Started them on ColdWar Organics Bud Bread, 1 teaspoon per gallon. Pinched the tops and supercropped most of the tops and branches. Going to repot them in a day or two, waiting for the soil to come - 25L containers with custom 'super'/live soil.
So far all the plants are doing great, wonderful symmetry and those big fat indica leaves that have come to 9 stripes so far.
They are reacting excellent to Bud Bread a lot of side shoots are coming up, a lot of new branches... once I repot them I have a feeling the are going to explode.
Finally got everything needed for the soil mix, got to wait extra 10 days for it, so the ladies were itching for a transplant :/ but the roots seem very healthy and nice.
Started the seed in BioBiz Light mix with a dash of worm mix from plagron. Really excited about this grow, looking forward to seeing them finish <3 beautiful genetics
Add one Strawberry Cough to the tent, she's looking quite lovely, love all the shoots and branches that are coming up ;) She's going to love that Bud Bread!
This inspired me to give a shot to an Afghan bean I nabbed as a freebie. Nice buds dude - we’ll done across all of em and thanks for the constant support as well!
Mmmm Strawberry Cough! Def on my strain to grow list. Nice work here Bobo. The nugs look good.
How do you find the Cold War Nutrient Lineup? Is it all organic ?
I’m in Canada and currently use AN. It’s expensive and I like it. But I am interested in Organic alternatives. Really want to try Nectar of the Gods. But haven’t found out how to buy it within Canada.
SOG and SC sounds spot on !
@JusGrowIt88, thanks.
yeah, Cold War Organics.. it's all organic. I found them through a few other growers that I know, you can get them on amazon, I think they do ship to Canada as well.
I tried a bunch of different nutrients, used AN for a long time but switched.
@TOTEM, Thank you, might put something else in, depending on the male/female situation, going to move the males to a safer location for them and me both :)
I love the strain, it's a classic, 100% indica and I just love those big fat Indica leaves and color
@Tomatoloverboy, every time you do damage to the plant it's stress, doesn't matter if it's on the 2 week of veg or in 5 week of flower. It is recommended to lollipop early - in the first 2-3 weeks when you see the popcorn bud and the rest of the bud sites forming so you know what to take off and what to leave on. Doing that later increases the risk of stress induced hermies or just generally stunning of the plant which can be minimized by using certain nutrients or booster.
Afghani! I haven't seen that strain since I had hair! The growth on your little girls is fantastic! FILMing gives you those bent branches? Do you bend, but don't break?
@bobo420, I was looking at some of my nodes when training a bit ago, and I noticed the "lumps" you were talking about. When training is it easy to FIM your branches? If so, I've already done a bit. Hehe, that wasn't so hard!
@Quexos, hehe :) yeah, I remember my first time breaking the branches and stems... I must have sat and watched them how or will they recover :) amazingly in a few hours they were up and about like nothing had happened ;)
@bobo420,you are the first guy in this website 😃 but i guess its not able to find in my country like the all other american nuts except advanced nutrients
@bobo420, had this happen before on Afgan landrace strain. The stem was flat and there were 4 branches on every node, the cola to that looked crazy, it was square😋
@superwafilicus, I have one with a interesting stalk going on, as if you've topped the plant and then both tops merged and the stalked doubled... I'll try to take a good picture and post it with the update
