This is a Dream Come true :) I'm very happy and excited to begin this first journey. I have chosen Bubblegum + for this grow. I'm looking forward to learning from everyone in this community. It's been a very fun and productive first week. Any feedback or comments are always welcome as I'm new but very excited to learn.
Another really fun week. This week I added a second tent setup. I also completed my supply setup as well as getting my water tanks set. I began using a third of the recommended dosage for the Fox Farm nutrients as I'm using the Fox Farm Ocean mix soil. The ladies seemed to respond well to this mix. I will continue to research daily to maximize my chances of success with this grow. Any and all feedback is most welcome as I'm still very new to this game. Happy Growing everyone :)
Week 3 has been fantastic for these ladies. Growth has been steady and they seem very happy. This week most feeding was done with just ph balanced water. On Sunday I did water with Fox Farms Big Bloom and Grow Big. On 6/7 I also began LST on one of the 2 plants. I've made subtle adjustments over the next 2 days. I'm just going to keep my eye on them and continue this regiment into next week. Again any and all feedback is most welcome. Happy growing everyone :)
Another great week for the BUB. Having no issues with this grow so far and feel incredibly lucky. I attribute this to a great community of knowledgeable people who are willing to share to help others. Spent this week alternating between nutes and ph balanced waterings. Still letting one plant grow naturally and the other I will continue LST. As usual any and all feedback is welcome. Happy Growing everyone 👍
Another great week for these gals. They have been fabulous so far in this grow. Responding well to LST and nutrients. On or around 6/19 we began to see signs of flowering. We'll continue this regiment to see how things go. I will up the nutrient levels going forward. As usual any and all feedback is welcome. Happy growing everyone 👍
Another wonderful week with these ladies. This has been a wonderful strain to grow. I've been alternating feedings all week between just ph balanced water and selective nutrient blends. I also removed a select few leaves during the week to allow more light to the bottom of the tent. I also elevated the smaller BUB to be at the same height as it's taller sister. I'll continue the same regiment into next week. Likely we'll kick up the nute levels to see what this plant can handle. As usual any and all feedback is most welcome. Thank you everyone and best of luck growing. 👍
This has been another great week. I've continued to follow an alternate feeding schedule between Fox Farm nutes and a p.h mix with blackstrap molasses. I've also made a gallon mix of p.h'd water with Cal-Mag to spray on the buds at night before lights out. I did this once before during the day and I believe it caused some leaf burn due to beaded up water on the leaves. I'll continue to monitor the progress but I'm excited since she looks like she's ready to explode with growth. As usual any and all feedback is welcome. Have a great day and happy growing everyone 😀
IIt has been another great week for these ladies. They continue to thrive no matter what gets thrown at them. This strain has been the most consistent through this entire grow so far. While it has almost stopped the vertical grow it continues to grow from the sides. The bud sites continue to fatten up and develop color. The smell is faint and more herby than sweet at the moment. I'm hoping by next week to really experience those scents. I overdid it last week while watering with nutes. This week I'll scale back and provide just some p.h. balanced waterings and see how they respond. As usual any and all feedback is most welcome. Stay safe and happy growing everyone. 😀
What a great week for this plant. I really love working with this one. No change in vertical growth but she continues to pack on bud weight. The crystals are looking more sugarlicious everyday. I have been struggling with heat issues for a couple of weeks now. Finding something in stock that will work with my environment has been challenging. Thankfully the grow community has been great. With some help I've found a great balance with my heat and humidity to compensate. I will continue alternating between ph waterings and a nutrient mix. Looking forward to the next couple of weeks as it will bring big changes. I also adjusted my light setup. I put a King 1000W LED and Philzon 600W in each tent to see how that plays. I'll keep this diary updated. As always any and all feedback is most welcome. 😀
Another great week for these beautiful ladies. I have continued alternating between ph balanced watering and Fox Farm nute mix. I am also struggling with a heatwave for these last 2 weeks. My temps have been upwards of 90F. I have added an additional 6" fan which brings the total to 4 in this grow space. We have plenty of circulating air and my RH is around 59-62% based on VPD chart and feedback. The LAST plant is a little behind her counterpart but has been looking to give her a run for her money. As I've seen just a hint of nute burn I am going to give just water for the next few feedings. As always any and all feedback is welcome. Happy growing.
Dream come true this week. I was able to go dark and harvest my first plant. Yes!!! It was everything I thought it would be. A big thank you to everyone here who helped with kind words or gifting their knowledge to keep me motivated and on track. I still have the LST plant going and that still has time. I will hang and report next week on the initial dry and smoke. I have been doing nothing but PH balanced waterings for over a week since I had some nute and heat issues. This was a chance to reset. The plants have been responding well. I want to thank Victory Seeds for these fun genetics that really helped get me off on the right foot and really helped build my confidence in a new venture. I'm looking forward to growing my skills ( pun definitely intended 😉) Keep safe out there and happy growing. 👍
This week was another great week for this lady. She is crystalizing nicely now and is truly beginning to get that sweet bubblegum smell. I have been watering with plain water ph'd at 6.
On Friday I did water with Fox Farm Nutrients. I also set up a home made Co2 device for fun. I'm looking for a way to measure the Co2 so if anyone has any suggestions please share 👍
I'm going to continue this regiment as it looks like she may have a couple of weeks left. As usual any and all feedback is most welcome. Stay safe and happy growing. 😀
This was a really weird week. On one hand she is looking wonderful and really glistening cloudy trichomes. On the down side, I found spider mites on Saturday 😡. After full assessing my tent for several hours I removed all plants. I then found that the mites had only taken over the main cola as well as one neighboring cola. After some research and based on what I had available I went with a bleach mix that was recommended. Since the plant was so close I also cut both affected stalks. I then gave the tent a thorough cleaning with the solution. I also took the affected plant and stalks outside and misted them with the solution as recommended. After drying I decided to keep this plant outside the remainder of it's life. I have been diligent about looking everyday to make sure the issue has not returned. I will continue to do this until harvest. From here I am just watering at a ph of 6 and allowing the plant to use all of the nutrients left in the soil. The trichomes are about 75% cloudy. I'm waiting until that is 90% with about 10% amber. Once I reach that mark I will harvest. As always any and all feedback is most welcome. Stay safe and happy growing. 👍
This lady is near the end of her time. Trichomes are cloudy and starting to see amber. pistols are dark and curling in. Likely I will be trying the ice bath and going dark for a couple of days later this week. Other than that she's been kept outside and isolated from the tent since the spider mite issue. Thankfully it's been a week and I am faithfully looking everyday for any traces. So far things are good. Temps are getting back to normal so the utter heat all day and night is over. Other than that it's been plain water ph'd at 6 for most of the week. On Sunday I did add some blackstrap molasses. I'll continue this regiment into this week but I'll start flushing tomorrow. I'm getting excited about this one. She smells very pungent up close and then she reveals herself with the sweetest bubblegum/berry hard candy smell. Thank you to everyone that has been supportive and helpful throughout this whole grow. I would not be doing this with the vigor I have if it wasn't for you good people. Much love and thank you. 😀
This was a great strain to learn on. Easy to grow and forgiving. I am very happy with the fact that I was able to grow from seed to harvest for the first time ever. That in itself was a dream come true for me. I can not thank this awesome community enough for the consistent support and help. I'm hooked now and am already nuggets deep in my next grow. Stay safe and Happy growing. 😀
