Hi there just looking for an opininion on how these are looking for 2 week old babies. Its technically my second grow but calling it my real first because im learning from the hiccups i made to begin with. These at 2 weeks old look so promising in my opinion

How long should i wait now before topping or fimming? They are both currently growing fourth nodes. Also any good tips or recommendations on oersonsl preference or which you think produces more yield
You should wait for a healthy and vigorously growing plant, if doing it early as possible. 6-7 nodes will be safe and not kill it, assuming you aren't taking off 3-4 nodes, lol. When i worked in a greenhouse, they said it's safe to prune every other node, but that wasn't marijuana.
fimming is topping. No 'extra' nodes are ever produced with you top. fimming is a myth, just top normally. If you try to "fim" the best you get is a normal top and the worst is some mutilated leaves that won't cause and meaningful redistribution of auxin.
I'd wait for at least soem auxiliary growth -- and growth that matters, not something tha twill be covered up... If this is a short vege plant, then do it early. If you are growing out a 3x3 canopy, these lower branches are likely to be trash anyway. You still need to top, but maybe not to grow out the lowest 2 for sure.

hey there Dedwad ! it's all about how you want the plant to be, the mor you wait the more mains you can get right? so imagine a set of main per level, if you wait 6 or more levels and take two off you have four mains, wait 5 levels or less and take two off now you have 2 mains. In the grow room you're god, so it's up to you ! I like to wait for 4 or 5 sets of leafs so the plant isnt as young to not stunt the veg as much. Hope this helps ! 🚀
Ok then so 5 weeks in today exactly since planting the seeds. Just looking for a bit of input once again. Any opinions on how much longer i should stick with veg before switching to 12/12 bearing in mind i just topped both again for second time
You can flower them now if you like but you are better off waiting to see when it "pre flowers" then you will get the best results and best yeild. Patience is a virtue.
Can stretch anywhere from 1/2 to 3 times it size in 2 to 3 weeks of the stretch. Wont hurt that you just topped to switch to 12/12. It's how high a space do you have to keep the lights the proper distance from the plant. Once you start getting to close your girls buds wont grow to their potential. Switch when ready. Cheers
So today is exactly 3 weeks since i started plants on 12/12. I just decided to wait for until bud sites were forming before switching status to flowering
They look very healthy which is great. Give them the strongest light possible(if flowering in windows) and I would go trim those few very low leaves/branches. In a few weeks add some molasses into the waterings...it can help bulk things up a bit(most of those bulking products always have some sort of sugar, kelp, magnesium, humic/fulvic/amino acids etc).

Need advice urgently. One of my 2 plants possibly gone hermaphrodite 4 weeks into flowering. I noticed small sack like things forming in between some of the lower nodes. There are 2 pictures posted in this weeks photos if someone could take a look and give me some advice please!
Some autos like to go hermaphrodite. I snip them off as they form and try to finish the grow. I have limited space and need everything I can possibly get, by the time I see this, I have to finish out. I don't save seed so that particular issue doesn't get perpetuated.
Day 37 of 12/12 starting to get nice smell now from the one remaining plant of the 2 i started with. orange pistils forming slowly on the various bud sites.
Just looking for feedback on current progress of buds. Any ideas on how much longer you think before needing to start harvest preparation. My thoughts were still about 4 weeks at least
Looking good! I would say 3-4 weeks. Don't be afraid to ramp up the P a little bit to see if they respond with some more swelling. You will have some nice bud either way, congrats!
Hey so just looking for some professional opinions on how my bud is currently doing. Any thoughts on how long before i should start flushing. Its now 8 weeks exactly since starting the 12/12 cycle. Not seeing too much nutrient deficiency at all either
Hey friend. Usually 8 to 10 weeks of actual flower is when most weed will be ready. Hope you been checking your ph perfect ph at the runoff level. Nugs look a little on the small size. I am not a fan of ph perfect AN. Seen many people fail using that stuff. My one part formula outperforms AN. Cheers friend
Only if you are resolved to flushing at all. Flushing seems great in theory until you really think about it. It's not going to take any "chemicals" out of the plant. The salts from the nutrients are a part of the cell structure and they arent going anywhere. The idea of flushing also isn't supported by science. Look into it, make your own decisions, but after exhaustive research I changed my opinion and decided flushing probably wasn't the way to go.
Again, if you're flushing no matter what, yes, now is probably a good time to start.
Hi again just taken a few fresh snaps of the best looling nuggets. A couple of opinions on how the trichomes are doing would be lovely. I know the buds are small but thats due to low powered lights. Its only for personal smoke anyways. I just want to harvest at perfect point
You'd have to check trichomes with a scope to be sure. I'm surprised you've got brown pistils on week 4 of a strain that's supposed to flower 10-11 weeks, but I have seen Northern lights brown up early on and then REALLY start growing a ton of new pistils (and NL is part of the lineage of SSH). It should still go about full flowering time even with underpowered lighting. I'd think you still have a month and a half to go.
Hey, she is looking good. Nothing wrong with lots of little buds. She is coming together very nicely even with a less powered light. I would say at least 2 more weeks to get them real tight. Happy growing
Hi there grow friends so its 9 weeks today of 12/12 light cycle. Ive taken some nice close ups of how the buds are looking. Just after some feedback please and for someone to tell me its time to harvest lol or st least extremely close. The trichomes are looking beautiful
I would stop feeding, give it plain water for a week and then harvest. On another note, for your space 45 watts is rather low, you should aim for anything between 250 watts and 500 watts.
Depends on the type of high you want.
Regardless of terpenes and genetics if you harvest with milky thrichomes its the peak of the effects you get sedative and active high. If you wanted fully active high, harvest with clear+milky cristals. If you want it basically fully sedative, just hold on untill its fully amber crystals and you got it.
I like to harvest them at a point where some might say its a premature harvest, but i know what i'm aiming for, it just blast my mind everytime, since i need to be active and can't even risk couchlock i harvest with clear crystals. I get less yield but i get the high i want, and its better to get 70% of what you like than 100% of what you don't really want.
