Decided to remove some lower foliage as due to previous LST was getting wet when feeding. Did some more LST to try and bring colas together and more central and accidentally caused a break in one stem which can be seen in photo. I hope the lady recovers from this i'm a little anxious about it.

Unsure as to whether to defoliate this around or not. Can anyone with experience say if this worked for you or not please. My goal is quality>quantity but i'm happy to achieve both if possible ;)

There might be a couple leaves you could remove, but it's a very open plant as is. As far as pruning anything off.. down low, small growths near end of vege growth (stems and leaves before fully focusing on flowers) It's an auto, so that becomes more of a guess, if you try to do it a couple weeks early to focus more resources into quality later. I'd be conservative, if it's your first time doing it. Leave more than you think... see how the plant grows at various depths relative to your light and environment you provide. The larf will typically be at the same level. each time.. .you'll better recognize what's wasteful to leave on the plant and turns into a 4" stem with trash on it (lol)... still learning, myself. a little extra larf doesn't hinder the development up top.. a lot of larf does. Larf provides way better yield for edibles or hashish sieving too, than trim.. i don't even keep my trim, if i have some larf for bubble hash.

I accidentally cause a break in one of the cola's stems. Just wondering if folk with experience could say if this is likely to be a problem and if so how much of a problem? Was thinking I could put some Rhizotonic dilution in a spray bottle to help her recover?

Hello I super crop often nowadays as it's fun and a good way to move branches away from the lights if they get too tall. Since it doesn't look like you broke it completely it looks like it will heal. Support the branch with a small stick(kabob/marshmallow/ bamboo) whatever you have around and just watch for healing. Try not to mess with it too much, and a very mild spray solution may help(kelp extract or others like rhizo) but ideally you want it to heal up and turn into a joint like an elbow look...so eventually letting it dry and heal like a scab will be best. Usually a crack might secrete some small amounts of fluid and it'll heal with time. Just watch closely to see if any foliage starts to wilt or die off. *sometimes you can tape the wound so debris won't get in...but again the break looks pretty clean from the photo. Happy growing. โœŒ๏ธ

Hi there, today I noticed that some of the fan leaves had this weird yellow tattooing on it so I want to share it to hopefully understand what it indicates. Please refer to photo. The one in the photo is the most affected, there are a few others with the same but to a less degree

@trulyscrumptious yellowing fan leaves can be normal in week 3 of flower and on. Maybe need to kick up your ec and nutrients if itโ€™s not getting enough the plant will eat the lower leaves and kill them off but again that is pretty normal.
