In August last year I won a 'diary of the month' award. As a prize I got, among others, a bag with a seed called 'Sex Bud'.
Will this 'Sex Bud' grow into a Sexy Lady ?

SexBud is the product of years of hard work. This is the spectular result of a cross of a special White Grapefruit phenotype with our legendary C99. Sexbud was launched only recently (2015) and has since been gaining popularity rapidly.
It is an improved version of the C99 and she maintains its Sativa traits, although the leaf structure is more Indica inclined. SexBud develops with typical Sativa-like characteristic, meaning a tall structure with larger internodal spacing: SexBud responds very well to cloning, LST as well as SCROG and SOG. She develops with frosty and hairy buds. SexBud can be grown in just about any environment and does very well outdoor as long as temperatures aren't too low or too high.
What truly sets this strain apart from any other strain is the luscious smell and taste. The odour is very complex with hints of Grapefruit, Pineapple and Peach. These are only a few of the exciting fragrances people have described.
Sexbud has a highly energising and uplifting Sativa high, truly creative and highly sensually stimulating. It is great for losing inhibitions, maintaining a high energy level and getting creative with a willing partner! That is how Sexbud got her name. The effect works best when used in moderation and can bring the sexual experiences to new heights.

DAY 32 After repotting one week ago, now first time watering :
10 liter water and 50ml Plagron Start-up in each flat wooden bin (120cmx120cm; covered with pond foil) and let the plants suck it up
The plants are now growing well, and therefore I try to increase the VPD to the value 1.
DAY 37 Plants are growing excelent ! I have had to move the pots to get a nice flat canopy. Topping and defoliation will result in an even more flat canopy.

The SEXY lady has stopped growing. She is in full bloom. She is spreading her fabulous uplilfting fruity smell.
She is a sexy sativa but she has some indica genes: her stems are stronger and the leaves arre darker green.
Plants are ready to harvest.

Sex Bud is an easy to grow strain. Mediuam firm branches for a mostly Sativa, Very fast flowering.
63 DAYS = 9 weeks blooming
Last day before chopping them down.
Because of space shortage I had to harvest them all at the same time. Although 8 weeks will do for Sex Bud !

Sativa strain, but quickly ripened. 9 weeks will do perfect.
Small buds, but great yield. Faster ripened than C99. Does not need support.
Sweet subtle fruity smell. Peaches, pineapple... 😍 But also hints of catpee smell 😸
Is this a stinker my friend, wanna grow this one but not sure if i should, I've got carbon filter etc, growing in a cupboard but I bought the lemon kush from FS, but had to cut it down after a month due to hearing the neighbours through the wall talking about getting a wiff of skunk every day. Not sure how they could smell it, as the room is sealed to high hell but they could :( Does it have that skunky funky smell that gets everywher, or is it more fruity and stealth. Keep up the great diaries my friend
@PannDanggDiddlyAngg, Thx for your support. Sorry for the late answer. Sex Bud is not a stinker. She has a subtile smell of peaches, fruity. No skunk smell from this baby.
