Completely forgot to update this diary, the carousel lst technique wasn't really working so I removed all restraints and let her grow, she's now two weeks into flower.

Can just see the flowers beginning to turn red which is cool.
Still feeding her once a week ish.
Removed all tie just to let her grow I don't think she liked being tied down at all.

Reduced the nutrient feed slightly, fed today. She's looking healthy, not as big as I'd like though.
Red colour is cool too see, new for me. And I have a few more red and purple strains too grow in the future if I like it.

Not much happening though, still getting a mild feed every week, don't want to overload her. Red is coming through on buds, leaves and stem. Lots of bud growth up the whole stem, we like to see that 😉

Love the style of buds on this plant, the colour and the smell. Shame my carrousel training idea didn't work.

Gave a small feed of bio grow, bloom, topmax and calmag.
Buds are still pushing out hairs and looking no where near ready.

Very difficult to see the trichomes, I'm guessing another 7/14 days still. Going to give at least one more feed, thought it would be finished sooner really?

Looking great. Smelling even better. Not too far away now, just going to wait for it to slow down on pushing out white hairs.

I know the pictures aren't great but it's so close now. White hairs have stopped popping out and all are starting to brown off now. From what I can see (and it is quite difficult) the trichomes are getting cloudy but not much amber.

The day before harvest.
She's looking super ready now.
All the white pistils at the top of the buds have started to mature and curl up. Even the lower buds look great. All the leaves have yellowed and /or dried. The buds and sugar leaves are a dark, deep purple it'll be interesting to see how the colour is when it's dry, I'm guessing almost black!
This is an amazing plant.
Next time ill definitely top her once or twice.
She didn't take well to my carousel training idea but once flipped to flower she flourished!

So as I was entering this one into the "original" contest I wanted to attempt an lst style that trained circular around the pot but the plant just wouldn't let me do this. The strength and vigour just wasn't there in the vegetave stage but she was flowered fairly young and still seems to have grown into a good size plant with gorgeous looking buds.
Will update soon with dry weight numbers. 🌱👍

Trimmed and into kiliner jar.
Only 33 grams from this one, buds very light and foxtailing but the aroma of orange, molasses and spices is somewhat overwhelming.
Will leave it 5/10 days before I taste any. But might try a cheeky nug later tonight, we'll see, you know how it is 😜😋
So after 2 days of curing.
The smell is very black Berry and autumn fruits opposed to mandarine.
The taste is kinda earthy and musky with a hint of sweetness almost minty.
I'm hoping a cure will make this strain more enjoyable and palletable.
@Fruitgrower, oh yeah, duh... Idk what I was thinking. I have some of these beans too, lol. I am just used to seeing their Bloody Skunk Auto and so many other colorful autos... I must have been baked when I wrote that. Sorry. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
@Wachsemilian, hey thanks man. I just finished trimming her to dry, the smell is unbelievable. So juicy and mmmmmm. 😋Will update on dry as soon as its ready!
@@Stresskiller, it's stunning, really interesting to grow, the red colours came on so early it looked awesome! I've also got the red hot cookies to try and have a new diary with their tropicana poison started (check it out) will update soon with dry, cure and smoke report!
