3 days to germ and then started growing rapidly. Looks like it is going to be the strongest from this run.
300 ml pot to start and soil is biobizz lightmix .
In day 10 it was transplanted into a 19L fabric pot with 70% biobizz light mix 20% coco coir and 10% perlite.
Bioheaven and fishmix was added to the feed and a couple of foliar with 1ml/L fishmix and activera will be applied.
Not much height was gained this week but side branches had good growth 👌 Very happy with the growth of this lady so far .
Few leaves and a couple of bottom branched were removed.
This was the last week of 20/4. From tomorrow lights will be switched to 12/12 and nutrients will be switched to flowering later in the week.
Second week of flowering and there was some stretch on side branches. No deficiencies so far and buds are being formed rapidly. Temp has been high last days due to hot weather reaching 30-31 at peak but it doesnt look to be affected by that.
Temp has been even higher than last week reaching 32-33 and it is expected to be like this till end as we on the middle of the summer. Flowering is still going rapidly.
Not much to be reported in the start of the new week. Temp still high but it looks very well adopted with no signs of stress. Nutrients dose was increased.
Temps were the same this week. Even though this plant had really fast veg and got a nice bushy structure with no training at all flowering production is not great so far. And it looks that it will take more than expected. All pistils still white in the end of 5th week of flowering. Adapted well to nutrients increase.
Not much for this week to report. I was hoping to harvest it in 7-8 weeks of flowering but I dont see it happening. By the look of it in the end of 6th flowering week it will need 3 or more weeks. Almost all pistils are still white but the buds are getting fatter so will be worth the wait.
Another week gone with no issues. Still has many new white pistils coming up and buds are fattening.
Going to 8th week of flowering from tomorrow which is the week that "should be ready for chop" but by the look of it is going to need at least 15 more days.
There is a time limit tho and might get early chopped in a couple of weeks time.
This lady has from a few to a lot of white pistils mostly on the top buds and had me worry a bit but after a trichomes check found out that all of them are cloudy and there is a 10% of ambers as well even on those buds with white pistils.
Leafs have also signs of defficiencies as the plant is sucking every last bit from its reserves.
So on day 85 she got a nice flush and will be given the whole week to dry nicely and get chopped 😁😁
On day 89 most fan leaves are removed. It will need 2 more days to fully dry and get chopped.
I shall start by saying that this growing cycle was with flowering in the middle of the summer with very high temp and it was known there was not any easy solution.
Apart of that time for care was limited as well and it didnt get as much care as it deserved.
Veg
From first to last week of veg this plant did nothing but growing rapidly. Growth rate and plant structure was exciting. No training at all it was grown a nice bush with long side branches.
Really happy with the veg of this strain.
Flowering
Early flowering temp was alright with the peaks reaching up to 30. Bud formation was not really fast but not really slow either. Mid and late flowering temp was high as it was in the middle of the summer but there was no any sign of heat stress. Even though it took a bit more than 9 weeks to finish which is a bit more than it should take and heat might have played a role on that.
Happy with the performance in flowering as well. A bit late but good things take time :D Buds are hairy, dense and full of crystals
Harvest
On the last days while waiting the pot to get dry from the flush and get harvested there were some spiders( not spidermites) noticed laying eggs on the leaves and had to harvest one or a couple days earlier than what was planned. Apart of that buds are dense and nice sized with a fruity smell. Total wet weight was 145g and is now drying in a 25-27c 50-60% RH.
More details will be updated once they dried.
Total dry weight 36g(10g pop corn)
