N def advanced quickly on this plant while I didn't pay attention for a day. Fortunately it stopped pretty quickly after a heavy feed and is now concentrating on making flowers so has been given a PK boost.
Slight bit of purple colour starting to show on the inside of the buds which should become much more visible in the next week.
This was a free strain for winning the October Diary of the Month. I got 10 of these from Seedsman. I haven't always been impressed by Seedsman strains but I did like their White Widow and this plant seems to have some good genetics. Putting out some frost on the leaves and it's got a smell slightly resembling sick. What is that? Had plenty of top class bud in the past that smelled of sick.
@Zannabis7, Thanks a lot mate. My two 3BOG grew to a nice height, just right for my tent, but I underestimated this one so hence the weird bending. Looks like she's stopped stretching now though so that should do it.
Thanks for the update. Looking very nice. I love the shot of the strong bend on the main stem. I never have enough courage to make such a strong bend out of fear of snapping the main stem! Continued best wishes on the grow.
Don’t panic yet, I have the real Bay Area GSC and it naturally blacks out at week 5. But the first half of flower it’s Forrest Green? Lol. I also grew a purple kush a few years back that only changed weeks 6-7. So sometimes it’s more than just cold weather. It’s a hormone switch in heavy or near end flower.
@bobo420, Thanks mate. I know. They've got a good wobble on them when I pick them up. Those colas getting heavy.
Edit: oops thought you were talking about the 3BOG. But this one is doing well too
Nice update, some good looking buds ;)
As of purple, you can try lowering your (night) temperature, if you can, by a few degrees. It shold 'jump start' them to bring that purple out.
@bobo420, Yeah I hear that. Not sure there's much I can do about it unfortunately. When it looks more or less done I can take it out the tent and leave it in a cold room for a few days. Maybe that will bring out some last colour.
