Second White Widow grow - 2 plants scrog

A very good week for these precious plants, done with stretch and into bud development. This thickening up is something I didn’t see happen really with my first grow always picking at it and excessively defoliating. This time only a few leaves removed max with total focus on the two-tiered scrog, nothing allowed to grow under very low first tier and upper one providing good support and exposure to light, a little manipulation here and there. (There seem to be two schools of thought in scrog about allowing the undergrowth to develop or not for better flower concentration and I’ll trial no undergrowth this time). They’re about 8-9 inches tall above the first tier. Continuing to tuck rather than cut fan leaves with rare exception. On the conditions front, it was a hot and humid week outside. Plants stayed within parameters with a watchful eye on humidity. I accidentally added grow nutrients rather than flowering luckily so diluted as to not make a difference so far (who knows, maybe they appreciated a boost on that final stretch) then highly diluted flowering nutrients added. They seem to have forgiven the error. Totally happy with the progress so far, having learned a lot with the first overly anxious grow. It’s a delight to see real thick flowers developing with beautiful white pistols and dark green sugar leaves. Thanks for reading and all the best of your grows!
