Hello there! To give some background knowledge, I've grown bag seeds and what not a few times throughout the years that ended up being males. I finally took the plunge, went fully in and splurged on all the equipment to have a decent quality medical grow. I have an idea for what I want to do, as I've done LST, Defoliation, and Topping in the past. But since I'm mostly working with Autoflowers, I'm hesitant to top it. If I do, it would be after the second or third node. I'm not sure if the Skywalker Kush I got is an autoflower or not. I had gotten it as a freebie pack from Seed Supreme from Mephisto, and all the background info I find on this strain from them is that they had an autoflower that was out of stock (apparently not!).
ANYWAY! Off of the long amount of back info; I germinated these seeds on May 18th, then planted them on May 20th. They were slow to grow. I got super excited and mixed the light nutrient water in a gallon to be prepared, but was accidentally feeding the seedlings the nurient water. It seemed a bit too much, I started feeding them regular water 3 days ago when I noticed. The light I have right now is at 40% strength. I'm going to kick it up a notch to 60% to give them a bit more light to grow. They've all been growing slow as seedlings I think because I gave them nutrients instead of straight water. I've been giving them distilled water. We will see how it goes in the next week!
I am mainlining an Auto Hindu Kush from Sensi Seeds. I topped and mainlined it effectively, & have trimmed some of the bigger fan leaves. Should I continue to trim some more of the bigger leaves or smaller nodes that aren't really growing to focus the energy on the bigger nodes?
Hello flakeyfood,
Next time continue to trim some more of the bigger leaves and smaller nodes. You seem to have harvested some good looking buds, congratulations!
Good luck with your future projects, I wish you all the best! 👽
