Are you using a Fox farm soil? like Ocean Forest? It has added nutrients that will last the first 3-4 weeks of the plants life.. Most super soils are the same in regard to the length the nutrients will last. If your using an inert medium like Fox farm's Happy Frog, added nutrients will be required from the start!
