Almost end of week 3. BubbaSlush is well into her stride and has hit the ground running with thick strong vigorous growth and huge leaf development. She certainly has those 'Hollywood' good looks. We have suffered very hot temps here lately and BS is showing a few signs of heat stress with some canoeing to her leaves. I have raised the light (again!) but with three circulation fans and my EVAC fan running full blast and running my 'lights on' period at night..........it is still too bloody hot ๐Ÿ˜•. I also use Bio-Silicon to help relieve heat stress and ensure that the EC levels are very low to help the plant uptake water more easily. She was re-potted from a 1 ltr orchid pot into a 25 ltr airpot, using hydrocorn as a base with Bio-Bizz All Mix, (with an extra 10% added perlite) and a half strength mix of Green House Feeding - Bio Grow. This should only require water for the rest of the veg period with the occasional Green House Feeding Bio-Enhancer top up (essentially humic acid and high quality kelp) although I will supplement with Bio Silicon, Fulvic Acid, Cal/Mag as required. I have only filled my pots two-thirds full of soil at this stage as I will be adding a further amount of soil mixed with Green House Seeds - Bio Bloom supplement once we get to flower and I will need the extra 'pot' space. She is nice and healthy and vigorous and normally I would top her at this stage, but the plan is to let this pheno run her natural course so that she can show all her phenotypical characteristics. Other than a small amount of LST and routine maintainence, I will not be touching her (unless she starts to get too big!) Some LST lies ahead once we have a little more branching development.

@Christopher88, As you are well into flower I would not really recommend super-cropping at this stage. You may be able to tie the top down a little to squeeze a few extra inches out (but be gentle). The 'hindsight' answer would be to top her in veg next time you grow her which should help spread the canopy rather than favouring one tall cola. Your girl looks happy and good ๐Ÿ‘

Hi Interalia666, I will be following your grow! How do you like the Take Root so far? If you have any questions about any of the DP products or want to go over growing techniques, let me know. Good luck๐Ÿ’ช
Dutchpro_Nutrients_USA_Official
@Interalia666, that is awesome to hear! I am glad that our Take Root does so well for you, although I am not completely surprised as I know it is a wonderful product! Did you only try the additives or did you try the base nutrients as well?

@Dutchpro_Nutrients_USA_Official, Hi folks.......... I will take all the support I can get ๐Ÿ˜€.....Thanks Have used Take Root before to very good effect. It helped to create a root mass in a previous plant that was so solid that after removing it from my airpot the soil/root mass was so dense that hitting it with a hammer did not break up the soil from the roots! It also created a 1cm thick x 30 cm round root mass between the bottom of the pot and the saucer. Needless to say, it has become a regular part of my primary grow kit. Also have 'DutchPro Explode' as a permanent part of my grow kit - that stuff is serious cannabis 'happy juice'.

@DaSofaSurfer, I hear you Growbuddy, neighbours can be a major challenge. Security first, second and third my friend, don't cut corners and give yourself a major headache. She is not 'in your face' stinky, - a more sophisticated 'creamy lemon' thing really. If you have small plants you may be able to mask the smell with something else but my advice would be to beg, borrow or steal a new Carbon Filter (or look online to see how you can cobble an improvised one together) - the more ignorant your neighbours are about you, the safer you are. Be safe.

@Interalia666, cheers bro that sounds nice actually. I have two small plants of this strain going and my carbon filter needs changing I was wondering if I could get away without having to change it since covid has me feeling the financial pinch rn but I really don't my neighbors to get whiff of what's happening. it's one thing that they smell my smoke sessions but I rather them not wise to my cultivar activities. the building is full of haters. one never knows who will be enough of a scumbag to drop a dime on me. I caught a case 4 years back and don't need that again in my life.
