher and higher 🤘 Week 5 Day 6 Every day getting more and more bushy. One more week and she’s going into second tent and starting flower 🌹 😍

Pow pow 💥 It’s official start of last week in veg (counted from 4 full sets) - actually it’s around week 8/9 from seed. In next few days Skywalker will change his home - going to second tent for his flowering period. Before the change I will be transplanting to final 30l pot and starting training on netting. Stay tuned guys 🤞🤘 Update Day 5 Last two days feeding with Sensi CalMag Extra only and took it from the light more to the corner as she got quite big already - 27 inch in highest point In couple days transplant and moving to second tent for her Flowering Time 😻

It’s the time....Luke is now ready to finish his training. He changed location to much bigger and taller tent for his flowering period. Everything under MarsHydro TS3000 light 💡 Before switching to 12/12 got quick defoliation and transplanted to final 30l pot 🤘 Tomorrow getting his trellis net # Keep it locked and stay tuned! 😎🤘 Couldn’t resist and managed to put trellis in place before sleep 😎 🚨 —-> second plant (one on left side) is LemonWalker OG as well from DNA Genetics started in same time as Skywalker. There was some issues with it on early veg stages and to be honest I was almost sure she will not make it.....surprise, surprise as you can see recovered to the point where I decided to switch her to flower and see what she will bring 😉 Day6 update Girls going both strong 💪 We can see first flowers starting to shape. Second and probably last defoliation today to push all the power into forming tops 🤘 Stay tuned!

Flower Week2 (Week8) starts today 🙌 Extremely bad weather with few days of constant rain affecting the humidity levels. I’m having a massive issue to lower it below 70% with humidifier, fans and outtake with carbon filter constantly on. Fingers crossed 🤞 Stay tuned! Update day 5 Still battling the humidity levels but it’s way better than the start of the week. LemonWalker is definitely looking as the first to finish from those 2 They getting around 3 litres of water (food) straight after lights are on - EC 1.9 / pH 5.8 In two days with a a start of week3 I will be dropping CalMag extra and Roots excelurator as they won’t be needing it anymore. Absolutely can’t wait till the end 😍

Pow pow and welcome back 🙅‍♂️ Week3 of Flower starting today. Last week stretched those ladies very nice and now we can see that power is going to bud production 😍 Checked the stems and the highest one is reaching 45 inches tall itself. Absolutely delighted 😃 We are cutting Roots Excelurator and CalMag Extra from the regime as they will not need it anymore. I’m still struggling a lot with high humidity levels hitting 70-80% quite often - still, there is good exhaust system and lots of air movement with temperature between 21-26. For now completely no sign of Mold or bugs 🐜 🤞 Stay tuned and look for daily photo updates 🤘 Update Day4 (day 18 of flower) Buds starting to fill the whole tent everywhere I look 👀 Invested in RAM 10l dehumidifier and now both girls are in sweet point...second advantage - I’m getting back free 0ppm water 😍 Stay tuned!

Pow pow and welcome in Week10 - official start of Week4 of flower 🙌 There would be no week without a struggle. After sorting out humidity levels and investing in pro dehumidifier we are now under extremely hot weather hitting 30 degrees Celsius every day. Trying to cool down tent as much as I can throwing ice inside every few hours and hoping that high temps will not effect in any stress that could follow with hermaphroditism - for now all good 😅 Noticed some burned tips on leafs so for next couple days watering with only pH’d water to let those girls use any extra nutrients. Pow pow 💥 Welcome in official WEEK 5 OF FLOWER 💐 Every day those buds getting bigger and bigger. Last 4 days of week 4 girls got only pH’d water with not nutrients. Today with start of week 5 we are introducing Overdrive into the regime and cutting down Amino Treatment as stems don’t need any more juice Last photo update of week 5 uploaded so enjoy the view 😍 - cruise mode on. Pow pow and welcome in official start of week 12 (week6 of flower) We are 86 days from seed and 36 days into flowering period now. It’s definitely the strangest part as every day gets longer and longer with waiting 😉 Good part is - we are in total cruise control mode now. It’s the last week girls are getting any food with EC around 2.2 - 4 litres per day each. Dehumidifier pulling out around 6 litres of water every 24h still keeping humidity on high 50’s - it’s not bad. Overdrive is doing its magic - day after first implementation buds started to get bigger and bigger every day 😍 LemonWalker with main branches as big as my arm started showing the weight so needed to instal some quick support above scrog netting using training wire leftovers. Pow pow and welcome in Week 13 - official week 7 of flower 🙌 Most of last week both girls got only pH’d water. Today they are getting nutrients again for few days and starting flush. At this stage it’s really a cruise control mode and checking every day how those buds are changing 😍 I’m guessing that Lemon Walker will be ready with 8 weeks mark and Skywalker Kush may need a week more to get to full potential. We can easily say that Lemon Walker with its phenotype went straight into Lemon Skunk side of things not showing any similarities with Skywalker. That’s actually sweet. Skywalker Kush from other hand - that’s the famous phenotype so many people are talking about. Extremely dense with amazing knuckles and loads of side branches full of buds. Really can’t wait to check them both out. Stay tuned with photo updates 🙌

Pow pow and welcome in Week14 - official Week8 of bloom 😃 There is no much changes from last week apart from buds getting more dense with pistils changing colour to orange all over. Skywalker is absolutely full of knuckles or “good foxtails” as some of you will say. LemonWalker bending as mad due to bud weight 😍 At this stage both girls are in flush mode getting nothing but plain water. Pinched small stem from each of them to run some pre-test...couldn’t resist haha. Stay tuned for updates 🙌 Video Update Day 5 of week 8 (week14) => check this fist size Budz 😍 ...they are hard as a freaking stone and I’m not able to grab it in my big hands 🙌 That’s the last update before the harvest this weekend. - last two days in light before 48h darkness. Looking at what this plant went through I’m amazed with results. This plant from middle of veg was a massive experiment as she suffered badly from Nutrient burns (my mistake as a beginner) - I managed to help her recover however she was let’s say quite mutated and lost a part of main branch. Flowering time wasn’t easy as well, still rewarding me with 230 grams of fine end product. It’s important to mention that this specific plant could easy go around 2 weeks more closing around 11 weeks in bloom. Unfortunately I needed to harvest after 60 days due to ongoing high temperature in my area. Still it’s very powerful and strong smoke 😉

That was a great start experience on Growdiaries.com with definitely more than average harvest. I think that 240 grams from single plant as a beginner grower is more than I could ever dream of. As I said before - RESERVA PRIVADA from DNA Genetics con provide you with great results even as a entry level grower. In those 15 weeks we had lots of difficult situations to deal with: Nutrient burns, humidity and temperature issues and even splitting poor Skywalker in half while stretching on net - still, plant recovery is amazing. You can’t go wrong with it! 🙌
