Day 50 (12/07): Already week 8, can’t believe it! The grow seems to be going great and I have not noticed any more leaves turning yellow on both the girls so that’s a good sign. The tips of both are a bit dry but hopefully they will not be damaged more since the light is on 80% intensity and it is quite far from them. There are so many trichomes and I have noticed that the pistils are starting to brown a little bit which could signify that they will be ready for harvest in a few weeks! Day 51 (13/07): Today I fed all of the girls and as they are in a week 8 now, they need more nutrients and supplements as they are growing so many buds now. I am keeping the dose of BioGrow at 1ml/1.5L (2/3rd of recommended) for the rest of the grow so that the nitrogen levels aren’t too high. I will also be keeping the BioHeaven to 3ml/1.5L (recommended 3ml/L) and might only increase it towards the end when the plant needs to uptake nutrients. I have increased the BioBloom since last week and it is now at 3ml/1.5L (recommended 3ml/L). For the TopMax the recommended is 1.5ml/1.5L but I have decided to feed them 2ml/1.5L so increase the size of buds (especially for plant R which I think it really needs), but it should be fine as it is a booster. Day 52 (14/07): Not that many updates today, the girls are doing well, plant A is deep green with no more yellow leaves and plant R still has the yellowing leaf at the bottom but other than that it is deep green as well. The humidity has been at 45% as usual and the temperatures are finally stable at 26-27C at lights on, which is really good conditions for the girls at flowering now. Day 53 (15/07): Today I wanted to check the progress of the trichomes and I checked with a jeweller’s loupe (60x) and they are still clear but there is definitely more now. But I really love how nice the buds are looking and smelling now and I will be checking the trichomes more often now as well. Day 54 (16/07): Not that many updates today, just the buds are thickening up nicely even on the AK where the lower parts of the bud that are covered by the top leaves are definitely getting bigger. Day 55 (17/07): The soil does not seem dry enough to water today so I will water them tomorrow as I don’t want to overwater them at this flowering stage especially. The temperature is doing good and remaining under 28C and the humidity is stable at 45%. Day 56 (18/07): Today we have finally received our humidifier so we can control the RH better! Obviously at the moment the humidity is quite good but I wanted to try it today because the temperatures were reaching 30C again and I put it on the lowest setting to see what humidity it would reach. The tent humidity was between 50-55% which is good to know but I did turn it off for “lights off” because it was going above 55%. I have also fed the girls today with the same nutrients as at the last feeding but did not see much runoff so perhaps they might need a water increase to 2L after the next few feedings.

Hello fellow growers! Does anyone know why there is quite a difference in the size of leaves between the two seedlings? They were planted at the same time and are treated the same. Could it be a defective seed or will the smaller plant catch up later?

Hey cookie, So there will almost always be some variation with plants of the same strain, the smaller may turn out to be the better of the 2 in the end. It looks like you're doing all the right things for them, root juice, good temp and reasonable RH, so it's probably just a patient game. The only things i noticed with your week is , maybe watering at lights out could be stressing the one...sitting in wet soil that's probably getting a little chilly since the lights are off and if any fans are on. Also just from personal experience, i used to mist all my plants to boost humidity but I wasn't letting the water sit for a few hours and let the chlorine evaporate and it ended up giving me lots of leaf irritation and some spotting, which also might have been combined with misting during lights on versus misting at lights out. Just something to be mindful of if you see any problems pop up. Happy growing. ✌️

Hello everyone! One of my plants has some fan leaves and new leaves yellowing at the bottom (and some are crispy). The plant is very bushy but from what I understand this could be nitrogen deficiency but wanted to check. The other plant is smaller and doesn't have yellow leaves

I checked your diary pics. No deficiencies. Natural dying of older leaves that dont receive much light.

Hello growers! I have what seem to be burn spots on the leaves of one of my plants. I've also noticed the tips of the plant are dry as well. The temperatures have been quite high so that could be why but wanted to check if it could be a deficiency. Any ideas?

Good farming. Just stopped I not check out the competition on the newbie contest. I just wanted to add that if you let your cute get below 45%, the bacteria die, and can't transform the chlorophyll after 52%. They stop at 55%, and die at 52%. I am sure it is still fire, but you could have reduced the green taste even more. Good luck!

@TastyBudzz, This guy has some good info. He been around for awhile. You can also find Mr. Grow it on YouTube. Not affiliated with either, they just helped my understanding of bacteria during cure. https://www.edrosenthal.com/the-guru-of-ganja-blog/four-options-for-small-scale-drying-and-curing-of-cannabis

@LeafTucker, im most interested on how fungi and bacteria feed the plants . Is there there any good data on how to feed the soil verses the plant. my guess is temperature plays a big role in the soil for what types of bacteria and fungi flourish good or bad. im guessing that adding sugar feeds the bacteria but the temperature and what bacteria and fungi are present will either give you good results or huge problems. all about reducing the green vegative taste and the bite that usualy goes with it.
