Had to chop all my males in the tent this week, which sucked. There was three 5 gallon pots, two 2 gallons (which are from this diary) and one 1 gal that all had to be chopped. I named the 5 gals early on and everything; RIP to Trip, Cup, and Oscar.
After the massacre I was left with two 2 gallon girls from this diary and one 5 gallon she-beast I dubbed Aunt Jemima; I’m going to include her for the rest of the diary as they’re all Headband.
Day 44 - Pistils and bud sites are starting to form on the 5 gallon.
Day 45 - Added dehumidifier to tent
Day 46 - one of the 2 gal girls started to droop. I think either over watered or VPD issue in that corner after adding the dehumidifier. I moved both 2 gals to a different corner and adjusted fans.
Day 49 - Upped PPM on feeding to around 700. Upped humidity, too soon for dehumidifier. Plants are healthy and bud sites are forming.

First round from day 14 till day 21 latest of flower.
Second at day 38-42.
Every strain is different , so that why you have to catch right moment.
On first wave bud has to be formed, not just preflower, never touch them tho
Second wave depends on maturity, check my Incredible sisters diary for more pictures.
By tactics you should trim all fully formed leaves till last FULLY formed one, even if its like 4th note from top, nit first or second. I recommend at least 50/50 lolitop together.
Do this before watering, and in plain water cycle.
I do trim in veg aswell, but normally try to harm them as late as possible, no stress tactics ;)

I agree with norcal very hard to see... I don't know either.. Maybe wait a few days.... It's not like a set time. Like think of how fast the biochemistry is changing over. It's a huge change that's happening to your plant right now. She is saying hey I'm switching into flower mode so I'm stretching and reaching out my flowers... Males will usually reach higher then females so then drop their pollen onto the female.. But this is no Guarantee, I wish there was a way to tell you that yes it male or female.. But unfortunately you'll have to wait and see. There is also a correlation between how fast the flowers will come on and photosynthesis. My flowers will usually come up and show by the second week of flowering. Make sense? Happy growing.

I'm on my first grow ever and I've snapped a couple main stems,, one by lst and the other my fan cover fell on the plant and tore the whole branch off to hanging on a sliver...
Taped them and after about a week to a week and a half I noticed the tape started coming loose by itself due to the branch growing thicker where it got damaged.. So I'd say anywhere between 1 to 2 weeks you're definitely safe,, both my breaks healed completely within 2 weeks!
I realized these plants are pretty resilient when it comes to that sort of thing and it really gave me some insight into the benefits of HST and to what extent you're able to make mistakes and still have your plants bounce back each and every time!!
