I've dreamed about this day for years and it's finally come. I cannot begin to express how excited I am for this first grow and learning experience. This first week is dedicated to the setup of the space and week one from germination to sprout. I've chosen Blackberry Kush for this grow. 😃

Another fun week. Everything is looking good so far. I've been researching more and more everyday to maximize my chances of success. Started with a ver small amount of Fox Farm Big Bloom as well as Grow Big. Ladies seemed to respond nicely to the low dosage. I also switched from a 20 and 4 light schedule to 18 and 6. As usual any and all feedback is welcome. Happy Growing :)

Week 3 has been great with these ladies :) They have continued to look happy and are growing strong everyday. This week was just ph balanced water for feeding. On Sunday I did add a third of the recommended dose of Fox Farms Big Bloom and Grow Big. On 6/7 I began LST on one of the 2 plants. I've made subtle adjustments over the next 2 days. Seems to be responding well to it. I'm going to continue to listen to what these plants need and try to provide it. As usual any and all feedback is welcome. Happy Growing everyone :)

It was another great week for this beautiful plant. Of the three that I've started so far she is by far the strongest grower of the bunch. I've been alternating between nutes and just ph balanced water for feeding. I've also been making subtle adjustments to the plant utilizing LST. I will continue this regiment until I see the need for change or until she begins to flower. As always any and all feedback is welcome. Happy Growing everyone 👍

This was a fantastic week for this beauty. On the 19th we saw the beginnings of flowering. Since then everyday we've had robust growth. On the BBK that we are doing LST to I defoliated a few leaves to allow more light through. This is an exciting time as this is my first plant that has taken the leap from vegetation to flowering. As usual any and all feedback is most welcome. Happy Growing everyone. 👍

This has been another fantastic week for this beautiful lady. It is really starting to grow and flower. Of the three plants I currently have growing she is by far the best. I have been alternating feedings between regular P.H. balanced water and selective nutrient feeding. This week I have defoliated just a few leaves to allow more direct light below. I also raised up the other BBK to be at the same height as the first to allow for equal light distribution. As usual any and all feedback is most welcome. Take care and good luck growing everyone 👍

Another great week for these ladies. Although I did have some concern early in the week as I noticed a little leaf burn on a few leaves. After further review it looked like it was due to spraying the leaves with a light mist and water that had beaded up act as a magnifier causing the issue. To make up for this I began spraying the leaves once a week 40 minutes before lights out to make sure that does not happen again. I've also been alternating my feeding between a nute rich Fox Farm mix and just a p.h. balanced water with blackstrap molasses. I will continue this regiment into week 8. As her buds are really starting to develop, I'm hoping to start seeing some purple color as well as getting a fruity smell. Fingers crossed. As usual any and all feedback is most welcome. Take care everyone 😀

It's been a fun filled week with these ladies. I have had some nutrient burn which I know was attributed to watering with nutes 3 times in a row. I have scaled back and will do p.h. balanced waterings for the next few. I will then start again using a third of the recommended dosage which was working for weeks. They have seemingly stopped growing vertically and have focussed in girth on the bud sites. I did heavily defoliate both plants on Sunday and they have bounced back like champs. As always any and all feedback is most welcome. Be safe and happy growing everyone. 😀

This has been the most challenging plant to grow on my first journey. The ladies are doing well but always seem to be fighting off small issues. These include leaf burn, nute issues etc. Last week I primarily watered them as I overdid it with the nutes last week. They have been responding much better so I've added nutes to one feeding. I've also lightly defoliated to keep light going down in the canopy. I also treated the ladies to a day outside to get some of that real deal sunshine 😉 I'll continue my regiment of alternate feedings of ph balanced water and nutes. I also made a change to my light setup on the 20th. I have 1 Philzon 600W LED and 1 King 1000W LED in both tents now. We'll see how that works out. I had to do this to compensate for some heat issues I've been dealing with all week. After getting some great info from the community I feel that problem is under control. We'll continue to wait and see. As always any and all feedback is always welcome. Happy growing everyone. 👍

Like Kevin Hart would say: -"oh no, oh no no nononono, noooooooo." Why do i say this? Harbinger already gave you a good answer, however i'm just gonna add that you should not have any fan blowing direct wind on your plants, its best to avoid wind stress. But if you are having high humidity issues, wich you are not, then you could use it just as a prevention for mold an rot. Ideally you are going to want the fan blowing into the growlights slightly pointing up, but in such a way that when the air hits the sides of the tent, some of the air goes down into the plants, but most of the air going up. Cumpz growmie.

This was another good yet challenging week. With a heat wave and my temps around 88-89F, I've been keeping my humidity at 59-62% and I've added an additional 6" fan. I have plenty of circulating air in and out of the tent. I continue to struggle with leaf burn on this plant. Of the three that I'm growing this one is the most delicate. I will stick to just water over the next few feeding to see if things improve. I also posted a question in the community which at the time of my writing this still has not been answered. These issues have not stopped her from growing bigger buds by the day. I'd like to do everything I can to make sure she stays healthy through the entire grow. As always and and all feedback is most welcome. Have a a great week growing. 😀

This was a huge week for a first time grower. As of last week I began just using ph balanced water. I did add 1 tsp per gallon for the watering on 8/3. After some feedback from the community I made the decision to go dark and cut one of the plants on Sunday. The other that I LST'd still has some time but it's getting oh so close. It was a dream come true and a truly fun experience. With that plant drying I'm one step closer to something I never thought possible..... Smoking my own herb. After some initial struggles with a proper place to dry, I solved that issue and now the waiting game. I wanted to thank everyone who has helped along the way with encouraging words and gifting their knowledge. This is just the beginning and I'm looking forward to getting better with each grow. 😀

After reading several other diaries on this strain people often remark on the smell as fruity and pleasant. I have grown 2 plants both have had no smell other than a slight grassy/herby smell. In the early mid-flower it was more a cat piss smell. It's healthy and growing but...

Okay I'll explain soil is an active growing medium.. There is something called Osmotic Pressure which affects the ability of the plant to circulate and transplant minerals effectively.. Your short growing small finish plant.. Is usually a result of a plant that had high rates of nutrient intake. There was adequate light for growth but your medium has been saturated with nutrients.. There is a lot more to soil growing and not so simple as start feeding in the 2nd or 3rd week.. Keep in mind lots of people grow gardens in soils without feeding any nutrients or fertiziliers.. The quality of the soil determines the overall nutrients content and availability.. Your plant is nutrient saturated..

Another slow but great week for this plant. It has been steadily coming to a close but is still hanging on for some last minute development. I have been feeding just water ph'd at 6 for most of the week. Of Friday I did water her with Fox Farm Trio. As of today she is still showing some whit pistols so I still think we have time. I have ordered a jewelers loupe to help see when things turn the right amount of amber. Things are getting oh so close and I still have the first plant curing. I hope to have a better report next week. As always any and all feedback are most welcome. Stay safe and happy growing. 😀

This was a dream come true on so many levels. Being able to grow for the very first time was amazing. Doing so with notably great genetics added to the excitement of the new adventure. Thank you Dutch Passion for helping build my confidence and allowing me to chase that dream without being discouraged with complicated issues. This was an easy grow other that mistakes that I expected to make and learn from. I'm looking forward to refining this new passion. I'll update the harvest report once the plant has had a chance to dry and cure.
