Week 4 was stressful, the plants were obviously not happy, VPD was still an issue. I held off on any watering to start but as the soil dried out the plants didn’t begin to recover. I began to contemplate root lock and on day 23 I decided to transplant into 2 gallon air pots. I used pro-mix hp for 2 and a local vegetable mix with added perlite for the other 2, plus mykos / Azos at the root zone for each, followed by a thorough watering until I got run-off out the bottom. I also decided to further stress my babies defoliating some browning leaves and topping each one.

I smoke a fat joint, then slowly blow it out onto the top of the soil to improve aeration while listening to some smooth jazz. Naa I got no clue man.. *lol*

First round from day 14 till day 21 latest of flower. Second at day 38-42. Every strain is different , so that why you have to catch right moment. On first wave bud has to be formed, not just preflower, never touch them tho Second wave depends on maturity, check my Incredible sisters diary for more pictures. By tactics you should trim all fully formed leaves till last FULLY formed one, even if its like 4th note from top, nit first or second. I recommend at least 50/50 lolitop together. Do this before watering, and in plain water cycle. I do trim in veg aswell, but normally try to harm them as late as possible, no stress tactics ;)

How soon after 12/12 should I be able to successfully determine plant sex? Is this a male showing after 4 days?

I agree with norcal very hard to see... I don't know either.. Maybe wait a few days.... It's not like a set time. Like think of how fast the biochemistry is changing over. It's a huge change that's happening to your plant right now. She is saying hey I'm switching into flower mode so I'm stretching and reaching out my flowers... Males will usually reach higher then females so then drop their pollen onto the female.. But this is no Guarantee, I wish there was a way to tell you that yes it male or female.. But unfortunately you'll have to wait and see. There is also a correlation between how fast the flowers will come on and photosynthesis. My flowers will usually come up and show by the second week of flowering. Make sense? Happy growing.

I snapped a branch while doing some LST roughly a week ago. It seems to be growing again, but I’m wondering how long typically until it’s good to remove the tape?

I'm on my first grow ever and I've snapped a couple main stems,, one by lst and the other my fan cover fell on the plant and tore the whole branch off to hanging on a sliver... Taped them and after about a week to a week and a half I noticed the tape started coming loose by itself due to the branch growing thicker where it got damaged.. So I'd say anywhere between 1 to 2 weeks you're definitely safe,, both my breaks healed completely within 2 weeks! I realized these plants are pretty resilient when it comes to that sort of thing and it really gave me some insight into the benefits of HST and to what extent you're able to make mistakes and still have your plants bounce back each and every time!! Hope this helps and good luck!✌️🏻

@@Herbalvore,yeah I think I see what your talking about in the last picture , it does look like the formation of a pollen sac but give it some time keep an eye on it .

@MrBlocc420, thanks, I’m growing the same strain in 5 gal pots but didn’t document as well so only showing the 2 gals. Unfortunately I think I have some males so some real estate may be opening.
