We are approaching the final weeks & It's safe to say I'm like a kid counting down the days till Xmas! While not my first grow ever, it's the first one I've used Grow Diaries to track & put more effort into. It's paid off I think, even though the autoflowering genetics didn't kick in for this "Quick One"
I've noticed some changes this week thanks to the Cal-Mag (Go Green) I started her on last week, with the buds really start to fatten up, the smell developing into this beautiful mango & tropical fruit mix & also the purple on the stems fading. So all is working as it should.
I continued with some light defoliation to air the buds out as I'm struggling a touch keeping my RH down & also LST to make sure none of the colas are leaning into each other.
I have had one odd thing happen this week though. 1 of the small buds on a lower branch appears to be 2 weeks ahead of the rest of the plant (see photos). I'm stumped as to why but It's leaves were yellow & the trichromes incredibly cloudy / amber. So I snipped it off & will treat myself to an early taste ๐
Only 2 weeks I'd say now!!!
Bit of a newbie question. I'm just starting to show signs of flowering & I've been using Professors Nutrients Part A + B to feed.
I'm about to start using Flower Boost , Professors Organic Bloom & Terpene Gold. Do I just use the later 3? Or do I use Part A + B plus the 3 others?
P.S.
If you want to you can opt for dropping the A and the B once you're into the flowering phase and stick with just the bloom, boost, gold. You might end up wanting to do that just to eliminate having to use so many different bottles and really those 3 have basically everything you need for the flowering phase..... vegetative phase not.
Happy growing.
I cant help to see that you have a 12/12 schedule while flowering. This is for photoperiod plants.. Autoflowers are fine with 18/6 20/4 or even 24/0. (Right) light is weight :)
@Deceptive, Iโm having a similar issue I think. Most grows of this strain are seed to harvest in 11 weeks... but Iโm on week 7 and no flower. Do you think the plant was a photoperiod? Iโm wondering if I need to flip my lights...
Hello fellow grower,
Newbie Gardner here!
Just saw your pictures and diary and to be honest got really excited about this strain. We are now kicking off the 4th week, full flowering stage and I was a bit disappointed because the stems are so distant ones from anothers. I'm more used to bushy flowers however seeing yours just got my hope back on track. Keep on the brilliant work there.
Happy growing ๐๐ป๐
@Cgrow, Thanks! Mine got super leafy & lush just before flowering & it looks like they might "bush up" in your case. I'm jealous yours flowered so early, they look super healthy, good work!
Mines been the slow & steady, not like a normal Autoflower. But hopefully the extra grow time equates to a bigger yield!
Good luck with the rest of your grow
